Hudson waits to eat breakfast, preferring celery juice first thing. "First thing I do when I wake up is I stare at the wall and I think to myself, 'Am I going to get up now? Or am I going to get up 50-minutes from now? Or am I just going to go back to sleep?' And then I drink water,” she says. “I do not eat first thing in the morning. The first thing I do in the morning is I have celery juice. And if anybody does celery juice on an empty stomach they know why—cause it's a joyous morning activity."

Hudson has two go-to breakfasts. "A typical breakfast for me would be... Well, there's two typical breakfasts,” she says. “One is two soft-boiled eggs with some sourdough and butter and avocado with olive oil and sea salt. But I don't do eggs every day. Then, I'll do an oatmeal with like almond butter and banana and maybe some blueberries, some maple syrup, cinnamon, chia seeds. Maybe some walnuts in there or maybe more almonds. Walnuts are—I feel like they're underrated. I feel like more people use almonds or cashews but a walnut? A walnut in your oatmeal is really yummy."

Hudson incorporates a variety of different exercises into her workout regimen, and tries to work out for at least half an hour most days. “I’ve been switching up from the softer stuff, like Pilates and yoga, to more aggressive activities like TRX and boxing. I really enjoy sweating it out, and it helps me clear my mind,” she says. “It’s not just about trying to look good physically, it’s important to get oxygen to my brain and feel like my blood is really circulating. I love skiing, walking, hiking and especially riding my bike. It makes me feel like a kid again!”
4. Roast Chicken and Rice

Hudson’s favorite meal to cook at home is a roast nutmeg chicken with white rice. “Chicken and turkey are high-satiety, protein foods that are great for weight loss,” says Franziska Spritzler, RD, CDE. “Indeed, all types of poultry have excellent protein percentages! However, leaner cuts (light meat) generally provide the most protein per calorie. You’ll also get a nice dose of vitamins and minerals with that protein whether you choose light or dark meat.”
5. Oat Milk Ice Cream
Hudson loves ice cream made of oak milk, which experts say offers health benefits. "It contains soluble fiber, which slows digestion, keeps you full longer, reduces cholesterol and can stabilize blood sugars," says Lisa DeFazio, MS, RD. "Compared to cow's milk and soy milk it has less protein," DeFazio says. "But compared to almond, cashew, coconut, and rice milk, it has more protein."
