Katrina Kaif is celebrating in her swimsuit! The British actress, who was named Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year for her Kay Beauty by Katrina makeup line this week by Business Icons of India, relaxed in a bathing suit on a boat with husband Vicky Kaushal, while vacationing in the tropics. 1. Exercise for Physical and Mental Health Benefits
Katrina prioritizes fitness. She trains at the gym, does yoga, combat practice, dance, and pilates. “Exercise for me is something that not only physically but mentally is also very, very important for me. It releases endorphins, it keeps you feeling upbeat, happy and energetic." She added to Vogue: “I train with Yasmin Karachiwala. She understands my body type and works out regimens that suit my changing fitness needs. For instance, if I'm training for a song, there is a lot of torso related work; if it's an action sequence, she focuses on resistance training and overall muscle building. Overall,my workouts involve a lot of cardio. It's important to keep workouts fun and interesting, or the temptation to skip the gym can be very strong.”
2. Avoid Processed Foods
“I don't follow a specific diet. Having grown up in London, my palate already prefers non-oily and non-spicy food. I try and eat healthy in general egg whites over whole eggs, and a lot of salads, fruits and vegetables,” she told Vogue.
3. Eat Clean and Organic
Katrina fills her plate with healthy food. Her nutritionist, Shweta Shah, founder of Eatfit247, dished to Vogue about what she consumes. “She eats two home-cooked meals a day, and doesn't like to snack,” she said. “Even when she's shooting, and has a hectic schedule, she sticks to clean, organic eating that is dairy-free and gluten-free.”
4. Take Supplements

Shah revealed that Katrina is also a big fan of supplements. “Being an actor, her life does get a little more stressful when she's working, and this can affect her sleep, hair and skin. But she doesn't take over-the-counter pills to deal with it. She likes taking the natural route," she said.
5. Be Consistent
The secret to Kaif’s success? Consistency, per her nutritionist. “She doesn't change things often, unless a role requires her to look a certain way,” she said. “She believes in clean eating rather than following any fad diets.”
6. Hydrate

Kaif makes sure to hydrate. “I drink a lot of water and avoid alcohol and sugar-rich, carbonated drinks that are dehydrating in a pressurized environment,” she told Vogue. "As a general rule of thumb, you should try to drink between half an ounce and an ounce of water for each pound you weigh, every day. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds, it is recommended you drink 100 ounces of water if you are performing non-strenuous activities," says Penn Medicine.
7. Be Confident

“Beauty is about being comfortable in my own skin,” she said to Vogue. “I feel it's very important to be thankful for what you are blessed with and understand your strengths. If you force-fit a (beauty) style you are not comfortable with, it makes it difficult to be confident, and confidence is the only mantra that actually works.”
