Kathy Ireland is one of the most well-known models and mavens of all time. She has started her own lines of home decor, clothing, and has written her own book. Ireland advertised her clothing line on Instagram this week. In it, she modeled different swimsuits and cover-ups on the beach. She captioned the post, “Tomorrow? 1. She Gives Back

Ireland is very charitable. She has founded the Kathy Ireland Recovery Center, which helps people struggling with substance abuse. Ireland has also worked with her good friend, Elizabeth Taylor’s charity, The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation as an ambassador. Ireland also works with several cancer foundations.
2. She Does Things With Her Family

In a 2015 interview with Parade, Ireland opened up about her wellness routine. She says that when it comes to exercise, she likes to do things with her family. “I love exercise when it comes from our family activities,” she says. Ireland listed some of her favorite family activities as, “Biking with our daughters and our son, hiking with my husband, surfing and playing in the ocean with our entire family.”
3. She Makes Exercise Exciting

When it comes to exercise, Ireland is all about keeping things interesting. She tells Parade that she tries to make standard workouts as fun as possible. “When exercise becomes structured, it’s less interesting. While on the treadmill, I try to get work done to fight boredom. A year ago, our company produced five bestselling fitness programs. We worked with HBO. We won the Video Software Dealers’ Association award and so many other awards.”
4. She Focuses On Heart Health

Ireland is all about keeping her heart healthy. She tells Parade, “Cardio training is critical. Heart disease remains the number one killer in America. After menopause, heart attacks between men and women equalize. Congestive heart failure is tragically too common for seniors. Our hearts can be helped by activity, healthy eating, stress reduction and the most important thing of all…LOVE!”
5. She Spends Her Time Wisely
Ireland makes sure to spend her time wisely. She tells Parade, “We all get the same 24 hours every day. The question is, how do we wish to spend our precious time? When you want something accomplished, ask the person who is busy. They already have multitasking under control. Learn from them. My mentors are all multitaskers. Finally, what makes the way I live possible is my faith, family, and being of service to others in life and in business.”
