Dunn revealed some of her favorite workouts and wellness secrets in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She says that one of her favorite ways to exercise is by going to a barre class. “At the moment, I'm doing a lot of barre training. Barre exercise is a mixture of yoga, Pilates and ballet. It uses really small movements but you are using muscles that you never knew existed, so it's really intense. It's all about sculpting and feeling stronger and more toned.”

2. She Loves To Box

Another way Dunn stays in shape is by boxing. She tells Harper’s Bazaar that her brother, who is a personal trainer, introduced her to boxing, and that she’s been a fan ever since. “My brother introduced me to boxing at Kobox, which is such a fun environment. I step into the ring, get my sweat on and feel more energised. It's a fun way for your mind and body to let out stress."

3. She’s Motivated By The Post-Workout Feeling

Everyone needs some form of motivation to workout. For Dunn, that motivation is how she feels after a long gym session. “I know that at the end of the work-out, I'm going to have benefited from it and I'll feel good about myself,” she tells Harper’s Bazaar. “I can't sit down and complain about my body and not do anything about it, so that's what motivates me."

4. She Does Low-Impact Workouts That Focus On One Area Of Her Body

Dunn’s personal trainer, Ashley Verma, opened up about the model’s fitness routine to Body & Soul. Verma says that Dunn likes to focus on certain areas of her body, and doesn’t do super intense workouts. “Jourdan is stunning and her body is strong and contoured in all the right spots, because that’s what we work on,” she says. "She doesn’t do anything drastic, she just holds herself accountable because she knows she’s going to be in front of the public eye."

5. She Does A Variety Of Different Exercises

Verma tells Body & Soul that Dunn likes to do a lot of different workouts. She says that when she does a session with the model, she makes sure to do something different. “Each session I do with her I change it up - abs, lower body or cardio, so when she leaves here she feels like she’s run a 10k,” Verma explained. "She does our Define Barre, Barre Balance and Define Power classes.”

6. She Does Workouts That She Likes

Dunn tells Harper’s Bazaar that one of her fitness secrets is doing exercises that she actually enjoys. “I feel there is no point working out if you're not trying to enjoy it,” she said. “When I'm exercising, I want to be enjoying what I am doing. I used to just go to the gym and use the machines which I liked, but I need other things, like boxing and Pilates, to keep me interested."

After Love Island, Higgins had a lot of opportunities. However, she tells The Independent that she learned that she had to take a break. “It was Michael Barrymore who gave me the advice. I was training for Dancing On Ice and he is a really, really lovely man. He knew by me that I was going through a bit of a time of it. I remember him saying to me, ‘You need to take a break because if these brands and everyone really do want you then they will wait for you.’ So I took his advice and it’s the best thing I ever did. And I would give the same advice to all the new Love Islanders.”

2. She’s Comfortable With Herself

Higgins tells The Independent that she has become a lot more comfortable with herself. “I am finally content. I am finally back to myself. Actually Mammy said it to me. It was about a year after Love Island, and I remember we had a FaceTime call, which we do every single day, and she started crying. And I said, ‘What’s happening? What’s wrong?’ And she said, ‘This is the first time I’ve seen you back to yourself.’”

5. She’s Honest

Higgins wants to be an inspiration for young girls. She tells the DailyMail that she doesn’t want to hide parts of herself and be authentic. “I put on Instagram a picture of my grey hairs and honestly the amount of messages I got from younger girls, girls in their early 20s saying ‘oh my God, thank you so much for this, I've never shown anyone my grey hair, I keep it a secret but now I feel like I'm going to embrace it and not be afraid.’”

Bebe Rexha is in Hawaii and it feels like we’re there with her. The singer (and actress, who appeared in Queenpins) has posted photos of herself relaxing and dancing on a boat, swimming next to a waterfall, posing like a model and joking around with Instagram filters. To paraphrase one of her songs, baby, I'm jealous of the pictures that you take. How does she stay so fit while having so much fun? Read on to see 7 ways Bebe Rexha stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s All About Body Positivity

“I was in Florida doing WWE Wrestlemania. The day I flew in, I had a little time off to go to the pool. I said to my manager, ‘Will you just take a video of me?’ I just wanna see what I look like. And when she played me back to the video, I said, I'm kind of, to me, it's okay to have a little moving parts and pieces and the little indentations—it's sexy to me. That's sexy. We were never really taught that. Like how to love ourselves and how to love imperfections,” she told Access Hollywood.

2. She Does Leg Day

"Time for legs," Rexha wrote in an Instagram Story chronicling her lower body workout. Smart choice. The largest muscles are in your lower body, and thus they burn the most fat. Your backside if the biggest source of myokines, which can do amazing things. Some help increase fat-burning in both the liver and skin tissue; others improve the function of the vascular system. Some improve the immune response; still others help our digestive system by improving communication between the pancreas and intestines. There’s even some evidence that myokines released through exercise may influence cancer cell growth.

3. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Bebe knows the value of a good sweat session. Here’s a perfect 4 minute workout for you to try at home: Perform burpees for 20 seconds. Don’t worry about counting reps—just set a timer and get as many as you can. Afterward, rest 10 seconds, and then repeat for four minutes. Over time, you can progress the length of the work interval, but keep the ratio of work to rest at two to one (so if you build up to doing burpees for 30 seconds, rest 15 seconds between sets).

4. This is “Key for Me”

62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards – Red CarpetEmma McIntyre/Getty Images

“I will say that sometimes when I’m really tired, and I don’t have time to wash my face, I have a little trick. It's actually something I learned from a makeup artist back when I worked in retail and sold perfume. He’s like, “Listen, if you’re super tired and you can’t even wash your face, and you just use a makeup wipe, the one thing you should still always do is moisturize.” So, sometimes when I’m really exhausted, I don’t really go in with the soap and water. I know it’s not the greatest, but I’ll just use a couple of face wipes and then moisturize my skin really well. That’s key for me!” she told WhoWhatWear.

5. She Was Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder

amfAR Gala Los Angeles 2021Ryan Emberley/Getty Images

“For the longest time, I didn’t understand why I felt so sick. Why I felt lows that made me not want to leave my house or be around people and why I felt highs that wouldn’t let me sleep, wouldn’t let me stop working or creating music. Now I know why,” she said on Twitter, revealing her bipolar diagnosis. “I was very fearful,” she told Self magazine. “I didn’t want to think there was something wrong with me.” “My mom would call it code red,” Rexha said. “A day before [my period started], I would feel like my world was ending ... I would get into these funks and be really depressed and not want to leave my house.”

"“That was my worst fear all my life: going crazy,” she told Self. “I felt like me opening up to my fans was me finally saying, ‘I’m not going to be imprisoned by this.’ And maybe it’ll make somebody not feel imprisoned, in that moment, if they feel like they’re going through a rough time. That’s why I decided to really open up and to free myself from that.”

Olivia Dunne is enjoying a little pool time as her Fall semester at LSU kicks in. The 19-year-old gymnast posted a photo of herself wearing a two-piece black swimsuit, captioning the shot, “Shell yea! @vuoriclothing.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Dunne stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Works Hard

“First, I wake up and go to the class, where I’m usually with my teammates. I study [at the communications center] and get schoolwork done,” Dunne tells the New York Post. “[After class] I come home, eat lunch and go right to the gym, where I train for hours. I have conditioning before or after practice, which takes place at football operations. Then, I go straight to the dining hall to eat dinner. After that, I come home [to my dorm] and do my work stuff at night. Making content is definitely time consuming. There’s 100s of takes and then you choose that perfect one for Instagram and TikTok. I probably take an hour or two to create content after practice. But some days I’m so busy, I can't do it all.”

2. She Loves To Surf

Dunne loves the water, and frequently posts pictures of herself surfing. “Surfing can definitely be considered a form of interval training which combines short, high intensity bursts of speed with a recovery phase, repeated during exercise training,” says CSUSM professor Dr. Sean Newcomer, who researches the health benefits of surfing. “Many surfers believe that while surfing is fun, it’s not necessarily a viable form of exercise on its own. This information has so far shown that surfing is very beneficial to the cardiovascular system and is a great part of a healthy lifestyle.”

3. She Scuba Dives

Dunne is fearless—the gymnast loves to scuba dive, sometimes even with sharks. "Seawater contains minerals such as magnesium, sodium, calcium, chloride, and sulfate that have natural benefits for the body," says Abe Malkin, MD. "Magnesium helps moisturize the skin and reduces inflammation. People with skin [issues] like eczema or dryness are recommended to take regular baths in salted solutions or swim in the sea."

4. She Enjoys Swimming

Dunne loves to swim, especially in the ocean. ”Swimming is the fourth most popular sports activity in the United States and a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity,” says the CDC. “Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. This can also lead to improved health for people with diabetes and heart disease. Swimmers have about half the risk of death compared with inactive people. People report enjoying water-based exercise more than exercising on land. They can also exercise longer in water than on land without increased effort or joint or muscle pain.”

5. She Loves Meeting New People

2022 ESPYs - ArrivalsAxelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

Dunne enjoys making new friends, and subverting their expectations of her. “I feel like people can look at me and be like, ‘Oh, she always posts pictures of herself. She’s that gymnast.’ But, whenever I meet new people, they’re always surprised, like, ‘Oh, I didn’t think you talk that much,’ or, ‘I didn’t know you were this friendly.’ I love meeting new people, I really do,” she says.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is "More Motivated Than Ever"

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video.
