1

She Stretches Every Morning

Being a dancer, Hauer has to keep her body in shape. She spilled some of her exercise and diet secrets in an interview with Women Fitness. She says that one of the first things she does each day is stretch after breakfast. "I do a good morning stretch. Even if it's just for ten or fifteen minutes it's a good, grounding starts to the day."

2

She Switches Up Her Workouts

For Hauer, working out and stretching is all about variety. "I think it's important because it means your body and muscles have variation and time to recover as well as the mental aspect," she explained to Women Fitness. "You don't want to be doing the same thing over and over, you will get bored and likely stop feeling excited about the prospect of working out."

3

She Eats A Balanced Diet

Hauer tells Women Fitness that she believes in eating a balanced diet. She says that she keeps her diet healthy, but also doesn't deny herself a treat if she wants it. "I always listen to my body when it comes to how I eat and I eat whatever it's telling me I need to eat. I eat pretty simple, whole nutrient dense foods, but I always love my bagels and doughnuts! I don't deny myself a treat if I want it."

4

She Takes Vitamins

In an interview with Women's Fitness, Hauer revealed that she likes to take vitamins to help herself stay healthy. "As a professional dancer, you have to respect your body and feed it well, not live on air. I swear by vitamins. I take turmeric and magnesium to help keep my bones strong."

5

She Used An Injury To Reset Herself

Last year, Hauer suffered an injury that forced her to bow out of the most recent season of Strictly Come Dancing. While it was hard for her, she tells Women's Fitness that it also helped reset her body and her mental wellbeing. "That injury forced me to stop, to slow down and acted like a reset button for me. I still have physio daily but it meant, after the break from dancing, I was able to come back to work feeling the best version of myself ever. I think I came to terms with the fact that as I am getting older, my body will have its knocks and that it is just part of change."
