"Most research suggests very active people should eat 1.2 to 2 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight. That means a 150-pound person should eat 82 to 136 grams each day. People who aren't active should eat less protein. Aim for .8 grams per kilogram of body weight each day."

Perry is a big fan of jumping rope, and says that it is a regular workout for her. She tells Us Weekly, "I like to jump rope! I can do the cross-over and double jumps." "A jump rope is an often overlooked and underestimated fitness tool, despite its exceptional versatility. Jumping rope is a full-body cardio exercise that has many great benefits and is the perfect workout 'filler.' This means you can use jumping rope in between lifting weights or other exercises to keep your heart rate up and skip that long cardio session after your workout," says ACE Fitness.

5. She Finds Healthy Alternatives To Her Favorite Junk Foods

Emilia Mernes has become one of the most popular Latin singers in the past few years. She has also acquired a strong following on Instagram. Mernes recently posted a stunning new set of photos. In it, she posed in a green swimsuit top with jeweled straps and a pink skirt, as well as a sheer pink top, swimsuit top, and denim skirt. She captioned the post, “Behind the smoke you can’t see.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Emilia Mernes stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Swims

Mernes spends a lot of time outside. One thing she likes to do is go to the beach and go swimming. She shares a lot of posts on Instagram of herself by the water. In this set of photos she posted, Mernes is seen on a boat and on a paddleboard. She captioned the post, “Made in Argentina.”

2. She’s Active

Billboard Latin Women In Music - ShowRich Polk/Billboard via Getty Images

Mernes opened up about her wellness routine in an interview. She says that she lives a pretty active life. “If I am skinnier it is because I am a thousand. But like everything, I eat well. The people around me know that I eat, it's not that I'm skinny, it's because I'm active, I dance a lot, I rehearse a lot, I'm doing things every day and I don't train, I should. Now I'm going to start swimming, but well the thing is that I never have a day off.”

3. She Speaks Out About Beauty Standards

White,Plaster,Mouth,Model,And,Red,Shiny,Female,Mouth,Lips,Shutterstock

In the same interview, Mernes opened up about her past insecurities and spoke out about unfair beauty standards. “I didn't wear muscle or short sleeves because I said 'I have fatter arms' and people are going to judge me for that. I mean, imagine how my head was, really bad. And well, I had a really bad time at that moment and then I understood that it is not like that and that nothing is wrong. But you know what happens? It's that people put me in that place of the Argentine woman, that you have to fulfill a stereotype, that you have to wear these clothes, that you have to say or do this. And she broke my head that she felt that she had to comply with things that society imposes on her that are stupid.”

4. She Admires Mega-Powerful Women

Billboard Latin Women In Music - BackstageGetty Images

She grew up admiring Thalia, Rihanna and Beyoncé. “I would watch them on TV and I couldn’t believe it. I’d say: ‘I hope one day I can see myself like them!’ Because whenever I listened to them, they instilled a message of power and confidence in me,” she told Billboard.

5. She Benefits From Sun Exposure

"One of the best (and easiest) ways to get vitamin D is by being outside. Our bodies produce vitamin D when exposed to sunlight—about 15 minutes in the sun a day is adequate if you’re fair skinned. And since Vitamin D helps your body maintain calcium and prevents brittle, thin, or misshapen bones, soaking in sun may be just what the doctor ordered," says Select Health.

Bebe Rexha is in Hawaii and it feels like we’re there with her. The singer (and actress, who appeared in Queenpins) has posted photos of herself relaxing and dancing on a boat, swimming next to a waterfall, posing like a model and joking around with Instagram filters. To paraphrase one of her songs, baby, I'm jealous of the pictures that you take. How does she stay so fit while having so much fun? 1. She’s All About Body Positivity

“I was in Florida doing WWE Wrestlemania. The day I flew in, I had a little time off to go to the pool. I said to my manager, ‘Will you just take a video of me?’ I just wanna see what I look like. And when she played me back to the video, I said, I'm kind of, to me, it's okay to have a little moving parts and pieces and the little indentations—it's sexy to me. That's sexy. We were never really taught that. Like how to love ourselves and how to love imperfections,” she told Access Hollywood.

2. She Does Leg Day

Photocall For STX's "Queenpins"Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic

"Time for legs," Rexha wrote in an Instagram Story chronicling her lower body workout. Smart choice. The largest muscles are in your lower body, and thus they burn the most fat. Your backside if the biggest source of myokines, which can do amazing things. Some help increase fat-burning in both the liver and skin tissue; others improve the function of the vascular system. Some improve the immune response; still others help our digestive system by improving communication between the pancreas and intestines. There’s even some evidence that myokines released through exercise may influence cancer cell growth.

3. She Mixes Up Her Workouts

Bebe knows the value of a good sweat session. Here’s a perfect 4 minute workout for you to try at home: Perform burpees for 20 seconds. Don’t worry about counting reps—just set a timer and get as many as you can. Afterward, rest 10 seconds, and then repeat for four minutes. Over time, you can progress the length of the work interval, but keep the ratio of work to rest at two to one (so if you build up to doing burpees for 30 seconds, rest 15 seconds between sets).

4. This is “Key for Me”

62nd Annual GRAMMY Awards – Red CarpetEmma McIntyre/Getty Images

“I will say that sometimes when I’m really tired, and I don’t have time to wash my face, I have a little trick. It's actually something I learned from a makeup artist back when I worked in retail and sold perfume. He’s like, “Listen, if you’re super tired and you can’t even wash your face, and you just use a makeup wipe, the one thing you should still always do is moisturize.” So, sometimes when I’m really exhausted, I don’t really go in with the soap and water. I know it’s not the greatest, but I’ll just use a couple of face wipes and then moisturize my skin really well. That’s key for me!” she told WhoWhatWear.

5. She Was Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder

amfAR Gala Los Angeles 2021Ryan Emberley/Getty Images

“For the longest time, I didn’t understand why I felt so sick. Why I felt lows that made me not want to leave my house or be around people and why I felt highs that wouldn’t let me sleep, wouldn’t let me stop working or creating music. Now I know why,” she said on Twitter, revealing her bipolar diagnosis. “I was very fearful,” she told Self magazine. “I didn’t want to think there was something wrong with me.” “My mom would call it code red,” Rexha said. “A day before [my period started], I would feel like my world was ending ... I would get into these funks and be really depressed and not want to leave my house.”

"“That was my worst fear all my life: going crazy,” she told Self. “I felt like me opening up to my fans was me finally saying, ‘I’m not going to be imprisoned by this.’ And maybe it’ll make somebody not feel imprisoned, in that moment, if they feel like they’re going through a rough time. That’s why I decided to really open up and to free myself from that.”

Missy Keating, the actress, singer and Ronan Keating's daughter, just shared a bathing suit photo of her loving lives. She wore a light green one piece with stripes and plants, and a yellow and brown striped towel with flowers on it. She captioned it, “Tell me you love life, without telling me you love life.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She Doesn’t Let Criticism Bother Her

Keating has had a lot of criticism on social media. However, she tells Gossie that she doesn’t let it bother her. “I’ve had a very good experience with social media over the years, but you’ll get the odd mean message every now and then. I’ve grown up with thick skin, and growing up in the spotlight has probably given me that thick skin. You’ve just got to remind yourself who these kind of people are that are commenting.”

2. She’s True To Herself

Keating tells Gossie that she is true to herself, especially when it comes to her career. “I just take everything in my stride. Everything I do, I do it my way. When I was growing up, my mom and dad always told me: ‘Whatever you do, do it to the fullest. Do it the way you want to do it. Give it your all, and have no regrets.’ And that is something that has stayed with me for life. If I’m on a shoot or on a job, I remind myself that I’m here to show who I am and to make my mark on the world. I don’t know how I have the confidence to do that, but I somehow do. I’m just trying to do things my way. I want to make my own name. I enjoy everything I do and I’m so thankful for the work and opportunities I get.”

3. She Dances

Keating was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. She opened up about her experience on the show to Gossie. “It was amazing, I had the best time! It was one of the most exciting, enjoyable things I’ve ever done. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I love dancing, I’ve loved it since I was a kid, and I got to learn styles that I never even knew existed. It was so cool, interesting and fun. I also loved the glitz and the glam!”

4. She Works Hard

Keating tells VIP Magazine that she works hard, and that this helped her on Dancing with the Stars. “I’m a very competitive person, just with myself. I get really annoyed in rehearsals if I can’t get it right. And I will just work and work and work until I can get it perfect. I want to listen and take it in and do that and be the best version of myself I can be. It’s going to be fun and I know it’ll be a great way to start the year.”

5. "Time to Tackle the Taboo"

Keating makes sure to support causes that are important to her. She recently took part in Pretty Little Thing’s collaboration with Girl vs Cancer. She modeled a piece from the collection in this Instagram post. Keating captioned the post, “Time to tackle the taboo. Despite thousands of women going through surgical treatment for breast cancer each year, women are still left with unflattering options when it comes to post surgery underwear.”

Paulina Porizkova is one of the most successful models of all time. She’s still showing off her body on social media at age 57. In a recent Instagram post, Porizkova posed in a leopard print bikini. In the caption, she talked about what she has learned growing up in the spotlight. 1. She Calls Out Double Standards

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Celebrates 2019 Issue Launch At SeaSpiceJohn Parra/Getty Images

Porizkova is known for being very outspoken on Instagram. She talked about double standards in society in this post. She wrote, “Athletes versus models. Both start their careers very young. Both make large amounts of money based on their physicality - in direct proportion to the demand - for their service. Both need to keep themselves in prime physical shape. Both jobs are physically and sometimes emotionally painful. Both careers end when most others just come into their best. Both are a celebration (or objectification) of the human body. Both demand sacrifices in personal lives. Both are used for your entertainment and to sell you products. One highlights mostly men, the other mostly women. And as they start aging out of their careers, if they refuse to give up quite yet - one gets applauded and is seen as heroic, and the other shamed as pathetic.”

2. She Goes To The Beach

Porizkova loves to spend time outside. One place she loves to go is the beach. She posted this photo of herself in Costa Rica on Instagram. She captioned it, “It’s been a wonderful week in Costa Rica, filled with sun, jungle, ocean, pool, long dinners, lots of books read, and of course, the antics of George the monkey.”

3. She Calls Out Haters

2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Launch CelebrationGilbert Carrasquillo/FilmMagic

Porizkova is not afraid to call out social media haters. She did so in this Instagram post.“A woman of 57 is ‘too old’ to pose in a bikini - no matter what she looks like. Because ‘Old’ is ‘Ugly.’ I get comments like these every time I post a photo of my body. This is the ageist shaming that sets my teeth on edge. Older men are distinguished, older women are ugly. People who believe prettiness equals beauty do not understand beauty.”

4. She Embraces Age

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Hosts "SI Swimsuit On Location" At Ice Palace - Day 2John Parra/Getty Images

In the same Instagram post, Porizkova says that she is embracing her age. “To perceive beauty you have to be able to SEE. This is why I believe we get more beautiful with age. We have earned our beauty, we understand what it is, and we can see it so much better. There is no such thing as ugly and old. Only shortsighted and ignorant.”

5. She Intermittent Fasts

Porizkova says that she likes to intermittently fast as a way to stay in shape. She explained her process on Instagram. “You don’t eat for 16 hours and then you eat for eight,” Porizkova said. “I generally take it as I eat whatever I want for eight hours because I like food, but I also kind of tend to like more healthy food.”

Sharvari isn’t just making waves in the film industry—she’s dominating the fitness game too. Known for her roles in Munjya, Maharaj, and Vedaa, the rising star proves that strength and discipline extend far beyond the big screen.
In her latest Instagram post, Sharvari showcased her grit with a hardcore beach workout, flipping a massive tire in the sand. Adding a playful pun to her caption, she wrote, “Never tyre’d of a good beach workout.”
So, how does she stay in such incredible shape? From strength training to boxing, here’s a look at her go-to fitness moves.

She Strength Trains

In her Instagram post, Sharvari is seen doing a strength training exercise. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories. Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Does Yoga

Sharvari shares a lot of her favorite workouts on Instagram. One thing she likes to do is yoga. Sharvari posted this video of herself doing poses on her page. John Hopkins Medicine states that yoga is very beneficial. “Regular yoga practice may reduce levels of stress and body-wide inflammation, contributing to healthier hearts. Several of the factors contributing to heart disease, including high blood pressure and excess weight, can also be addressed through yoga.”

She Plays Padel

Sharvari likes to play padel to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself on the court. Playing padel has a lot of health benefits. Everybody Health & Leisure says, “It improves cardiovascular fitness, helps to build strength and endurance, enhances coordination and promotes overall physical and mental well-being. Not to mention, it’s a fantastic way to burn calories.”

She Boxes

Another thing that Sharvari does to keep herself in shape is box. She first picked this up when training for the film, Vedaa. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself punching a bag. Sharvari captioned the post, “BEAST MODE on for Vedaa! ⚠️☠️🥊 Took up boxing to become Vedaa... Now I am ready to pack a punch or be strong enough to take a brutal beating 💪#Vedaa coming to a theatre near you on August 15th.”

She Runs

Sharvari likes to run to keep herself in shape. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself running on the beach. She captioned the post, “Decided to seas the day!” Better Health says that running is very beneficial. “Regular running or jogging offers many health benefits. Running can: help to build strong bones, as it is a weight bearing exercise, strengthen muscles, improve cardiovascular fitness, burn plenty of kilojoules, help maintain a healthy weight.”

Natasa Stankovic in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Wednesday Challenge"

Stankovic shares her go-to workout moves, from squats to lunges, cardio, Pilates, and strength training.

Entertainment India - March 2023

Natasa Stankovic isn’t just a content creator—she’s a fitness inspiration. Known for sharing intense workout sessions on Instagram, she keeps her followers motivated with creative exercise challenges and dynamic routines.

In her latest post, Stankovic teamed up with Aleksandar Illic for a lower body blast, pushing through variations of squats and lunges. Dressed in a sleek two-piece workout set, she captioned the session, “Wednesday challenge,” proving that fitness is all about consistency and fun.

So, how does she maintain her lean, strong physique? From strength training to Pilates, here’s a look at Stankovic’s go-to workout moves.

She Does Squats

Stankovic does squats to keep herself in shape, as you can see in her Instagram video. Piedmont says that this exercise has a lot of health benefits. “Whether you’re hoping to tone your muscles, strengthen your core or just improve overall health, squats are one of the best exercises you can do. Although the movements appear relatively simple, squats can take time to master. Joel Hardwick, ACSM EP-C, EIM2, an exercise physiologist at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center, says practice will pay off…Hardwick explains that squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back.”

She Does Lunges

Stankovic is also seen doing lunges in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic reports that lunges are very beneficial to do. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles. The lunge is a great conditioning exercise for many sports, especially those that involve lunging movements, such as tennis, basketball or soccer.”

She Does Cardio

Stankovic likes to do cardio workouts to keep herself in shape. She shared this video of herself doing fast box jumps in different directions on Instagram. Stankovic captioned it, “Morning cardio challenge.” Cardio exercises have a lot of benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “When you work your heart and other muscles of your body during cardio exercise, this increases oxygen supply to your whole body, allowing all muscles to work harder and more efficiently. Over time, regular cardio exercise allows your muscles to adapt to an increased workload, making regular activities seem easier.”

She Does Pilates

Stankovic shares a lot of her favorite workouts in an Instagram story highlight. In some of the stories, she is seen doing Pilates exercises on a reformer. Pilates is very beneficial. The Cleveland Clinic says, “One of the reasons Pilates is such a good workout is that it specifically focuses on building core strength.”

She Strength Trains

Stankovic likes to strength train to keep herself in shape. She shared this Instagram story of herself using dumbbells. ACE Fitness says that strength training and using weights has a lot of health benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

Kim French in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Real Results" Workout

Learn how she sculpts her powerhouse physique with deadlifts, lunges, squats, and more.

Kim French is more than just a personal trainer—she’s a fitness coach who empowers thousands through her Believe App and Instagram workouts. Known for her structured, effective home training plans, she proves that you don’t need a gym full of heavy weights to build serious strength.

In a recent Instagram post, French shared a glimpse of her at-home training, reminding followers that smart training delivers "REAL results." Rocking a sleek two-piece workout set, she showcased some of her go-to exercises, emphasizing that with the right strategy, anyone can see progress.

So what’s in her routine? From deadlifts to hip thrusts, here’s how French sculpts her powerhouse physique.

She Does Deadlifts

French is seen doing deadlifts in her Instagram post. This exercise has a lot of benefits. NASM says, “A Romanian deadlift is a hip-hinge pattern that works the hamstrings and glutes. It is a form of deadlift with noticeably less bend in the knee, leading to greater hamstring engagement than traditional deadlifts. The move was introduced to the masses in the 90s by Romanian weightlifter Nicu Vlad (an Olympic and World Weightlifting champion) and his coach Dragomir Cioroslan. The two invented the move to help Nicu strengthen his back for the clean and jerk. Today, RDLs are commonly used to strengthen the posterior chain, using the core muscles to stabilize and the hamstrings and glutes to drive the movement.”

She Does Lunges

Another exercise that French is seen doing in her Instagram post is lunges. NASM says that they are very beneficial. “The lunge is a versatile, simple and effective movement for lower body training. Various positions, planes of motion and speeds can all yield different training adaptations for the exerciser. Lunges are the gift that keeps on giving!”

She Does Squats

French is seen doing squats in her Instagram video. According to The Cleveland Clinic, squats are very beneficial. “Here’s a quick look at the many benefits of squats, also known as bodyweight squats or air squats: Works major muscle groups. Burns calories. Strengthens your core. Improves lower body strength. Enhances stability and balance. Betters your posture.”

She Does Hamstring Curls

French is seen doing hamstring curls in her Instagram post. According to The Mayo Clinic, hamstring curls are very beneficial. “The seated hamstring curl is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work the muscles in the back of the thigh. As the name implies, the seated hamstring curl targets the hamstring muscles here in the back of the thigh. Strong hamstring muscles help to protect your ligaments in the knee.”

She Does Hip Thrusts

French shared this video on Instagram of herself doing hip thrusts. She captioned it, “Hip Thrusts are no doubt one of the best exercises for building your Glutes but of course with any exercise, the form has to be correct for you to see the maximum benefits…✖️ Feet too far forwards will engage your hamstrings more ✖️ Feet too close to you will engage your quads more ✔️ Feet placed so your calves are vertical will engage your glutes more.”
