1. She Doesn’t Diet, She Just Eats Clean

In a video interview with PopSugar, with her trainer Jeanette Jenkins, Rowland was asked about her diet. The singer responded that she doesn’t have a specific diet, and she just tries to eat healthy and take care of herself. “I never like to say ‘diet’,” Rowland said. “I like to say ‘eating clean’, and you know, listening to your body, and knowing what your body responds to.” Rowland says that she likes to eat greens and fish, and avoids heavy food.

2. She Enjoys Working Out

Rowland tells HollywoodLife.com that one of her workout secrets is that she actually loves to exercise. “I like working out,” she said. “I genuinely love working out. I love the way I feel when I’m working out. I love the fact that I’m taking the time to pour back into myself. Workouts for me are a time for [myself] and I get to pour back into myself and I love that.”

3. She Loves Pilates

One of Rowland’s favorite ways to exercise is by doing Pilates. In fact, she even has her own Pilates DVD. Rowland told Health that Pilates helped her lose the weight she gained from pregnancy. “For keeping my abs together, basically after I had my son it was super tough on my body. I definitely do Pilates. It just keeps the core tight, brings the abs in, the breathing, it’s just fantastic."

4. She’s Comfortable With Her Body

Rowland tells Health that, while she hasn’t always been comfortable with her body, she’s learned to accept herself, no matter what she looks like. “I stay body positive by taking care of my body and just being comfortable with the body that God gave me and that continues to evolve," says Rowland. "How I became comfortable with my body is understanding that no one looks like me. I kept comparing myself to so many other women who didn’t look like me, and I had to embrace me and all my flaws."

5. She Makes Time For Herself

Despite her busy schedule, Rowland tells Health that she prioritizes her me-time. "I practice self care by meditating, I practice self care by spending days by myself sometimes, even if I'm just in the shower. I just try to take time for me."

Actress January Jones recently celebrated her 44th birthday, by posting a series of stunning photos on Instagram. The Mad Men star posed poolside while wearing a leopard print swimsuit. She captioned the main image: “Thank you for your birthday wishes yesterday. I’ve always been of the theory that Age is But a Feeling. And despite a rough last wk or so I’m feeling really good, really grateful and around maybe 27 (but wiser).” Read on to see 5 ways January Jones stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Adjusts Her Posture

Jones revealed a lot of her health and wellness secrets to Shape, where she revealed that she is very conscious of her back and her posture. Jones says that being a mom is what caused her to first notice her bad posture. “After I had my son, Xander, I wanted to feel strong because my body had changed so much. As he got bigger and I was hauling around a 20- or 30-pound toddler, my lower back gave out and I saw my shoulders starting to curl and hunch. I wanted to do something for my posture and core strength.” Jones says that she was inspired to do workouts that help correct her posture. “Two or three years ago I started taking barre classes.”

2. She Does Pilates

january-jones-2January Jones/Instagram

Another workout Jones does to correct her posture is Pilates. She says to Shape, “I took regular private Pilates lessons. Then a friend told me about Lagree Pilates. I’ve been doing it two to four times a week for the past year now, and I’ve gained weight because I’ve put on muscle. I’ve gone up a size in clothes, but I feel like I look better."

3. She Doesn’t Deprive Herself

january-jones-3January Jones/Instagram

When it comes to her diet, Jones says that she doesn’t deprive herself of any cravings or her favorite foods. “I don’t deprive myself of anything,” she tells Shape. “If I want something—steak, a bagel—I’ll eat it. There’s no diet or strict set of rules.”

4. She Cooks Healthy Meals

6th Annual InStyle Awards - ArrivalsAmy Sussman/WireImage

Jones tells Shape that she likes to cook meals for herself and her son, Xander, and that she makes them with healthy ingredients. “I love to cook for my son and me. For dinner, we like salmon with french fries, and we make pasta frequently. We try to have lots of green veggies. We eat organic because I worry a lot about that for my kid. No antibiotics or hormones in meats is really important to me, and so is eating sustainable fish. I don’t want to be that annoying person in the restaurant who’s like, ‘Where’s this fish from?’ But I do it anyway.”

5. She Stays Organized

Vanity Fair And Lancôme Toast Women In Hollywood In Los AngelesPhillip Faraone/Getty Images

Jones says that staying organized is a big part of her wellness and lifestyle. She tells Shape, “I’m a very organized person. I feel sane and calm when I know everything is in its place. I always have a list for the day. When I get to check something off, it’s the best thing ever. At work, when they say action, I can become someone else and be crazy and messy and erratic, and that feels amazing and therapeutic. But at home, the domestic aspect of my life is very important to feeling balanced.”

Singer Geri Halliwell is wishing her fellow Spice Girls group member Melanie Chisholm a very happy birthday on Instagram. Halliwell, 51, shared a picture of the two women posing together, wearing soccer shirts as they flexed their biceps. “Happy birthday @melaniecmusic May all your birthday wishes come true! ❤️❤️” she captioned the post. “Thank you ❤️,” Chisholm, 50, commented. Halliwell has been in the public eye for decades—here’s how she keeps growing and evolving.

1. Horseback Riding

Halliwell starts every day with a ride on her horse. "I don't know how many animals I've got!" she told PEOPLE. "We bought another horse today, and we named him Hercules after my favorite animation. I learned to ride horses in L.A., and now Monty is giving it a go. I was shocked because as a parent, whenever I try and push or over-encourage my children, they're like, 'Meh.' He just suddenly went, 'I'm doing it.' I think he had a play-date, and he was trying to impress his little girlfriend."

2. Lazy Skincare

May,22,,2022,Ukraine,City,Kyiv,Nivea,Cream,On,AShutterstock

Halliwell keeps her skincare routine as simple as possible. “I'm probably the laziest person you will ever meet in beauty care,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I am. I'm just tired and I wanna go to bed, so I want to do it as fast as possible and as simply as possible. I use minimal products as possible and I like to keep it natural, keep it simple. I sometimes go to sleep with my makeup on, but I actually like my makeup the next day, you know that kind of sunken in look? In the '90s, I didn't have a skincare regime. I was just like 'Oh, get on with it'. I think maybe [now] I use Nivea, which is a nice cool cream. My mom used it. I quite like it still. But I think as life happens, you're always giving to other people so it is nice to just stop and think 'This is my moment, I matter'. I don't wanna look older. I just wanna look my best.”

3. Wearing White

Halliwell is known for her all-white outfits, something she says was a deliberate style choice. "I really have enjoyed wearing white,” she told InStyle. “I looked through the ages. I've worn white a lot. The more I wore it, I thought, 'Oh actually, this is so easy. Everything matches.' So, it's sort of as a palette, a baseline palette. I've done it for a few years and then everyone keeps on commenting. It's really interesting how everyone comments on it. When I wore black all the time, no one said a word."

4. She’s a Writer

Halliwell writes children's books as well as her regular songwriting work. “I really love writing from the heart—emotive and connective,” she told Town & Country. “I think they can both do the same thing. With writing a book, you've got to be more expansive and more descriptive. It's just a different discipline, but both are very rewarding. I never stopped writing songs. I always knew that I wanted to continue writing music, because that was my favorite thing. Look, I'm no Mariah Carey, but one of my most enjoyable things was always writing the lyrics and the top line.”

5. Fabulous In Her 50s

Halliwell is fully embracing her 50s. “Rather than saying I am 50, I’m saying I get to be 50,” she told Amazing. “I’ve got half a century under my belt! I thought if I am going to champion the evolution of what I’ve always stood for – and that’s empowering others, whoever you are, and being yourself – actually, another boundary to break is to say, ‘It’s alright, it’s more than alright, it’s amazing [to be 50].’ I think sometimes we can look at the future with fear, but it’s the opposite.”

I’ve only had one trainer in my life, and I realized that because of my dance background, I already have discipline and I don’t need to be pushed. I think I’ve saved a lot of money too. 5. Rita Ora Went Seaside

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
