Katrín Davíðsdóttir and her boyfriend, Brooks Laich, are enjoying a tropical vacation. She shared a stunning new set of photos on her Instagram. In it, Davíðsdóttir posed on her hotel's balcony overlooking the ocean. She wore a brown bikini top and gray wrap. She captioned the post, "Tis the sea-sun. She Weight Trains

 

Davíðsdóttir does a lot of things to workout. One thing she likes to do to stay in shape is weight training. Davíðsdóttir shares a lot of photos and videos of herself strength training on Instagram. She shared this video of herself lifting a barbell. She captioned it, "Saturdays are for pressing & ALL the variations of it! This is my last set of seated OH press off pins – I feel like this exercise has really taught me to get elbows UNDER the bar & drive up (vs the high elbow front rack)."

She Stretches

Davíðsdóttir always remembers to stretch. She shared this video of herself stretching on a yoga mat on Instagram. In it, Davíðsdóttir balanced on her knees to stretch one of her calves. Her dog also walked by her while she stretched. She captioned it, "Kodaboy always here to help me out with my stretching."

She Still Indulges

Davíðsdóttir eats a pretty healthy diet. However, she isn't afraid of indulging once in a while. She revealed some of her secrets to Women's Health. "If I'm craving something, it'll be something sweet," she says. "My food is pretty clean because that's how I want to eat. I do like my chocolate and cake every now and again. I definitely have my sweet tooth."

She Loves Eggs & Healthy Fats For Breakfast

Davíðsdóttir also revealed some of her favorite healthy meals to Women's Health. She says that she loves eggs for breakfast each day. "I've got to have my eggs, otherwise my day starts off wrong," she says. Davíðsdóttir says she also gets healthy fats each morning. "In an effort to get more fat in my diet for fuel, I eat half of the avocado and then the cream in my coffee."

She Makes Sure To Eat Well After A Workout

After Davíðsdóttir trains, she makes sure to recover. She revealed her post-workout foods to Women's Health. "I'll eat as soon as I finish training, and leave practice drinking coconut water with a scoop of chocolate protein powder and a serving of fruit. For dinner, I try to eat lots of dark green stuff-spinach, kale, broccoli. For protein I'll have chicken. For dinner, which would come soon after that late lunch, I try to eat a portion of salmon for its healthy fats and vitamin D."
