Pajączkowska loves being outdoors, enjoying hobbies such as kayaking with her family. "Physical activity is essential for healthy development and adopting physical activity habits early in life will increase the likelihood of children remaining physically active as adults. Participating in family physical activities helps children gain life skills as well as health benefits. For example, family physical activity can assist your child in learning teamwork, leadership skills, and quality decision-making," say Nadia Hashemi-Toroghi, David Frisch, Courtney Novotny, & Jennifer Waldron, Ph.D. from the University of Northern Iowa.

Cooking at home is important to Pajączkowska, and experts say it has many health benefits. "When cooking, you're a part of the meal process from start to finish — the grocery store to the plate," says nutritional counselor Sarah Jacobs. It makes you far more in tune with the food you're putting into your system."

Pajączkowska loves to hit the slopes on a regular basis. "When you ski you carry the weight of your entire body on your feet," says the University of New Hampshire. "Your knees are the joints that endure that weight and must be able to move quickly despite it, so they are being strengthened when you ski. Great news for those that have been skiing for many years; you've been strengthening those joints and making an injury later in life less likely the whole time. In addition to strengthening your knees your bones become stronger as well because skiing is a weight bearing activity."

Horseback Riding

Pajączkowska's social media shows her horseback riding while on her travels. A study from the British Horse Society found that horseback riding offers many health benefits. "A number of positive feelings were strongly associated with horse riding by respondents," the report says. "More than 90 percent of respondents reported that horse riding made them feel 'quite a lot' or 'extremely' cheerful and the equivalent figure is in excess of 80 percent for feeling relaxed, happy and active."

She Loves Coffee

Pajączkowska loves to start the day with delicious coffee. "Both regular and decaf coffee seem to have a protective effect on your liver," says Johns Hopkins Medicine. "Research shows that coffee drinkers are more likely to have liver enzyme levels within a healthy range than people who don't drink coffee."
