Ripa still hosts the show, and has done so with Michael Strahan and Ryan Seacrest. She currently hosts it with her husband, actor, Mark Consuelos. She recently hit the gym with some friends, and they shared a photo of them on their Instagram stories. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Kelly Ripa stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. She Uses Multiple Cleanser

Foaming,Facial,Cleanser,And,With,Flowers,On,Wooden,Background,,TopShutterstock

Ripa shared some of her skincare secrets with Glamour. “At night I'll use a cleanser,” she said. “I switch it up a little bit because I have three that I really, really like. I love Tracie Martyn's cleanser so much. It smells amazing and does a great job. I also love the Tata Harper Purifying Cleanser. That one's incredible. And then there's this one that I got in a swag bag that I keep using because it's really, really good. It's the Ingredients Face Cleanser. I rotate between those three. It's just to use the products I have—I don't like any of them to sit unused for too long. I don't know why. It's just my own hang-up.”

2. She Dry Brushes

Ripa tells Glamour that she likes to dry body brushing. “In the morning, I will do a dry body brush, mainly because I read that Elle McPherson does a dry body brush and her body is just at a whole other level. Dr. Gioffre, who's this great anti-inflammation specialist that I see in New York, also told me about dry body brushing for inflammation. Your skin is your biggest organ, and you really need to stimulate it every day. So I do that every day. Whether it does anything or not, I don't know, but it feels good and I have the time in the morning.”

3. She Uses Skincare

Pattaya,,Thailand,-,Circa,April,,2023:,Laura,Mercier,Cosmetic,ProductsShutterstock

Ripa shared her favorite skincare products with Glamour. “I use two kinds of tinted sunscreen moisturizer. The first one is Laura Mercier and the second one is TiZO3's primer sunscreen. I put that on before I do my makeup, because I've been doing my own makeup for work since the pandemic. I love the Laura Mercier tinted sunscreen because it's a great moisturizer, but it doesn't look chalky. The TiZO3 also works as a makeup primer, so it takes away any shine that the Laura Mercier moisturizer put on my face. Because I have to go on camera I'm mindful of the shine factor.”

4. She Removes Her Makeup

Ripa tells Glamour that removing her makeup is very important to her. “I've been wearing television makeup for 33 years, and I can tell you with complete surety that it's the most damaging thing there is for skin,” she said. “I look at my mom, who is 82, and has almost no wrinkles. She looks amazing. She has never done anything to herself, but she doesn't wear makeup. I think that right there is the telltale that this stuff builds up and stresses the skin. I'm always so terrible about the removal process—I'm really rough and don't take the necessary time that I should. I just want to get it off. So the first thing I do when the show is over is take a makeup-removing wipe. I use the Neutrogena makeup remover. It usually takes three or four to get it all off, and then I'll wash my face.”

5. She Works With A Nutritionist

Kelly Ripa.1Kelly Ripa/Instagram

Ripa works with nutritionist, Dr. Darryl Gioffre, to help her eat healthy. He talked about working with Ripa in an interview with E! News. "I've never met someone who is busier than Kelly. She is supermom. She is just amazing on the show. She works out seven days a week, and she maintains this incredible strength eating lifestyle that I've taught her."

1. She Exercises Discipline with Workouts

Having lots of discipline is key to Kelly’s fitness success. She told Yahoo’s In the Know that she never skips a day. “I work out seven days a week. And I try to workout an hour and a half a day, no matter what — whether I’m working or not,” Ripa shared with us. “If I’m working, maybe I’ll start it a little bit later or a little bit earlier, depending on what day of the week it is. But I am very religious about my fitness.” One of her go-to workouts? Dance-cardio class AKT, which she does four days a week, SoulCycle, which she does twice, and one day of running, she told People. “I love the dance class,” she said. “Because I think I’ve aged out of going clubbing, really, that’s my nightclub. Everybody there is my age, so it’s like a bunch of us old ladies working out.”

2. Energize with Exercise

Kelly doesn’t need to drink a lot of coffee – she just works out! “I think that energy begets energy,” she told ITK. “There are people that say, ‘You must hate working out!’ It’s going to be so hard to push your way through [with that attitude], and I love working out. But it’s like developing a love for anything: You have to really practice it to love it. And, so, I found that years ago I really figured out that the more energy I put into the gym or left on the dance floor, the more energy came back to me.”

3. She Is a Teetotaler

Kelly and Mark quit drinking In 2017 which contributes to their "healthy lifestyle.” She told Parade: "We did both quit drinking almost three years ago. Not that we were sitting around drinking day and night, but I think that there is something about like clean living—maybe that's what did it. Maybe that's the difference."

4. She Followers a High-Alkaline Diet

Kelly follows a high-alkaline diet, explaining to People that the low-acid meal plan is “responsible for [her] not being in pain” as it is anti-inflammatory. “I actually eat much more on this cleanse than I do in my actual life, but it’s what you eat and how you eat it,” she said.

5. She Eats Lots of Plants

Kelly also tries to stay away from animal products, focusing mainly on plant-based food. “I like to drink coffee. I occasionally will have fish. The alkaline diet is primarily a vegan diet, but I like cream in my coffee. I like to have a glass of wine. So I don’t adhere to it strictly, but when I do a cleanse, it will be seven days, and then I go back to my normal life. But my normal life, like I said, is not that different than the alkaline cleanse,” she told People.

6. She Drinks This in the Morning

It might be September but Kelly Ripa is not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet. Ripa, 52, shared those sentiments on her social media, posting a romantic photo of herself and husband Mark Consuelos silhouetted against a beautiful beach sunset, wearing a bikini and a big smile. “Endless summer,” she captioned the post. How does Ripa only get better with age? Here are 5 lifestyle tips she swears by for ultimate health and happiness.

1. Dance and SoulCycle Workouts

Ripa’s workouts consist of dance-cardio AKT, SoulCycle, and running. "There are a lot of people that don't have to work out, and I am so happy for them, but I have to work out for my body type," she says. "It's part of my routine. It's part of my ritual. It doesn't just make me look better, but it makes me emotionally feel better. I love the dance class. Because I think I've aged out of going clubbing, really, that's my nightclub. Everybody there is my age, so it's like a bunch of us old ladies working out."

2. High-Alkaline Diet

Ripa follows a mostly high-alkaline diet. "I like to drink coffee. I occasionally will have fish,” she says. “The alkaline diet is primarily a vegan diet, but I like cream in my coffee. So I don't adhere to it strictly, but when I do a cleanse, it will be seven days, and then I go back to my normal life. But my normal life, like I said, is not that different than the alkaline cleanse."

3. No More Wine

Ripa no longer drinks after experiencing the health benefits of an alcohol-free month. "I did a sober month — all my girlfriends did it, we all did it together — and I just never went back to it,” she says. “It wasn’t even really a thought process. It felt great, I felt like I looked great, I felt like I didn’t feel hungover. Not that I was a heavy drinker — I wasn’t someone who got drunk — but even like two glasses of wine at a girl’s night out dinner; I would feel it the next morning. I just didn’t really feel the need or desire to go back to it. It wasn’t really a choice or a thought, it was just, ‘Yeah, I guess I don’t drink anymore.'"

4. Vitamins and Supplements

Variety's 2023 Power Of Women - ArrivalsSlaven Vlasic/FilmMagic

Ripa takes vitamins to support her health and wellness. “So much of my life has been devoted to having the perfect diet, having excellent nutrition, having a fitness routine I can get behind and practice every day, and I do, I exercise seven days a week,” she says. “I rarely have a cheat day, diet-wise. I’m pretty stringent about taking care of myself a certain way. But [vitamins were] the one thing that seemed so overwhelming to me, and so mind-numbing.”

5. Home Cooking

Ripa enjoys cooking at home for her family. "I do make a lot of Italian food. My husband likes when I make a roasted, slow-cooked pork with hot chile peppers," she says. "But I'm not particularly good at it! I think [my family] is just being nice to me. I think they're trying to encourage me to keep trying."

Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
