Karolina Pajączkowska has traveled to 39 countries and 5 continents so far and she’s still on the move. Pajączkowska is sharing photos from a trip to Thailand, waxing lyrical about the beauty of the country. “Another day, another fairy tale place 🤩 Mu Ko Ang Thong is a marine national park that consists of more than 40 islands. We managed to see two 😅 During a dozen days in Thailand we visited a total of 6 islands, which means there's still some left,” she captioned a picture of herself wearing a pink swimsuit, posing against a gorgeous backdrop. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Pajączkowska stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Canoeing and Kayaking

Karolina.PajączkowskaKarolina Pajączkowska/Ins

Pajączkowska loves being outdoors, enjoying hobbies such as kayaking with her family. “Physical activity is essential for healthy development and adopting physical activity habits early in life will increase the likelihood of children remaining physically active as adults. Participating in family physical activities helps children gain life skills as well as health benefits. For example, family physical activity can assist your child in learning teamwork, leadership skills, and quality decision-making,” say Nadia Hashemi-Toroghi, David Frisch, Courtney Novotny, & Jennifer Waldron, Ph.D. from the University of Northern Iowa.

2. Home Cooking

Cooking at home is important to Pajączkowska, and experts say it has many health benefits. "When cooking, you’re a part of the meal process from start to finish — the grocery store to the plate,” says nutritional counselor Sarah Jacobs. It makes you far more in tune with the food you’re putting into your system."

3. Skiing

Skis,In,Snow,At,MountainsShutterstock

Pajączkowska loves to hit the slopes on a regular basis. “When you ski you carry the weight of your entire body on your feet,” says the University of New Hampshire. “Your knees are the joints that endure that weight and must be able to move quickly despite it, so they are being strengthened when you ski. Great news for those that have been skiing for many years; you’ve been strengthening those joints and making an injury later in life less likely the whole time. In addition to strengthening your knees your bones become stronger as well because skiing is a weight bearing activity.”

4. Horseback Riding

Pajączkowska’s social media shows her horseback riding while on her travels. A study from the British Horse Society found that horseback riding offers many health benefits. “A number of positive feelings were strongly associated with horse riding by respondents,” the report says. “More than 90 percent of respondents reported that horse riding made them feel ‘quite a lot’ or ‘extremely’ cheerful and the equivalent figure is in excess of 80 percent for feeling relaxed, happy and active.”

5. She Loves Coffee

Pajączkowska loves to start the day with delicious coffee. “Both regular and decaf coffee seem to have a protective effect on your liver,” says Johns Hopkins Medicine. “Research shows that coffee drinkers are more likely to have liver enzyme levels within a healthy range than people who don’t drink coffee.”

1. She Eats “Everything”

Karolina counts calories but doesn’t avoid anything in particular. “For almost my entire career I had a gluten-free diet, no lactose, I practically did not eat cheese at all … But now I am at such a stage in my life that I think that you need to have a balance and today I eat everything. I went through draconian diets – I will not do it again, I learned from my mistakes. Right now I only look at my caloric balance and this is how I eat it all,” she revealed in an interview.

2. She Does Cardio Every Day

Karolina tries to move daily. “Regeneration is also very important. When I feel like laziness, I feel like laziness and I don’t feel guilty about it. However, as a rule, I am practically every day at the gym. At least I do cardio because it is not known if I will have a lot of exercise during the day or not. For example, when I have a shooting schedule all day, I think that my cardio is a shooting schedule, because there is a lot going on there and I change clothes a lot,” she said.

3. She Does Aerial Yoga

But there are so many other benefits to strength training, including increased endurance and bone density, which is especially important to fight diseases like osteoporosis," says the Cleveland Clinic.

5. She Gets Up Early

“I am the morning bird,” Karolina revealed in an interview. “Every day I get up at 6.00 or 6.30 am. At 10 p.m., forget about going anywhere, because I’m a corpse and I’m just sitting in slippers with tea and just waiting for me to fall asleep.” What are the health benefits of sleep? According to the Sleep Foundation, getting enough z’s is a mood booster, promotes heart health, regulates blood sugar, improves mental function, restores your immune system, helps relieve stress, and aids in weight loss.

1. She Loves Snorkeling

Paleta is a big fan of ocean activities like snorkeling and swimming. “Research has shown that being near, in, on or under water can provide a long list of benefits for our mind and body, including lowering stress and anxiety, increasing an overall sense of well-being and happiness, a lower heart and breathing rate, and safe, better workouts, says marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols. “Aquatic therapists are increasingly looking to the water to help treat and manage PTSD, addiction, anxiety disorders, autism and more.”

2. She Takes Baths

As a busy mother of two, Paleta loves nothing better than relaxing in a bath. “Taking baths has great physical and mental health benefits,” says family medicine provider Amy Zack, MD. “Baths help many people sleep well,” notes Dr. Zack. “They also create a good environment for meditation, thought and escape from everyday stressors.”

3. She Likes To Kayak

Paleta enjoys kayaking in the ocean, something experts say has many health benefits. “The term ‘blue mind’ describes the mildly meditative state we fall into when near, in, on or under water,” says Nichols. “It’s the antidote to what we refer to as ‘red mind,’ which is the anxious, over-connected and over-stimulated state that defines the new normal of modern life. Research has proven that spending time near the water is essential to achieving an elevated and sustained happiness.”

4. She Takes Collagen Supplements

Premio Iberoamericano De Cine Fenix 2016 - Red CarpetVictor Chavez/WireImage

Paleta takes collagen supplements as part of her wellness regimen. “Many people don’t realize that adding collagen to your diet can also help in reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks,” says Amy Myers, MD. “When skin loses its elasticity and becomes thin, cellulite becomes more obvious. Collagen benefits your skin by increasing moisture retention, boosting elasticity, and helping to smooth out that dimpled appearance.”

5. Granola With Fresh Fruit For Breakfast

Paleta enjoys a bowl of granola with fresh fruit for breakfast. “Research suggests eating a wide variety of plant foods – ideally 30 different foods a week – is key to promoting a diverse range of beneficial gut bacteria,” says registered nutritionist Nicola Shubrook. “Granola is made up of a number of ingredients including oats, nuts, seeds and dried fruit. These ingredients are rich in dietary fibre and plant compounds called polyphenols which studies indicate have beneficial effects on the diversity of our gut microbes.”

Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
