1. Love and Accept Yourself

Love,Yourself,Be,You,Self,Esteem,Confidence,Encourage,ConceptShutterstock

Jesy has struggled with body image and self acceptance since becoming famous. In a recent Instagram post she revealed that she is working on self-love and encouraged her fans to do the same. "I'll never sit here and preach and say I love my body, because I don't, but I'm slowly starting to just accept it for what it is," Nelson wrote. "Sometimes I'm gonna put on weight, and sometimes I'm gonna go to the gym and lose it, either way girlies, one day we will be really old and look back at our pics and think 'god I was actually banging, why did I worry so much.' Anyway I'm rambling on now, but you're all beautiful in your own ways, and I hope you all know that.”

2. Get Physical

Jesy encourages an active lifestyle and regularly adds new physical activities to her routine. "Concentrating on something else can give your mind a break from worrying. Doing something active can release endorphins and remind you how amazing your body is. Because it really is amazing," she told BBC's Bitesize during an interview.

3. Box

Boxing is Jesy’s go-to workout. "Boxing is my absolute favourite, I love it because it makes me feel like I'm not exercising," she told Glamour. "This kind of boxing has many health benefits, because it constantly requires you to think, change your position, and change your posture," physical therapist Linda Arslanian, director of rehabilitation services at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women's hospital tells Harvard Health."You're swinging your arms, moving the muscles of your arms and shoulders, increasing your upper-body strength. And when you're in the boxer crouch with a wide stance, with your knees slightly bent, you're strengthening your core muscles, back, and legs.”

4. Maintain a Balanced Diet

Jesy tries to stick to an equation when it comes to exercise. If she eats more, she works out more. "When I start feeling rank, when I know I've indulged too much, then I start exercising," she told Glamour. "We all love our junk food."

5. Hydrate

Water,Splash,water,Splash,Isolated,On,White,Background,blue,Water,Splash,waterShutterstock

Jesy prioritizes hydration. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

6. Don’t Worry, Be Happy

JesyNelsonJess Nelson/Instagram

Jesy, who left Little Mix in 2020, maintains it was great for her mental health. "I'm happy," she told Glamour. "I'm hand-on-heart happy for the first time in years. I used to say I was – even up until recently – but not really feel it. Now I'm a 10 out of 10 happy – maybe nine out of 10 some days – but it's just these past few months that I've actually felt it. The main reason for that is because I've taken control over my life and I've looked after myself. That's the most important thing you can do and that's what I've done. I know this feeling is real because my mum sees it, my sister sees it."

Jesy is very open about her struggles with body image and self acceptance. In an Instagram post she revealed that she is working on loving herself more. "I'll never sit here and preach and say I love my body, because I don't, but I'm slowly starting to just accept it for what it is," Nelson wrote. During an interview with BBC's Bitesize, Nelson revealed that she likes to add new physical activities to keep her body and mind stimulated. Because it really is amazing," she said.

3. She Loves Boxing

Jesy told Glamour that she has one go-to workout. "Boxing is my absolute favourite, I love it because it makes me feel like I'm not exercising." "The art and dance of boxing has long been kept to the sidelines in program design, but the science supporting its health benefits when incorporated into a fitness regimen is growing. In addition to improving overall strength, power, cardiorespiratory health and hand-eye coordination, there is also promising research that boxing can help people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease cope with their balance and coordination," says ACE Fitness.

4. She Maintains a Balanced Diet

Jesy triest to eat as healthy as possible, but will indulge on occasion. When she does, she will hit the gym. "When I start feeling rank, when I know I've indulged too much, then I start exercising," she told Glamour. "We all love our junk food."

5. She Hydrates

Jesy-Nelson-2Jesy Nelson/Instagram

Jesy hydrates, but with Diet Coke! "Take this water and hydrate," she captioned a photo of herself in a swimsuit sipping on a can. "About 50-75% of your weight is water! Getting enough fluid in your diet is important for everything in your body to work well and be healthy, including your heart, digestion, brain, muscles and skin. Fluids deliver nutrients to your cells, maintain a balance of nutrients, and remove wastes from your body,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “Good hydration supports normal energy levels, decreases risk of kidney stones, prevents constipation, and is associated with a reduction in urinary tract infections, high blood pressure, fatal heart disease and stroke.”

6. She Is Finally Happy

2. She’s Working On Her Fitness

Eilish revealed in her Vanity Fair interview that she is putting a lot of work into her fitness. “I’ve had a very big transformation this year with my fitness lifestyle. It’s been a really insane process, and I feel better about myself than I ever have. I just look completely different than, like, ever before, kind of, which makes me feel proud. I worked really hard on it, and I just wanna get really fucking buff.”

3. She’s More Comfortable With Her Body

Eilish opened up about her journey to self-love in an interview with Vogue. She says that she is becoming a lot more comfortable with her body, after previously breaking a growth plate. "I started to walk away because I realized none of these people actually cared about anything that had to do with me as a person," she explained. "I walked over there only to say hi, only to hug people and I got pictures of me shoved into my face. I got no love whatsoever, so I left and then I got booed and [got] called a little b*tch and got told I was going to lose my Grammy nominations."

5. She Gets Her Vitamin D

billie-eilishBillie Eilish/Instagram

Billie has been seen responsibly enjoying the sun. Sitting in the sun for 10 minutes a day can provide several emotional benefits. First, exposure to sunlight stimulates the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter linked to mood regulation, promoting a sense of happiness and well-being. Sunlight also triggers the release of endorphins, known as "feel-good" hormones, which can reduce stress and alleviate symptoms of depression. Additionally, sunlight exposure helps regulate circadian rhythms, leading to better sleep patterns and improved overall mood. Finally, being outdoors and enjoying natural light can enhance feelings of relaxation, rejuvenation, and connection to nature, fostering a sense of calm and tranquility.

1. She Has Learned to Love Herself

“HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY ✨ Today is a day where we can celebrate us. I have so many women in my life who inspire me every day and I wanted to give a little something today that can hopefully inspire one of you. Loving our imperfections can be difficult, but when you learn to embrace them and realise that our imperfections don’t define us, they are just a part of us alongside everything else that creates you as a person. None of us are the same, and that’s a special thing. We are one of a kind 🤍 This picture shows me at my most vulnerable… but I’m learning to love myself, imperfections and all. And so should you,” she wrote once.

2. She Was Once “Unhealthily Skinny”

"I went from a size 10 to a six, and it’s the smallest I’ve ever been as a young adult. Because of my height, this made me look unhealthily skinny, of which I was (not eating barely anything, feeling ill all the time, tired, dizzy) and I remember looking at myself, I’d lost my boobs and my bum and those curves I once had and I missed them,” she wrote on Instagram. "The point of this [is], since coming out of Love Island, I found my love for food again and yes I’m getting back to my usual size."

3. She Likes a Nice Bath

“Drowning my sorrows in the bath because my Met Gala invite got lost 💔…,” she captioned one recent photo. Consider adding Epsom salt. “Pour about 300 grams (1.25 cups) of Epsom salt into a clean bathtub as it fills with hot water. (Avoid using Epsom salt in a tub with jets, a hot tub or a whirlpool bath unless the manufacturer says it’s OK.),” says the Cleveland Clinic.

4. This is Her Skin Icon

ITV Palooza! 2021 - ArrivalsSamir Hussein/WireImage

"At the moment the make-up I use does change fairly often, not necessarily my staples like concealer and foundation, but I do switch up the bronzers, blushers and mascara that I use,” she has said. Her icon? "Meghan Markle, her skin is absolutely flawless – her make-up always looks lovely as her make-up always looks lovely and natural."

5. She Has Had Acne

Pride Of Britain Awards 2021 - Red Carpet ArrivalsMike Marsland/WireImage

“I suffered from acne about a year and a half ago and then I started to work with a skin aesthetician, who helped me to find my skincare routine and helped me to start dealing with the breakouts. Now that my acne has gone, we are on more of a journey to find the right products; doing treatments like microneedling once a month to deal with the scarring. I am so happy with the outcome because the difference from what it was to now is just incredible. I genuinely used to think there was never going to be a time when I could get rid of the acne and I think when you are suffering you think it’s going to be with you forever. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t an overnight process – it took me a year and a half to be acne free, but through a good skincare routine and using the right products it can be combated. My skin aesthetician advised me that the products you use to treat acne don’t start working for 4-6 months, so it took six months before I started to see a difference. The secret to good skin is also about good lifestyle, it’s all about looking after the inside to make your skin glow,” she told Hello.

In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones

This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Improving your sense of balance

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
