Joy Taylor is one of the most well-known female sports reporters. She currently hosts Speak on FOX Sports 1. She also previously appeared as a sports anchor on The Herd with Colin Cowherd and Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. Taylor recently enjoyed a beach day, and got some photos for Instagram. In a recent post, she sat on the beach in a blue patterned bikini. Taylor captioned the post, “Pit stop in the sunshine.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Joy Taylor stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Puts Effort In

Taylor makes sure to put effort into what she wants. She says that this was the best advice she’d ever received in an interview on Scoop Du Jour. Taylor says that she went through a period in her life where she was only applying 10% of energy to her goals, and wasn’t getting anywhere, when a friend of hers encouraged her to work harder. “10% is not a lot, it’s barely anything at all,” she remembers. “It was my lightbulb moment.

2. She Prepares

Taylor opened up about being a live reporter in an interview with the Get My Job podcast. She says that she always makes sure that she is prepared for shows. “When you learn what's the best way to prep for you, then everything becomes much easier and you feel more comfortable,” Taylor explains. “I liken it to taking a test, right? Like when we were in school, if you prepare for the tests, you're not nervous cuz you truly know the material. You've taken the time, you've studied, you've gone over cards or however it is you would prepare for tests. If you cram you don't feel good about it, you're rushing through it, you don't feel confidence, you're probably making mistakes, and you don't do as well as you could have done. And essentially when you're doing a live show or you're doing a daily show, or you're doing a podcast or a radio show reporter, whatever it is, you're kind of taking a verbal exam.”

3. She Pays Attention To What She Has To Do

Throughout Taylor’s career, she always made sure to pay attention to what she had to do for a job. She tells Get My Job that this helped her move forward with her career. “I think it's important that while you're building towards and pushing towards and talking about the role that you want, that you're absorbing the experience in the role that you have,” she says. “You will use the skills that you are obtaining in your current position at your next step and within your next opportunity. And a lot of times if you get an opportunity you're not ready for. Then you can blow it because you weren't absorbing the experience and getting the reps and really understanding what this level of the business, whatever level you're on, what that can do to enhance you in the future.”

4. She Speaks Out

Taylor isn’t afraid of speaking out about causes that are important to her. She shared this video on Instagram of herself showing support to women who speak up about sexual assault. Taylor captioned the post, “To the women who are suffering in silence, I see you and I feel you. When it comes to anything related to women, the court of public opinion is, you’re lying until you prove to us you deserve dignity, let alone justice.”

5. She Swims

As you can see from her recent Instagram post, Taylor spends a lot of time at the beach. She likes to swim as a way to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself swimming in the ocean. She captioned it, “Golden Hour in Heaven.” Taylor also posted this vacation highlight reel, which included her wading in the ocean. She captioned that post, “Part 1 of my trip to the Exhumas, Bahamas.”

Joy Taylor is heating up sunny Florida in her swimsuit. In one of her latest social media posts, the FSI host shows off her incredible body while vacationing at The Boca Raton. “Was a proper Saturday,” she captioned the steamy hot set of Instagram images shared with her 630,000-plus followers. How does the gorgeous celebrity keep herself fit and healthy? Celebwell has compiled a list of some of her healthiest habits.

1. She Hydrates

Joy makes sure to hydrate. Here she is on a tropical vacation drinking straight from a coconut. “Coconut water,” she captioned the swimsuit snap. According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.

2. She Drinks Red Wine

Joy drinks red wine on occasion. “Red wine, in moderation, has long been thought of as heart healthy,” says the Mayo Clinic. “The alcohol and certain substances in red wine called antioxidants may help prevent coronary artery disease, the condition that leads to heart attacks.”

3. She Swims

As you can see from her recent Instagram post, Taylor spends a lot of time at the beach and in the water. In this video she swims in the ocean. "Golden Hour in Heaven," she captioned it. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.

4. She Walks

Joy is a walker. During a recent trip to South Africa, she put on her walking shoes and hit the pavement. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

5. She Hikes

Joy also goes on hikes. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems

1. She Loves Plant Based Burgers

Miller loves to eat plant-based foods on occasion. Specifically, she loves to make plant-based burgers, and has tried them made from jackfruit. Eating plant-based foods has a lot of health benefits. According to the MD Anderson Center at the University of Texas, “Plants have essential nutrients that you cannot get from other foods. The vitamins and minerals, phytochemicals and antioxidants in plants help keep your cells healthy and your body in balance so that your immune system can function at its best.”

2. She Swims

London Celebrity Sightings - August 26, 2021Ricky Vigil/GC Images

Miller loves to go to the pool and to the beach, specifically to go for a swim. She has posted several photos and videos on Instagram of herself enjoying a dip in the water. Swimming and spending time in the water is a great way to stay active. BetterHealth.gov says, “Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.”

3. She Gets Outside

Miller spends a lot of time outside, and loves to get fresh air and time in the sunshine. She has posted several photos on Instagram of herself enjoying time outdoors. Spending time outside doesn’t just help our bodies, it can also help relax us and help with our mental health. According to UNC Health Talk, “Walking has been proven effective in reducing anxiety and depression, and there is further evidence that walking in nature improves those results even further. That’s because different parts of our brain activate in nature. Our mind calms, leading to physical changes including a reduction in heart rate and blood pressure.”

4. She Loves Hot Tubs

London Celebrity Sightings - October 21, 2021Ricky Vigil M/GC Images

In addition to the pool and the ocean, Miller loves to spend time in a hot tub or jacuzzi. She posted this stunning photo on Instagram, captioning it, “On Sundays we hot tub.” Hot tubs aren’t just a great way to relax, they can also help you recover from pain or injuries. According to a study from Myra.org, “Soaking in warm water often can help reduce your pain and stiffness and the benefits. There are many reasons soaking in warm water works. It reduces the force of gravity that’s compressing your joint. Water offers 360-degree support for sore limbs, can decrease swelling and inflammation and increase circulation.”

5. She Once Went Cliff Diving

Miller is up for trying new things, and is up for a good adrenaline rush. She previously has gone cliff diving. On the Showtime hit series Yellowjackets, every one of the young stars is a breakout. But one may look more familiar than others: Ella Purnell has been working since age 9, appearing in films like Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Army of the Dead, as well as the TV series Sweetbitter. Now, the 25-year-old Brit (yes, she’s British!) is finally getting the mega-fans she deserves. And she took a trip to Barbados to decompress. “I made my mum take these,” she captioned some photos of her in a blue bathing suit. “STOP IT,” commented her costar Sophie Nélisse. “Stop. STOOOP.” Added Melanie Lynskey, also of the show: “Hahaha (also GOOD LORD you are gorgeous!!!)” Read on to see 5 ways Ella Purnell stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Works Out, Sometimes With Her Mom

“Working out with mama!” Purnell captioned a pic of the two in a gym. “Exercise and physical activity can be enjoyable. They give you a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities that make you happy. Physical activity can also help you connect with family or friends in a fun social setting,” says the Mayo Clinic. “So take a dance class, hit the hiking trails or join a soccer team. Find a physical activity you enjoy, and just do it. Bored? Try something new, or do something with friends or family.”

2. She Trained for an Action Movie

Vulture Festival 2021David Livingston/Getty Images

For the movie Army of the Dead: “I went to the gym and did boxing lessons with my stepdad, but I’m just not that way inclined. I’ve got the upper-body strength of a spoon and I’m not very coordinated. I’d get told off because if I try to look cool, I’m doing something else weird with my limbs. When I was running, if I’m holding my gun with one hand, I’m doing gun hands with the other [laughs]. We spent time with these two nice ex-army dudes. They taught us how to shoot, move as a team and have each other’s backs,” she told Vogue.

3. Here are Sage Words About Mental Health

Premiere Of Showtime's "Yellowjackets"Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images

“I didn’t realise that with this support system that I’ve relied on to be there for me—my friends and family who love me and who I love—sometimes you have to tell them you love them. Now what I’m finding interesting is choosing how to spend my time and the people I surround myself with, and how that has a direct impact on my mental health. I had some big talks this year. I’ve got friends of 15 years and we haven’t had a deep conversation in five or six years. Time doesn’t stop like that very often and it won’t stop in the future, so it’s about taking that time out to do that,” she told Vogue.

4. This Was Her Comfort During the Early Days of the Pandemic

White,Chocolate,And,Raspberry,MuffinShutterstock

“White chocolate and raspberry muffins! [laughs] I was based in Los Angeles for the majority of lockdown. I was reading through my journal a couple of nights ago, and I was like, ‘Wow!’ I grew up. A lot of stuff went down in my personal life and I had to find hobbies. I’ve been working since I was nine years old. I feel like I was sort of deficient in other parts of my life. My relationships got stronger. I discovered that I love plants, painting and writing poetry. I went camping for a month in California, Nevada, Arizona and Utah. I learned a lot about myself and overcame some demons,” she told Vogue.

5. Here’s Her Take on Jackie and Shauna’s Relationship

On Yellowjackets, Purnell’s character and ’s character has an intense relationship, sharing secrets but hiding others, supportive while also undermining. "I think Jackie and Shauna are in deep-friend love…. Maybe some of the dynamics between them are a little more complicated because there’s a lot of jealousy and possession and codependence. And that comes up a lot in female friendships."

Samantha Hanratty, best known as teen Misty on the Showtime smash series Yellowjackets, is nearly unrecognizable in real life. Gone is the blond, curly wig and glasses, dorky clothes and the disease to please, embodied by her rather unstable character. Instead, she’s got straight hair, a confident gaze and a fit figure. It’s a testament to her performance, and the transformation is evident in her latest post, a swimsuit photo. “First beach day of the new year,” she captioned it. How does Hanratty, 26, stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Samantha Hanratty stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She’s a Vegan

Hanratty is a vegan in real life. “We would be on set, I would be eating the ‘meat’”—on the show, about a group of teenage plane crash survivors, the characters eat deer and…possibly one another—“and then would get back to my trailer and then there would be a Beyond Meat sandwich and that was like every day for five months,” she told Page Six. How can you keep vegan? “Vegan diets exclude meat, poultry, fish, eggs and dairy products — and foods that contain these products,” says the Mayo Clinic. “Choose a variety of healthy plant-based foods, such as whole fruits and vegetables, legumes and nuts, and whole grains. At the same time, cut back on less healthy choices, such as sugar-sweetened beverages, fruit juices and refined grains.”

2. She Says She Would Not Be Able to Survive Two Weeks in the Woods

Hanratty said she wouldn’t last long in the woods. “I’m vegan and allergic to everything, so I’m already at a major disadvantage,” she told Page Six. “If I had a foraging book I think I would be OK. I could live…I think I could survive two weeks, but I would not be happy. I would have lost my…marbles. I definitely would come back being not OK, not OK in the slightest.” She added: “I seriously feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be a part of this show and playing this amazing character,” Hanratty has said.

3. She Always Wanted the Spotlight

Vulture Festival 2021David Livingston/Getty Images

“I just knew I wanted to entertain,” she told Christina Ricci, who plays the older Misty, in a conversation in Interview. “I’m the youngest of five girls and I probably wanted the spotlight, but I told my parents, ‘I want to be on TV like Shirley Temple,’ and my mom finally gave in when I turned six. I kept begging and then she finally sent my picture to an agency and they called the next week. I had an audition for a commercial and booked it, and it just was meant to be. My mom is still waiting for me to leave it behind. She supports me, but she also says, ‘Whenever you want to stop, go ahead and stop.’”

4. She Saw a Therapist While Shooting

Premiere Of Showtime's "Yellowjackets"Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images

“I don’t think we’ve talked about this, but I was seeing a therapist while I was in Canada, and that was something that we discussed. I was definitely treated differently when I was in hair and makeup and wardrobe,” she told Ricci in Interview. “I got more self-conscious, and my walk even changed a bit. I just felt like a bigger target, you know, as a person.” If you’re considering therapy, ask yourself a few queations first. “Are you looking for individual, relationship or family therapy?” Dawn Potter, PsyD, says to the Cleveland Clinic. “You need to consider if you’re looking for treatment for a specific problem that requires a specialist,” she continues. “Maybe you’re just looking for general growth. That decision will also determine what kind of therapist and what qualifications you’re looking for.”

5. She Has Streamed Her Workouts

Hanratty has streamed herself on Twitch working out. In one video, she’s got a simple yoga mat and some free weights, and does exercises that work her core, back and upper body. (It was part of a fundraiser.) “You can do core-strength exercises on a carpeted floor or mat. Breathe freely and deeply during each core-strength exercise. Focus on tightening your transversus abdominis, the deepest abdominal muscle and the one you feel contracting when you cough, says the Mayo Clinic. Want to hear about how her teammates stay fit? Don’t miss the swimsuits and stories from fellow Yellowjackets stars Ella Purnell, Sophie Thatcher, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Sophie Nélisse.

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker.
