Jordana Brewster got in an at-home workout, and her kids got involved. Brewster posted a photo on Instagram of her in her home gym, while her kids played around. She's on the 5-Factor Diet

Brewster is one of celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak's, clients, and she also follows his famous "5 Factor Diet." She tells NewBeauty, "I follow the 5 Factor diet, which contains a mix of healthy fat, protein, and fiber in each meal. I also eat every three to five hours so I'm never famished. It's easy to stay satisfied because I'm not depriving myself of my favorite food: carbs!"

She Loves Buying Gear to Motivate Her

Brewster says she makes sure to stay motivated to work out. However, she tells NewBeauty that she has a unique motivation technique, which she encourages others to follow. "If you like the outdoors, don't force yourself to go to the gym. Instead, buy a pedometer and go on a hike. Buy cute gym outfits every once in a while to stay motivated. I love to go to Nike and treat myself to the latest running gear."

She Works out Regularly

Brewster says that she makes sure to work out as often as she can. "I work out five days a week," she says to NewBeauty. Brewster also says that she does a lot of different types of exercise, "I like interval training on the treadmill—side shuffles, walking at a fast pace on an incline and running. I also do strength training three times a week with my trainer Harley Pasternak."

She Eats Healthy Snacks

Brewster says to NewBeauty that she likes to snack, but she makes sure that the snacks she eats are healthy. "I like popcorn (made using olive oil) with cheese, apples or peaches with Greek yogurt, whole grain tortillas with low-fat cheese and beans, and Kashi Go-Lean bars."

She Makes Her Workouts Fun

Exercising can sometimes be a little boring. However, Brewster tells NewBeauty that she has ways to make sure her workouts are fun. "Music—it's so important to have a fun, inspirational playlist to work out to. If you are working out on cardio equipment, bring fun magazines to read."
