1. She Does Crossfit

Josetty’s main form of fitness is Crossfit. In fact, on her Instagram bio one of her taglines is Crossfit gym-athlete. CrossFit is a form of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and focuses on improving strength, endurance, and body composition. However, it can result in injury if not done properly. The involvement of well-educated coaches decreases injury rate.

2. She Dances

Dancing is one of the key ways Josetty blasts calories. Not only does it build strength and promote flexibility, but helps with weight loss and even promotes cardiovascular function. One 2016 study published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine found that people who engaged in moderate-intensity dancing were 46 percent less likely to develop heart disease or die from it than non-dancers. In comparison, moderate-intensity walkers were just 25 percent less likely to suffer heart health issues. “How Peruvians Do it ! Dancing some Urban style with my coach,” she captioned a video of herself getting down and blasting calories.

3. She Has a Trainer

Josetty understands the importance of working with a professional to learn how to stay in the best shape possible. “Thank you @samtonikian for all the tips and helping me to improve my workout,” she captioned a video of one of her workouts, which involved a lot of rowing.

4. She Maintains a High Protein, Low Carb Diet

Josetty regularly shares photos of her meals on her other Instagram account, The Body Nation. Most of them consist of a protein, like grilled chicken or steak, paired with veggies, like spinach.

5. She Keeps Track of Her Progress

Josetty tracks her progress. Not only does she weigh herself every week, but takes all of her measurements. Not only is this a good way to know how far you have come, but also keeps you motivated to stay on track. "Our philosophy here is that no one size fits all," said Meridan Zerner, a dietitian, nutritionist and wellness coach at Cooper Clinic in Dallas, to the American Heart Association. "The majority of research would say weigh daily. But if there's any negative fallout from weighing every day in terms of outlook, self-esteem or your positive momentum, I would say we can check in once or twice a week."

1. She Uses Hand Weights

In this Instagram video, Cediel revealed some of her favorite workouts to her followers. In the video, she is seen doing lateral lifts, and dancing with the weights in her hands. She humorously captioned the video, “Who else gets confused exercising? Train, sing, dance, smile, repeat.” Here’s a quick handweight exercise from personal trainer Mark Langowski:

1 leg deadlift into biceps curl and shoulder press.

Men; use 12-20lb db’s, Women Use 5-10lb db’s.

“Grasp a dumbbell in each hand, palms facing inward. Standing on one leg, tilt at the waist, keeping your back from rounding, and lower your chest toward the floor until your back is parallel to the ground. Exhale as you slowly come up and, at the top of movement, curl the weights up to your shoulders, then press them overhead. Do 8 repetitions for each leg.”

2. She Swims

Cediel likes to go swimming. In fact, she recently received the exciting opportunity to go swimming with dolphins in Cabo San Lucas. She posted this photo and this video on Instagram of herself interacting with the dolphins in the water. “Water is significantly denser than air — by almost 800 times. That means you can build muscle strength as you move through water. One study found that a long-term water exercise program was actually more effective than working out on land to build muscle strength,” says the Mayo Clinic.

3. She Catches Some Rays

Twn minutes of sun can be good for you each day because it provides vitamin D. “Vitamin D is a nutrient your body needs for building and maintaining healthy bones,” says the Mayo Clinic. “That's because your body can only absorb calcium, the primary component of bone, when vitamin D is present. Vitamin D also regulates many other cellular functions in your body. Its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and neuroprotective properties support immune health, muscle function and brain cell activity.”

4. Love Yourself, She Urges

“Each of us has different purposes. Love yourself, respect yourself, value yourself and treat yourself as a priority. Don’t compare yourself. FOCUS ON YOU. Sow today so that tomorrow you will reap the fruits of your effort. Change your mentality, start the transformation from the inside and you will see how you reflect it outside,” she once captioned a post.

5. She Loves Her Father

“Today I am super emotional and I think that now I am finally going to talk about this thing that many of you have asked me about, my dad,” she said on air in 2021. He has Parkinson’s. “My dad has a lot of fans around here, I love him, he’s the best dad in the world….I think that many people who have a family member with special health conditions will understand me, I wanted to comment on this, until today I feel like sharing it and telling them that they definitely love their relatives, love their parents, children, cousins, someone who has a special health condition.”

1. Her Body Changes

Celebrity Sightings In London - March 18, 2023Justin Palmer/GC Images

Jessie understands that her body changes. “I've gone from religiously working out and being obsessed with what I eat to ACTUALLY living a life. I've been having so much fun eating out with friends, going to events, not revolving my days around a ‘healthy lifestyle,’” she said in one of her Instagram posts after gaining weight. “I'm happier, healthier and having more fun than ever. My body definitely looks different but that's okay!”

2. She Is Working On Her Relationship with Her Body

Jessie has been very candid about her body images struggles. “Make your insecurity your strength 💪🏼✨ I have spent so long harming and fighting against my body so I could look a certain way. I’ve tried every fad diet you could think of, spent hours on google trying to find the magic answer, I would do cardio for hours and hours each day- I even quit the job I loved so I could workout more 😣 All of this because I thought there was a problem with the way I looked.. The problem has never been my appearance, it’s been my mind,” she added in a 2020 Instagram post. “I have been trying to heal my relationship with food and my body image for a long time now and feel as though I’m starting to make progress. I still have a long way to go. I’m not necessarily happy with where I am, but I’m happy with how I’m learning to cope with when I feel uncomfortable. I’m working hard to make sure every time I pick out a flaw within myself I back it up with a compliment. I’ll look in the mirror and look at the size of my legs- my old reaction would be a breakdown.. Now I appreciate how strong they’ve become.”

3. She Has Made Fitness Her Job

“One of the best things I did for myself was getting qualified to work in the fitness industry with @theaipt 🙌🏼 Every day I get to see and help people who are motivated to become the best versions of themselves. Make it happen where it happens and make your move,” Jessie captioned a post.

4. She Hikes and Swims

Jessie loves hiking and treating herself to a swim in the ocean after. “Wholesome mornings with a spontaneous dip in the ocean,” she captioned a post. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

5. She Walks

Jessie also loves going on walks. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

6. She Jumps Back on the Exercise Bandwagon

Jessie is devoted to fitness, but sometimes slips away. “After months of feeling out of whack and inconsistently training, I’m on tha grind again,” she captioned a post. “Getting restarted after falling out of a fitness routine is so bloody hard. For me, one of the biggest barriers to getting back into it was feeling self conscious about the fact that I wasn’t as fit or in shape as I’d been in the past. No one starts at the top. You have to work your way up. Appreciate yourself at your strongest and your weakest because every phase is all part of the journey.”

7. She Hydrates

Jessie can often be found with a water bottle in hand. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout?
