1. She’s True To Herself

Karol is all about authenticity. She says that she always stays true to herself, no matter where her career goes. Karol thinks that this is how she has had so much success. “When I started, I tried to please others,” she says to Billboard. “Now, I’m me. I talk about what I want in my songs, I dress how I want to dress, and I believe that when I decided to show myself as I am, people really connected with me.”
2. She Breaks The Rules
Karol doesn’t follow rules. She breaks them. She was even awarded the “Rule Breaker” award from Billboard. “Breaking the rules has long been the foundation of my project,” Karol told Billboard in her accepting interview. “If we’re going to work with a brand, for instance, what are we going to do that’s completely different?”
3. She Does Difficult Workouts

Karol makes sure to workout on a consistent basis, no matter how busy she gets. She tells People that she does a lot of intense exercises. “I do workout circuits. If there is a great gym at the hotel then I'll lift weights, but we usually bring our own elastic bands. My training is more focused on CrossFit.”
4. She Isn’t Too Strict

Karol opened up about her diet and eating habits to People. She says that while she tries to eat healthy, she doesn’t restrict herself too much. “I don't like diets that are extremely strict,” she says. “I will eat a nice steak with mash potatoes and veggies. You have to have a balance. I have an insulin problem and maintaining a good weight for me is super stressful.”
5. She Cuts Out Certain Things
While Karol doesn’t put herself on a strict diet, she does cut out or limit things. She revealed her eating secrets to People. “I don't eat any desserts, I reduce dairy products, and eat Greek yogurt with granola only twice a week. I don't eat fast food like burgers.”
