1. She Goes Hard…and Allows Herself to Recover

Bruno, known for his snarky sense of humor makes a valid point about his star client in his latest video: She works hard and rests hard. “We all know the importance of rest and recovery, but @kateupton took it to a whole new level and invented the ‘mid-workout nap’. This is genius. She’s been getting personal records left and right in the gym, so I’m definitely gonna try it out myself and with the rest of my clients. As she likes to say: ‘work hard, nap hard’,” he captioned the video. “PS: Those squat jumps in the pool and the barbell-loaded hamstring bodycurls are no joke. Seriously impressive stuff.”

2. She Does Pool Workouts

This isn’t the first time Kate has done a pool workout. “The pool workouts look easy, but they’re actually really tough. Here’s a clip of the hand weight circuit and the bar circuit, but we also do a bunch of lower body stuff, and sometimes we’ll bring the KBox or some dumbbells out by the pool and do a mix of weights and pool stuff,” he wrote alongside another Instagram video of one of her sessions.

3. She Prioritizes Exercise

Bruno told Cosmopolitan that Kate works out five times a week. Her sessions are one to two hours long and consist of strength training exercises like a mix of deadlifts, hip thrusts, lunges, rows, and sled pulls, that work her entire body. "A lot of girls are scared to do strength training because they fear that they're going to bulk up, but if you do the right stuff and focus on the right exercises, it actually helps tighten everything up. Kate has really tightened up her physique noticeably as she's gotten stronger,” he explained.

4. Her Diet Is Clean

According to Bruno “Nutrition is more than half the battle,” when it comes to Kate. “She committed to both the training and the eating right from the get-go, and that's why she's seeing such great results." She eats mostly lean protein and veggies, avoiding added sugars and processed foods. "That's been key," Bruno explained. "If you limit sugar and processed food, that takes care of most of the problems." She also loves smoothies and a glass of wine on occasion. “I don't want it to feel like an unbearable diet. There's not a set cheat day or anything like that, but she does have treats here and there,” he says.

5. She Has Workout Buddies-Slash-Competition

Kate has both a workout buddy and competitor in Chelsea Handler, another one of Bruno’s celebrity clients. The girls are constantly tagging each other in workout videos, trying to one-up each other.

6. Her Lifestyle Is Active

Even when she isn’t in the gym, Kate maintains an active lifestyle. She loves hiking, swimming, tennis, riding horses, and even rock climbing, sharing images of her adventures on social media. She also does aerial yoga.

1. She Avoids Gluten

One of Upton’s personal trainers, David Kirsch, disclosed some of the model’s diet and exercise secrets to ELLE. Kirsch says that when it comes to Upton’s diet, she cuts out a few major foods, and is inspired by a gluten-free diet. "It's sugar, alcohol, and processed carbs that we avoid. I don't have her on a specifically gluten-free diet, but by the nature of what she eats, it is gluten free."

2. She Circuit Trains

Vogue + Canada Goose + Polar Bears International Screening & PanelAmy Sussman/Getty Images

Kirsch also broke down Upton’s fitness routine to ELLE. "We do extreme, intense circuit training,” he said. “We do three or four circuits and change them up a lot. There's lots of core, butt, and thigh shaping and toning. We work with resistance bands, stability balls, do lateral lunges for the inner thighs, and for arms we do boxing. She has her own pair of boxing gloves, and she will beat me up. She loves it! It's a very efficient way to work out and get your cardio in."

3. She Doesn’t Own A Scale

While it may seem like Upton has the perfect body and weight, she says that she doesn’t exercise to get to a certain number on the scale. In fact, she told Yahoo Style, that she doesn’t even own a scale, and sets goals to where she is happy with her body. “I’m not trying to be fit for a number on a scale," she says. "Whenever I’m happiest, I try to maintain that. I don’t need a number.”

4. She Works Hard

Upton’s other trainer, Ben Bruno, gushed over the model in an interview with E! News. He praised Upton’s work ethic and persistence. “Her progress has been amazing. She trains harder than just about any client I've ever had. I've trained a lot of athletes and Kate trains as hard as anybody. She's very dedicated, works hard and the other part too that kind of goes hand in hand with what we do in the gym is that she's got her eating on track. She's very disciplined with her eating. She's been great about limiting sugar."

5. She Indulges Only Once In A While

Bruno said that while Upton eats healthy, she isn’t afraid to indulge once in a while. He says that she does enjoy herself at times, but always goes back to eating healthy. "She eats very well most of the time. Sometimes she splurges and when she does she just picks back up and keeps going. She eats treats but it's just about moderation…I don't want people thinking it's a diet. I want them to think it's a lifestyle."

Kate Upton is known for being a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, and for starring in films like The Other Woman and The Layover. Upton is also considered one of the most beautiful women in the world. As if to prove it, she just posted a photo of herself on Instagram wearing purple lingerie. “Feeling strong, sexy and comfy in my @yamamayofficial 💙 Happy 20th anniversary! #AuguriYamamay #20YearsofDreams,” she captioned the photo. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see seven ways Kate Upton stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. She Lifts Weights

In an interview with Shape, Upton revealed that she is a weightlifter. "To me, exercise is about working really hard in the gym to be healthy and feel good and confident about my body. Weight training helps me do that the best.” Upton also says that she works with a trainer, who helps motivate her. “Lifting heavy weights leans you out if you do it the correct way. Ben Bruno, my trainer, always makes sure I'm getting it right. When I started training with him, he would say, 'Let's put 500 pounds on the sled,' and I would immediately say, 'I can't do that.' So he started standing on the sled so I couldn't see how much weight was on there. Now my attitude has changed completely, and I'm always pushing myself to do more.”

2. She Eats A Protein Heavy Diet

Kate Upton - Canada Goose And Vogue Host Cocktails And Conversation About What Impact Climate Change Has On The Future Of Polar BearsKurt Krieger/Corbis via Getty Images

Upton tells Shape that she makes sure to eat healthy, and that she tries to eat a lot of protein in her diet. "I eat a lot of protein like chicken and tons of greens. I'm like a female Popeye: I eat so much spinach that it's insane. I love it with a little bit of cheese drizzled on it–it's one of my favorites.” Upton says that her diet is based on her workouts, specifically her weight training and weight lifting. “I always have breakfast because I can't do a hard workout if I don't eat. I usually have eggs and spinach beforehand or an omelet with a bunch of veggies in it and maybe a little feta. If I'm at the gym acting like a badass lifting all those weights, it would be pretty embarrassing if I fainted."

3. She Has Little Snacks Through The Day

Upton isn’t afraid to admit that she has a snack each day, and says that this helps with her diet. "I don't like to be starving when I sit down to have a meal, because then I eat too much,” the model tells Shape. “If I have a little snack and curb my hunger before it gets out of control, I'm able to keep a handle on my diet better. I've gone to the grocery store when I'm starving, and it's not a good idea. I end up buying the entire store."

4. She Doesn’t Workout to Lose Weight

Kate Upton Leads Strong4Me Workout EventCindy Ord/Getty Images

Being a model, Upton had to deal with the pressures of looking a certain way, and being a certain weight. However, Upton says that she doesn't workout to lose weight, and that it is actually better and more effective for her. She tells Shape, "What really helped me deal with the pressure of the fashion industry and having to be a certain weight was taking myself out of that conversation completely. Once I started focusing on being strong and doing weight training, I became the size that I needed to be for modeling. I changed the battle inside my head to be about strength and having balance in my life instead of fitting into a pair of jeans."

5. She Isn’t Afraid To Indulge & Believes In Balance

"Marriage Story" Red Carpet ArrivalsStefania D'Alessandro/WireImage

Upton loves junk food and indulgences, and she isn’t afraid to admit it, or indulge herself. Upton tells Shape that she believes in balancing her diet. "I like to have a little 'bad' every day. Whether it's chocolate, some chips or french fries, or croutons on my salad. Or cheese and bread, which is my absolute favorite if I have to pick one. Having a treat makes you feel like it's worth it."

6. She Lets Her Love of Dessert Motivate Her

Upton is a food lover and a big sweet tooth, and she uses it as a way of motivating her to exercise.” "Exercise is me taking care of my body, and I always feel really good about that,” she admits to Shape. “But everybody has those moments when they think, I don't want to work out; I'm so tired; don't make me. I never shame myself for that. Instead, it's all about balance. If I want to have a really awesome dinner, I might use that as motivation. I'll tell myself, 'I will have that dessert tonight if I just get my ass to the gym!' Then I end up going and being so grateful that I did."

7. She Circuit Trains

Upton’s trainer, David Kirsch, says that he does a lot of circuit training with the model. Kirsch describes their workouts to Elle AU. "We do extreme, intense circuit training. We do three or four circuits and change them up a lot. There's lots of core, butt, and thigh shaping and toning. We work with resistance bands, stability balls, do lateral lunges for the inner thighs, and for arms we do boxing. She has her own pair of boxing gloves, and she will beat me up. She loves it! She said that since meeting her boyfriend, James Brown, she’s been inspired to be healthier and made changes to her life. “To be honest, since meeting my partner I've cut out a lot of sugar, alcohol and I was socially smoking, which is all gone!”

2. She Makes Healthy Meals

Baked,Salmon,Fish,Fillet,With,Fresh,Salad,From,Spinach,AndShutterstock

Power tells Daily Mail Australia that she likes to cook a lot of healthy foods and snacks for herself. She says that she likes to make juices, and always eats a lot of protein rich food. “I always have protein and vegetables for dinner and a salad,” she says. “I make lots of fresh juices and just try to keep it clean and lean.”

3. She Embraces Her Body

Power is all about body positivity. She’s not ashamed of her body, and loves to show it off on social media. “Every woman has cellulite and little lumps and bumps, I've just learnt to embrace and love mine,” she says to Daily Mail Australia.

4. She Doesn’t Have A Super Strict Routine

While Power is making a lot of changes to her lifestyle, she also isn’t putting herself on a strict routine. “I'm addicted to KFC wicked wings and have a sweet tooth, but I listen to my body and what it wants,” she said to Daily Mail Australia. “I don't have a grueling diet or exercise regime like my brother does, and I'm happy to accept that.”

5. She Strength Trains

Power is a big fan of strength training, even though she admits that she’s not great at it. Power posted this video on Instagram of herself doing a squat with a dumbbell. She wrote in the caption, “I have zero form, no idea what I’m doing and had to be saved from falling over BUT this is too funny not too share.”

Sarah Stage in Two-Piece Workout Gear Asks "Are You In?"
Sarah Stage/Instagram

Sarah Stage isn’t just about fitness—she’s about building a movement. The fitness expert and influencer recently launched Elevé Club, a wellness app designed to help people get stronger, feel good, and level up. To celebrate, she hit the gym in a two-piece workout set, sharing a video packed with strength-building moves and a powerful message: “Are you in?” Stage nearly gave up on creating the app, but she pushed through, knowing people needed a space for fitness without pressure or judgment. From lifting weights to stair climbing, here’s how she keeps her body in peak form.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram video, Stage is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing exercises like those has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Squats

In her Instagram video, Stage is seen doing squats and Bulgarian split squats. The Cleveland Clinic says that they can help improve posture. “Poor posture can cause all kinds of problems, including back pain, neck pain, headaches and an overall lack of flexibility. But working your erector spinae muscles, like through squatting, can help strengthen them and improve your posture.”

She Does Crunches

Stage is also seen doing v-sit crunches in her Instagram video. Wellyme says that they have a lot of benefits. “Crunches are a staple in the fitness world, an exercise that targets the abdominal muscles. They're a part of calisthenics, athletic preparation, and bodybuilding training. The effectiveness of crunches extends beyond the aesthetic appeal of a six-pack. They engage not only the rectus abdominis but also the external and internal obliques, and the transverse muscles.”

She Uses The Stairclimber

Stage shared this workout video on Instagram. One thing she is seen doing in it is using the stairclimber. Stage captioned the post, “My plans?🏋🏻♀️💭Working on big things with YOU in mind. Elevé Club is almost here, let’s level up together .” The Mayo Clinic states that stair workouts have a lot of benefits. “Research shows that stair-climbing helps strengthen and tone your leg muscles. It keeps your leg arteries flexible, allowing blood to move more easily. Better blood flow in your legs equals a healthier heart and body.”

She Loves Almond Milk

Stage loves almond milk, and she also loves making her own. Stage shared this video on Instagram of her recipe. She captioned it, “If you’re always on the go, making almond milk is an easy weekly habit that can make a big difference. It’s a healthier (and more affordable) choice for you and your family. Give it a try, you might never go back! 🥛✨☁️ HERE TO HELP DM ME APP FOR MORE RECIPES + Free Guide.”

Camila Guper in Two-Piece Workout Gear Cheers on "Consistent Actions"
Camila Guper / Instagram

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”

Victoria Justice in Two-Piece Workout Gear Has "A Little Reset"

Discover Victoria Justice's wellness routine, from hiking to yoga.

Victoria Justice isn’t just an actress and singer—she’s a longtime fan favorite, thanks to her roles in Zoey 101 and Victorious. But beyond the screen, she’s also known for her effortless style and active lifestyle. Recently, she gave fans a glimpse into her wellness routine with an Instagram post captioned, “Very grateful for this little reset & this little life 🙏🏼✨🌅”—and judging by the photos, that reset involved plenty of movement.

From hiking along scenic trails to stretching it out with yoga, Justice embraces an active approach to self-care. Here’s a closer look at the habits that keep her feeling and looking her best.

She Hikes

In her Instagram post, Justice is seen hiking by the beach. Hiking has a lot of benefits. Piedmont states, “Going up and down hills gets the heart pumping, creating a great cardio workout. Like most cardio exercises, hiking helps reduce your risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and even some cancers. Hiking is a weight-bearing exercise that builds muscle mass and helps prevent osteoporosis. Hiking can help you manage your weight.”

She Swims

Another thing Justice is seen doing in her Instagram post is going for a swim. Better Health says that swimming is very beneficial. “Swimming is a great recreational activity for people of all ages. Recreational swimming can provide you with a low-impact workout and it's a good way to relax and feel good…Swimming is a great workout because you need to move your whole body against the resistance of the water.”

She Does Yoga

Justice is also seen taking an outdoor yoga class in her Instagram post. Yoga has a lot of health benefits. Harvard Health says, “Yoga develops inner awareness. It focuses your attention on your body's abilities at the present moment. It helps develop breath and strength of mind and body. It's not about physical appearance. Yoga studios typically don't have mirrors. This is so people can focus their awareness inward rather than how a pose — or the people around them — looks. Surveys have found that those who practiced yoga were more aware of their bodies than people who didn't practice yoga. They were also more satisfied with and less critical of their bodies. For these reasons, yoga has become an integral part in the treatment of eating disorders and programs that promote positive body image and self-esteem.”

She’s True To Herself

Justice is all about being true to herself. She talked about this in an interview with People. "Nowadays, I feel like a lot of women feel a lot of pressure to look a certain way,” Justice said. “There's just so much beauty in owning your own individuality and who you are and not trying to be anyone else."

She’s Consistent

Justice makes sure to be consistent with her wellness. She talked about this in an interview with People. "I really appreciate it, especially because I feel like I do things to try to take care of myself the best way that I can.
