She Focuses On Her Diet

San Jose is open about her struggles with her health. Mainly, her struggles with over-exercising in the past. She tells Pep.ph that she currently just focuses on what she eats, instead of fitness. "I used to do a lot of Muay Thai and then a lot of cardio, and then I just decided to stop it, and just focus on what I eat." "Minimize saturated fats. These artery-clogging fats have been linked to increased risk of heart disease. The American Heart Association recommends that saturated fats account for no more than 5% to 6% of your total daily calories," says the Cleveland Clinic.

She Bikes

While San Jose focuses more on her diet, she does make sure to have some go-to workouts. San Jose makes sure to get her blood flowing with some cardio workouts. She tells GMA Network that she has one favorite kind. "Usually cycling lang," she says. "I go on a stationary bike."

She Doesn't Deprive Herself

For San Jose, diet is all about balance. She tells Pep.ph that she mostly eats healthy. However, she also says that she doesn't like to deny herself anything she likes. "I eat everything like rice, bread, carbs—everything," she says. "I never deprive myself naman with food. I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables."

She Gets Enough Sleep

San Jose makes sure to get enough sleep, no matter how packed her schedule is. She says to Pep.ph that she aims to get a full night's sleep each night. "Despite being busy or given my hectic schedules, I still manage to sleep six to eight hours a day," she says. "I sleep a lot." "Too little sleep — even for just one night — can leave you dealing with several unpleasant cognitive effects:

  • Irritability.
  • Daytime sleepiness.
  • Slowed reaction time.
  • Reduced focus and concentration.
  • Problems with memory and attention.

She Stays Hydrated

Another big part of San Jose's wellness routine is staying hydrated. She says to Pep.ph that she makes sure to drink enough water each day. "And hydrate," she says. "I drink at least a liter of water each day."
