The actress, fitness, and wellness entrepreneur is living her fittest life at 42, and her best friends can attest to it. On Friday, Kate shared a fun clip on Instagram showing off her flexibility in addition to her totally flat abs which she flaunted in a crop top and workout pants. “So happy for you that you are more fit than ever. 1. She Joined Weight Watchers
Kate has always been devoted to fitness and health, but majorly comitted to getting back into shape after welcoming her third child by not only joining WW, but signing on as an ambassador. "My struggle is not in weight loss, Mine is about staying healthy, trying to stay focused and balanced," she told the Today Show. "One of the things about this re-imagining of WW is it's not just about weight, it's about wellness. To me, it's all about support. ... Everyone's looking to how do you get motivated, how do you stay motivated?"
2. She Exercises Almost Every Single Day

Kate knows that consistency is key when it comes to exercise. "Now that Rani is getting a little bit older and her nap schedule is longer, I've been able to work out at least 30 minutes a day, maybe five times a week,” she told InStyle. “I make sure that I don't go a day without doing something for 30 minutes. I've been doing that since April and I've noticed enormous changes in my body."
3. She Switches Up Her Workouts
"I do everything. I have to switch it up, I get so bored," she told InStyle when asked about her go-to workout. She often uses apps—including Obé yoga apps, like Glo, and Body by Simone and Tracy Anderson's app. “I love my Peloton. I love Pilates — that's always been my number one," she added.
4. She’s a Devoted Yogi
Kate has always been a yogi. "It's about understanding your own individual likes, not fads," she previously told SELF about her yoga practice. Transcendental meditation and Kundalini yoga are two of her favorite types. "Anything you do helps. You could sit there and not think of your mantra for your whole practice, but you're still benefiting.”
5. She’s Ab Obsessed

Kate attributes her flats abs to the fact that she works them hard. “I’m an ab [workout] fanatic,” Kate told Well + Good about her focus area, “and I hate [doing] them.” Stability ball crunches help keep her midsection tight. “I’ve had a C-section, and I think any woman who has had a C-section knows how hard it is to re-engage that lower part of your abs,” she explained. “My C-section was 16 years ago, but if I go a few days without doing abs, my brain has a hard time re-engaging that area.”
6. She Does Intermittent Fasting

Kate told Women's Health that she is a fan of intermittent fasting, as it helps improve her energy. “It’s not for everyone,” she says. In the morning she drinks only celery juice, coffee, or tea, and waits until 11 or 11:30 a.m. to start solid food.
