1. She Works Out Whenever She Can

"When I'm home, I meet with a trainer. I do like an hour, three days a week," Aiko tells E! News. "I just got a bike and I live by the water, so I do that with my daughter, and I love to hike… I just try to do at least some squats when I'm traveling. I have bands and ankle weights." Ankle weights can be useful for exercises like leg lifts, experts say. "The weight places a greater load on the muscle group being targeted. The muscles have to work harder to move this increased load against gravity, and in turn this will increase strength," says Terry Downey, a physical therapist at Harvard-affiliated Spaulding Rehabilitation Network.

2. She Focuses On Deep Breathing

"I’ve worked conscious deep breathing into my skincare and self-care routine throughout the day," Aiko tells Marie Claire. "When I was younger and got my first facial, the aesthetician asked me did I breathe. She’s the one that actually told me you should do breathing exercises throughout the day because so many breakouts are caused from stress. A lot of people ask me if I meditate, and to me meditation isn’t taking five minutes out of the day to sit by yourself in solitary. I’ve found that it’s really a state of being. It’s more about mindful living and making sure that you’re constantly checking up on breath and breathing deeply."

3. She Takes Vitamin C Supplements

Children's,Vitamins,In,The,Form,Of,Bears,An,Open,Jar, Vitamin CShutterstock

Aiko uses Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C Packets to help support her immune health. “I always get seasonal colds, and used to take vitamin C gummies during the cold and flu season,” she tells NY Mag. “I started taking this recently, within the past two years. My boyfriend at the time turned me onto it. He had one of the packets and told me to take it one day when I started feeling like I was getting a cold. I felt great within 15 minutes. So then I started reading about it. I saw that it’s pretty popular and just kind of researched the brand. I also use its magnesium every day. All of the vitamins come in these little jelly packets that you have to drink with water. Just using them daily, I have actually noticed a difference.”

4. She Protects Her Energy

"A few years ago, I took a trip to Big Sur by myself and I met with a shaman...He told me to protect my energy,” Aiko says. “He said that he can sense that I'm always giving. I let people take. It was deep. Anyways, he gave me very specific advice. He said that a lot of the time when we're talking to people sincerely, we're speaking from our gut. Any time you feel that you're giving too much or someone is taking too much from you, block your solar plexus. Now, when someone is barking at me, especially in relationship situations, I do that, and it works."

5. She Uses La Mer

jhene-aiko-1Jhene Aiko/Instagram

Aiko is a big fan of lux skincare brand La Mer. "I’ve always been inspired by the ocean. I’m a water sign, a Pisces, so I draw a lot of my inspiration from the ocean. I was really impressed by the work that La Mer does with ocean conservation," Aiko says. "I love the consistency of the creme, and how it’s ultra-hydrating but it doesn’t feel greasy. Sometimes creams can feel too heavy on my combination skin."

1. She Wants To Be Happy

Tinashe talked about her approach to her career to Byrdie. She says that she prioritizes her happiness. "It's about doing whatever makes you happy at the end of the day. And, I don’t necessarily know what that means for me or anyone else, but I think you achieve success when you search for validation through happiness over all else."

2. She Has Support

Tinashe tells Byrdie that she has a lot of support around her. She says that this helps with any anxiety she has. "Honestly, I just try not to hype myself up too much," she said. "I surround myself with people that make me feel good, make me feel comfortable. It's all about the people and the environment. If I'm able to relax, listen to music, and have a good time, then those feelings of anxiety will go away."

3. She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Tinashe broke down her skincare routine to Byrdie. "My mom taught me about proper skincare,” she says. “As a kid, I definitely neglected my skin, allowing it to get oily and collect pockets of blackheads and some occasional breakouts in my T-zone. On the road, there's a lot of changes in weather, of course. I have to wear sunscreen all the time, keep very hydrated. Airplanes are really bad for your body and your skin—all sorts of things. I haven't had a massive breakout in a while, but I attribute that to daily use of the X Out's Wash-In Acne Treatment ($24). Every morning I use the wash-in treatment with warm water in the shower. I towel-dry my face, apply a moisturizer, sunscreen, and then go."

4. She Works Out In The Morning

Tinashe broke down her approach to wellness to The Cut. She says that despite her busy schedule, she always makes time for working out. Tinashe mostly works out in the morning. “I usually work out in the morning,” she says. “I’m never hungry right when I wake up. Usually I’ll do Pilates or something in a class for maybe an hour. It’s a nice ‘wakeup’ workout.”

5. She Schedules

TinasheTinashe/Instagram

Tinashe says that having a schedule helps with her wellness. She tells The Cut, “I try to always find some sort of routine and schedule. When you do that it holds yourself more accountable, whether it’s trying to get into a gym a few times a week, or something like that. It’s the little things that are important.”

Ana Zelu is a professional model and social media influencer. She is known for her content in nature. Zelu recently shared a post on Instagram of herself on a surfboard in the ocean. She captioned it, “Yesterday was such a fun shoot, I just had to share these with you 🤍 🛥️But picture number #4?? That photobomb totally got me 😂 Which picture is your favorite ?🌊”

She Swims

As you can see from her post, Zelu likes to swim. The Mayo Clinic states that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming is often touted as a great workout for all ages, offering benefits not only for the body, but also for the mind. As a form of exercise, swimming keeps your heart rate up and builds muscle strength. It also can be a great form of stress relief.”

She Doesn't Compare Herself to Others

Zelu shares a lot of her thoughts on Instagram. In this post, she talked about no longer comparing herself to others. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today’s contemplation led me to a profound understanding of the detrimental impact comparison has on our lives. It’s like a silent intruder, subtly creeping into our thoughts and poisoning our perception of ourselves and others. It’s a universal struggle, one that weighs heavily on the hearts of many. I’ve come to realize that comparison is the ultimate thief of joy. It robs us of our ability to appreciate our own journey and achievements, as we constantly measure ourselves against an idealized version of others. I’ve resolved to break free from its grasp. We should choose to celebrate our own unique path, recognizing that each step forward is a triumph in itself. Rather than fixating on external benchmarks set by others, I’m focusing on personal growth and development. Whether it’s through learning new skills, cultivating gratitude, or simply practicing self-compassion, every effort counts.”

She Hikes

Zelu is seen on a hike in the previous Instagram post. Harvard Health states that hiking is very beneficial. “Like brisk walking, hiking is a good way to improve your cardiovascular fitness, particularly if your route includes some hills, which will force your heart to work harder. Taking a hike on the slightly uneven surface of a trail also provides a natural way to engage the core muscles in your torso and to hone your balance skills.”

She’s Resilient

Resilience is another important thing to Zelu. She talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Dear Diary 💭📝, I witnessed something truly remarkable that touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how people can go through the toughest storms in life and yet remain gentle, patient, and kind. I saw someone who faced challenges that would break most people, yet they chose to respond with grace and humility. Their ability to stay calm and compassionate in the face of adversity is nothing short of admirable. It made me realize the beauty of resilience – the strength to keep going even when life throws its hardest punches. These individuals not only endure the storms but also emerge from them with a spirit that shines brighter than before. Their example reminds me of the power of kindness and the importance of staying true to oneself, even in the darkest of times. It’s a reminder that even in the midst of chaos, there is beauty to be found 💕🫶”

She’s Accepted Herself

Zelu talked about the importance of acceptance in this Instagram post’s caption. “Dear Diary 💭📝, Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but amidst it all, I feel like I’ve taken a step closer to the right direction. Letting go of the past is like shedding a heavy coat I’ve been carrying for far too long. It’s not easy to release the memories, the pain, the regrets, but today, I made a choice to loosen the grip they had on me. It’s like taking a deep breath after being underwater for too long—refreshing and liberating. Forgiving myself has been a journey filled with tears and moments of self-doubt. But today, I finally understood that I deserve the same forgiveness and understanding I give to others. It’s like giving myself a warm hug, wrapping myself in kindness and acceptance.”

Strong glutes and hamstrings contribute to hip and knee stability, minimizing injury risks in sports and daily life.”

Viciconte is seen using a stationary bike in the previous Instagram video. Doing this can help strengthen your muscles. Penn State PRO Wellness explained, “Riding a stationary bike can help build strength in your legs and lower body, especially if you use a higher resistance. The pedaling action can help strengthen your calves, hamstrings, and quadriceps. Additionally, it can work the muscles in your core, back, and glutes. If you use a bicycle with handles, you’ll also be able to work your upper body muscles, including your biceps, triceps, and shoulders.”

She Runs

Viciconte shared this Instagram video of herself working out. In it, she is seen doing running exercises. Viciconte captioned it, “When we exercise, our body releases endorphin, a natural substance produced by the brain during and after physical activity. The release of endorphin, also known as the 'joy hormone', helps you relax, reduces stress, anxiety and improves your mood. I always say that it's never too late to start moving, so you know that tomorrow you have no excuse 💪🏻”
