Former Big Brother winner and radio DJ Kate Lawler recently got married. And she's having a great time on her honeymoon. Lawler just posted a series of highlights on her Instagram. The couple went to Lago Como, and spent time in the pool, enjoyed ice cream and nights out. "Honeymoon Part 1 … 😍 How was our wedding a whole week ago? 🤯 It's been a rollercoaster seven days since. We've certainly not had the honeymoon we expected to have (more on stories later 😂🤢💊) but despite catching Noa's sickness bug and being on antibiotics for an infection, we managed to go out for dinner twice, sunbathe yesterday, go for a walk today and play connect four by the lake, like an old, retired married couple. 🙌👵🏼👴🏼♥️ At least it happened now and not on our wedding day, so that's something to be grateful for. 🙏🏼🙂." She Believes In Moderation

Lawler broke down her wellness secrets to Express. She says that she doesn't like to restrict herself when it comes to food. Lawler says that moderation is the way to go. "I'm conscious of eating healthily, but I believe that you can have everything in moderation," she says. "By cutting back on carbohydrates, you can still eat too many calories. Also, if you reduce the variety of foods in your diet, you could exclude vital nutrients or not be able to stay on the diet over time. She Eats Little Meals Often

Lawler tells Express what her approach to eating is. She says that she likes to eat little things often throughout the day. She also says that she doesn't eat late at night. "I also eat little and often, and try not to eat after 8pm," she revealed.

She Stays Hydrated

In addition to eating a healthy diet, staying hydrated is important to Lawler. She tells Express, "I've learnt that drinking at least two litres of water a day will make your skin clearer and also keep hunger at bay. A lot of people think they're hungry, yet they're just dehydrated. I've never drunk fizzy drinks -only water. All-day, every day."

She Walks

Lawler makes sure to get her steps in. She tells Express that her main form of fitness is, "Dog walking seven days a week. I do at least 10K walking including commuting a day. It's the best fat burner. Even if you don't have a dog! Get up, do a 30-60 min power on the street or park."

She Uses Lemon On Her Skin

For Lawler, lemons aren't just fruit. In an interview with LifeStyleLinked, Lawler revealed that she uses lemons on her skin. "To get a good glow I cut a lemon in half and rub the inside of it all over my face first thing in the morning, and leave for 10 minutes," she explained. "It tingles, but it definitely puts colour into my cheeks!"
