Find a Creative Outlet
Julia is an artist, actress, and writer. "I expressed my creativity through anything I picked up, even if it was a Lego. My father always recognized that in me, that I was an abstract thinker, and he always really pushed me to create things and write," she told The Coveteur.
Find a Low Calorie Guilty Pleasure
Julia has one guilty pleasure, and it happens to be tiny and low-calorie. "I always have a pack on me," she told New York Magazine about orange Tic Tacs. "I can buy the 200-pack at 7-Eleven and run through them in a day. It's kind of disgusting, but I love them. They're tangy, and they taste incredible."
Don't Feel Guilty About Indulging
Julia has another favorite sweet treat: Magnum Double-Caramel Ice-Cream Bars. "I'm obsessed," she confessed to New York Magazine. "It has a layer of chocolate and then a layer of caramel and then another layer of chocolate and then it's vanilla ice cream. It's so good. I could have like three at a time. I don't have one every day, but maybe once a week. Magnums are very popular in Italy and, growing up, I spent a lot of time there. I'm Italian. I just picked one up, and it's been a lifelong love affair ever since."
Keep Your Social LIfe Healthy
In her younger years you could find Julia hitting the nightclubs. However, after a near-fatal overdose at 17 she opted to close the door on that part of her life. "Growing up in New York, you start going out really young. I was 14 years old in clubs, you know? By the time I was 18, I was tired. It just got boring and repetitive. I already knew what the night would be like — it just wasn't fulfilling to me anymore. It was this really cheap thrill that I had become immune to," she told Paper. "I really never go out unless it's an event or I have to," she continued. "I do enjoy myself. Sometimes I really have to push myself to socialize because I can tend to be reclusive and do the isolation thing, but I do love interacting and meeting cool people. I just find that anyone I've ever met at a club never really stayed in my life or impacted me in any way. It's always been the people I met in the day."
Stay Focused on the Important Things in LIfe
Julia doesn't let things like fame get in the way of living. "Yeah, I mean, people love to hate someone ris[ing] up—people love to knock you down. But I'm not that emotionally invested in it. I don't really care what happens," she told The Coveteur.
Eat Tasty Food
You won't find Julia eating bland and boring food. She told The Coveteur that her favorite restaurant is an Argentinian place in New York called El Almacen. "It's incredible! I never go to Brooklyn, you can't pay me to, but I'll crave it in the middle of the night and just go. They have incredible corn empanadas—my mouth is watering just thinking about it," she said.
Avoid Stressful Relationships
Julia, who famously appeared with Kanye West earlier this year, reveals that she couldn't stay in the relationship because it was too stressful. "It just wasn't sustainable,"she told The New York Times. "I lost, like, 15 pounds in that month."
