Silverton took advantage of the pandemic lockdowns to really focus on her health. "I was either going to put on two-and-a-half stone [35 pounds] during lockdown or lose it, and I've lost it," she says. "It was a conscious decision and I knew I had to focus. I bought myself a racer bike, a trampoline and some Tracy Anderson DVDs."

Silverton loves going on adventure holidays with the family. "We've been very lucky to go to amazing places including Mustique in the Caribbean, and had incredible times," she says. "But in Somerset, when we were sat on a bench eating sausage sandwiches with the sun high in the sky, the children said, 'This is better than Mustique'. They were in their element rolling down hills and constantly being in the fresh air. My son Wilbur loved it because he didn't have to change his pants for the whole week!"

Helping Others

Silverton volunteers her time to help others, which research shows is beneficial towards mental health and happiness. "I've started counseling in a London primary school – on placement, I should stress," she says. "I have my own clients and I report to a supervisor at the end of the day. I'm absolutely loving it. That's my joy at the moment. It's an extraordinary privilege to be doing that. I feel very focused and fired."
