Read on to see 7 ways Kelsea Ballerini stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Routine Is Key

Kelsea revealed to Shape that maintaining a schedule helps her in life. "To be honest, routine always sounded boring, but now it's something that helps me feel like I'm in control of my life. I'm baby stepping my way into it. Little things, like when you get out of bed, make the bed. Get outside for 30 minutes a day. Sit on the porch. Take the dog for a walk. I'm building that into my life, and it's not boring at all. It's really helping me feel that ownership of my life that I need,” she explained.

2. Self Care is Crucial

“I used to think 'me time' was so narcissistic, but now I realize it's necessary,” she explained to Shape. “I have a SoulCycle bike, and I love to do that. I am a hot-bath fanatic. I have all my essential oils, and I do that pretty much every night. I can show up in a more present way when I'm taking time for myself too."

3. She Eats Healthy 80 Percent of the Time

“I've always been an 80/20 person as far as food and drinking. I try to do what's good for me 80 percent of the time. The other 20 percent of the time, I just enjoy my life,” she told Shape. “I run through the McDonald's drive-through once a month, and it's fine. Sometimes I'll have a little too much wine, and that's OK too. I've spent so much of my life feeling guilty for things that I eat or having an unhealthy relationship with food or the gym or whatever. So I just try to be nice to myself and do what's good for me. And when I don't, I start again the next day."

4. She Does Strength Training

Kelsea, who works out with Nashville based trainer Erin Oprea, focuses on simple but effective strength training workouts. “We're on Zoom three days a week and do a lot of strength training intervals, where you alternate two exercises until you've burned that muscle group, then move on. We cram it all into 45 minutes and call it a day,” she told Shape.

5. She Considers Exercise “Empowering”

"I guess I always had this thought that trainers just yell at you until you cry. But with Erin, she definitely pushes me, but she also just makes me feel really empowered when we work out," she told Health. "Afterward, I never feel stressed or exhausted; I always feel good, like I just accomplished something. Erin’s really encouraging like that."

6. She Does Lots of Different Workouts

Kelsea explained to Nashville Edit that the secret to exercise is finding workouts you like. “There are so many different kinds of moving. Going to the gym or running on the treadmill, which I personally hate and tried for years, isn’t the only way to exercise. I love any kind of cycle class because the music is super loud, the lights are dark, and I can shut my eyes and feel like I am at home with my headphones on. I also love Pilates for building long, lean muscle,” she said. “Working out, something I used to dread, is now something that I look forward to because it boosts my stamina onstage and makes me feel much more clear-headed and, in my body, too.”

7. It’s All About Self-Love

“I don’t shame myself if I screw up. I don’t make myself feel bad if I have a cheat meal or even a cheat day,” she told Nashville Edit about how she practices self-love regularly. “I’ve struggled with body image my entire life and knew if I was going to be an artist, I had to figure my" stuff "out. I don’t diet. I like my legs. I hate my stomach. I try not to stress about it. If I start to feel" bad "about myself, I get off Instagram and stop comparing myself to others. I do the best I can.”

Singer Kelsea Ballerini just came back from a trip to Cabo. She shared some highlights in a recent Instagram post. In them, Ballerini and her friends enjoyed time on a boat, at a beach, and at a club. She wore a lot of different swimsuits, including a leopard print one-piece and a green bikini. She captioned the post, “Too many moments to fit into a dump, but here is our official submission to be the real housewives of cabo. My heart is full, my belly hurts from laughing, and if I see a margarita in the near future I may yak. Ready for the year and so deeply grateful for friendship.” Read on to see 5 ways Kelsea Ballerini stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Prioritizes Skincare

Ballerini revealed her skincare routine and products to WhoWhatWear. She says that skincare is a lot more important to her now. “In the last few years, I’ve switched from just using makeup wipes to actually washing my face,” she says. “I mean, I’m finally acting like I’m in my late 20s now. It’s about time! But yeah, my morning routine is to wash with Skin Pharm’s Gentle Soothing Cleanser ($40), and then I use hyaluronic acid, and then I use Skin Pharm’s Glow Factor Vitamin C Serum ($150), their Eye Sculpt ($75)—which is an eye cream—and then the SPF.”

2. She Double Cleanses

Ballerini tells WhoWhatWear that she makes sure to cleanse her face. She says that she even double cleanses at night. “In the evening, I’ll do a double cleanse. I start with an oil cleanser, and then I follow that with the same gentle cleanser I do in the morning, and then I do the hyaluronic acid again, and then I do Murad’s Nutrient-Charged Water Gel ($62) as the last step.”

3. She Has A Better Approach To Fitness

The 56th Annual CMA Awards - ArrivalsJason Davis/WireImage

Ballerini opened up about her approach to wellness and fitness to WhoWhatWear. She says that she has changed her outlook on exercise. “I think my relationship with the word ‘healthy’ is always evolving. I used to work out solely for the way that I would look if I did. But now, I’ve really just transitioned to listening to myself and my body.”

4. She Walks

One of Ballerini’s favorite workouts is going on walks. She tells WhoWhatWear that she picked this up after touring. “I could just feel that my body really needed a break. And to be completely honest with you, ever since then, I have just been walking, and that’s kind of it. I don’t want working out to become an unhealthy crutch for me. So right now, my workout routine is really just walking outside and getting fresh air and vitamin D from the sun, hanging out with my dog. … That’s what feels like a healthy place for me.”

5. She Believes In Balance

Ballerini tells New Beauty that she is all about balance in her life. She says that the pandemic is what caused her to develop this. “I learned so much about myself this past year. I don’t think I realized how much I thrive in balance. I really love being busy. I love always having forward motion and looking to what’s next, but I think I’ve learned that I can do that better when my roots are deep and watered.”

Kelsea Ballerini is sharing her gratitude – in her swimsuit. The country singer shows off her strong abs in a bathing suit in one of her latest posts, opening up about her recent tour. “Spent the last few months touring with my hero turned brother @kennychesney,” she wrote. “My heart is so full from a beautiful collection of new memories. Thank you to everyone who made it so dang special,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Oh I love this ! 💕Making Tennessee proud,” commented her friend, Reese Witherspoon. How does she stay so fit, mentally and physically? 1. She Battles Anxiety

Kelsea discussed her mental health with Reese Witherspoon in a video discussing her poetry book. “I have anxiety. A lot of people do. We live in a very difficult time,” Ballerini confessed. “It’s something I talk about a lot: mental health and being able to feel safe.”

2. She Goes to Therapy

“I have been in therapy in and out my whole life,” Ballerini revealed to Reese. “It’s interesting, though, because when I was younger it was stuff that I was always made to do. It was all kind of forced upon me. So, I always had this stigma around it like, ‘this feels taboo. This feels like something other people want me to do.’ It wasn’t until the last few years that it was my decision that I was like, ‘I can be a healthier person.’”

3. She Strives to Be Healthy, Not Skinny

The 2023 CMT Music Awards - Backstage and AudienceGetty Images

“I think for me, I’ve had to redefine I don’t want to be skinny, I want to be healthy,” Ballerini added in the interview “I want to be able to nourish myself and take care of myself, and that doesn’t just mean my body. It means my mind, it means my soul, it means my creativity. All of that. Nourishing those things makes me feel healthy. And when I feel healthy I’m a better wife, and daughter, and friend, and writer, and all the things that I actually care about way more than how I look.”

4. She Took a Break From Exercise

In 2022, Kelsea took a “season of rest” from her workout routine. “As someone that's really struggled with body image my whole life, I really have to be checked in to, 'Am I doing this for the right reasons?' And I felt like by the end of that tour, I was starting to detach from the correct reasons for working out," she told Women’s Health. “I'll definitely start introducing cardio and strength training again so I can perform well, but I’ve been in a 'Season of Rest' before tuning up again.”

5. She Takes “Long, Slow Walks”

2023 CMT Music Awards – Red CarpetKevin Mazur/Getty Images

During her Season of Rest, Kelsea focused on doing “a lot of things to kind of reconnect with my inner child.” For example, she took really long, slow walks," and aimed for 10,000 steps per day. “Just to get fresh air and get sunshine and move my body, but not move my body in a way that I'm feeling like I'm needing [to see] some results."

6. She Dances

Kelsea did “all kinds of dance” growing up, but recently returned to classical dance. “I started taking ballet again. I danced for 10 years when I was younger, and quit when I was 14. But I loved it so much. And then my path really shifted to music,” she told Women’s Health. “I'm just trying to see what my body remembers and then and then relearn the art of it, because it's so beautiful. It's the little micro muscles in your ankles and in your inner thighs, and the (idea) that there's a string pulling you directly up to the ceiling while your toes are pushing down into the ground."

1. She Cooks A Lot Of Vegetarian Dishes

While Ballerini isn’t a vegetarian, her husband, singer Morgan Evans, is. Ballerini tells Shape, “My husband, who's from Australia, is a vegetarian. I grew up on chicken nuggets and waffles, so trying to match that was really interesting.” Ballerini says the solution is cooking a lot of vegetarian meals. “We cook a lot of lentil Bolognese, or we'll do Mexican bowls with tempeh instead of chorizo. I've found a good groove with healthy meatless alternatives for some of our favorite stuff, which is fun. When we go out, I'll get my fix of whatever I'm craving.” Ballerini says the COVID-19 pandemic made her fall in love with cooking. “I was never a cook. I was never home, so I never cared to. But I fell in love with it this past year.”

2. She Follows The 80/20 Rule

Ballerini tells Shape that while she doesn’t follow a specific diet, she follows the 80/20 rule. Ballerini says this plan helps her feel balanced. “I've always been an 80/20 person as far as food and drinking. I try to do what's good for me 80 percent of the time. The other 20 percent of the time, I just enjoy my life. I run through the McDonald's drive-through once a month, and it's fine. Sometimes I'll have a little too much wine, and that's OK too. 3. She Strength Trains

Ballerini tells Shape that she and her trainer strength train, even during the pandemic. “I've worked out with my trainer, Erin Oprea, for five years,” she says. “We're on Zoom three days a week and do a lot of strength training intervals, where you alternate two exercises until you've burned that muscle group, then move on. We cram it all into 45 minutes and call it a day."

4. She Doesn’t Shame Herself Anymore

Ballerini admits to Health.com that she used to feel bad about eating healthfully. “I definitely went through a phase of shaming myself if I ate something ‘bad,’” she says. But she has learned to find balance in her food and indulges once in a while. “I will never not have chicken nuggets in my life—or a few glasses of wine. I don’t ever want to feel guilty for having those things in my life.”

5. She Has Fun When She Works Out

2021 CMT Music Awards - Portraits & BackstageJohn Shearer/Getty Images

According to Ballerini’s trainer, Erin Oprea, the singer doesn’t exercise to lose weight, she does it to be healthy. “Kelsea came to me simply wanting to better her overall health and make [fitness] a lifestyle habit, and she's doing that at a young age, and I admire that so much,” Opera says to Health.com. The singer also tries to have fun when she works out. “She also wanted to learn how to make exercise fun and not a chore," Oprea says. "So that's what we do—we turn on the Nelly radio and we make it fun."

Alice De Bortoli doesn’t just light up Instagram with her stunning fashion and effortless style—she also shares the secrets behind her enviable beach-ready physique. The Italian influencer keeps her followers in the loop when it comes to fitness, beauty, and wellness, proving that looking and feeling great is all about consistency. From skincare rituals to core-sculpting workouts, De Bortoli’s daily habits make it clear that staying in shape is about more than just hitting the gym. Whether she’s cooking up homemade meals, breaking a sweat, or showing off a fresh new look, she’s all about feeling her best from the inside out. Here are five of her go-to habits for maintaining a strong, confident, and glowing presence all year long.

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

De Bortoli has impressive skin. Naturally, she takes care of it on a regular basis. De Bortoli shared this video on Instagram sharing her skincare routine. She captioned it, “The secret to perfect skin? Here is my step by step routine! ✨💦🎀 What product can you absolutely not live without?”

She Changed Her Hair Color

Alice De Bortoli dyed her hair

Alice De Bortoli/Instagram

De Bortoli recently changed her hair color. She explained why in the caption of this Instagram post. “The good thing about this color is that it does not require frequent touch-ups and it easily adapts to natural hair growth, it is versatile and can enhance any body and face shape 🧡for those who are tired of blonde or brown, bronde is the solution to change harmony without distortion 🤍for those who have a fair complexion, the most golden tone is recommended 🤎 for the dark complexion, on the other hand, more ash brown ❤️ 🔥what can I say... For me the bronde conquered, and what do you think?”

She Cooks

De Bortoli likes to cook, and she was taught to do so by her grandmother. She shared this video on Instagram of herself and her grandmother cooking together. De Bortoli captioned it, “Grandparents are wealth in society, my grandmother loves to cook and do it with her since I was a child. She has always inspired my creativity, patience, discipline and order but above all traditions, history, and the concreteness of nature's gifts. The greatest teaching my grandparents passed on to me is respect for people, the environment, animals and the kitchen... Today together we made Carnival Frittelle, an easy, quick dessert that adults and kids love. The ingredients are few and simple (but of high quality) and, trust me, the result is guaranteed: nice round but above all soft and tasty.”

She Works Her Abs

De Bortoli shared this video of herself working out on Instagram. In it, she is seen doing core exercises like sit-ups. Core exercises are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes. Strong core muscles help athletes, such as runners. That's because weak core muscles can lead to more fatigue, less endurance and injuries.”

She Works Out With Others

Alice De Bortoli works out with a friend

In the previous Instagram video, De Bortoli is seen working out with a friend. Better Health says that this has a lot of benefits. “You’re less likely to get bored when you have a workout buddy, especially a friend. While you’re catching up, having a laugh, encouraging each other, you’re also getting healthier. It’s a win-win. Chatting to a friend during exercise and breaks can help time pass quickly too. You’ll have more options as well, such as a game of tennis or squash.”

Kristin Cavallari is a reality TV and fashion icon. Since she debuted on Laguna Beach, people have clamoured for her fashion and beauty secrets. Cavallari recently shared her eye makeup secrets on Instagram, after several people asked for them. She captioned the post, “This is for the girlies in my DMs asking about this eye every time I do it. Sorry the lighting is awful. I also don’t know why the audio isn’t in sync for half of it 🫣 but here ya go 💗”

She's Less Strict With Her Diet

Kristin shares a Zucchini Almond Butter Blondies recipe

Kristin Cavallari/Instagram

Cavallari has written several cookbooks, and they have changed as her diet has changed. While promoting her book, Truly Simple with EatingWell, she revealed that her diet is less strict. “I've gotten to a point in my life where not everything has to be so perfect anymore,” Cavallari said. “I used to be so strict about what I was putting in my body. I'm still very healthy and very conscious of it, but I've gotten a little bit more lax. True Roots and True Comfort had nothing ‘white’ in them: no white flour, no white sugar, no white salt. But in Truly Simple, I bend a little bit in a few of the recipes, which really reflects where I am in my life and my new way of eating. Everything is a little bit more relaxed around here now.’

She Loves Cauliflower

Cavallari tells EatingWell that she loves making foods with cauliflower. “I love cauliflower because I think it's very versatile, and there's actually a Sweet Harissa Cauliflower recipe in Truly Simple that's my absolute favorite cauliflower recipe on the planet. If you've ever been to True Food Kitchen, their cauliflower was the inspiration behind it. There's this sweet harissa dressing that's on it, and there's little chopped-up dates in it, so it has that nice balance between sweet and savory. It's the absolute best.”

She Loves Salad

Cavallari likes to make salads. She shared one of her favorite recipes with EatingWell. “This salad has a few of my favorite things: salmon (which has omega-3s and is so, so good for you), bacon (no explanation needed), avocado (healthy fats), and spicy tomatillo ranch dressing (just yum). Together, they create culinary heaven. If you aren't familiar with tomatillos, they're similar to tomatoes but are slightly less sweet and are perfect when drenched in ranch.”

She Works With A Trainer

Cavallari tells Us Weekly that a lot of her gym sessions are with her personal trainer. “He kicks my ass,” she says. “He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life. I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”

She Shared Her Eye Makeup Trick

Cavallari shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Us Weekly. She says that consistency is one of her biggest priorities. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have,” she says. “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away. So it is about consistency for me.”

Rebeca Andrade is an Olympic gymnast. She is the most decorated Olympic athlete from Brazil, having won two gold medals, three silvers, and a bronze. Andrade recently shared some highlights of her native Brazil on Instagram. In some of them, she posed in a swimsuit while wading. Andrade captioned the post, “SC-&-RS🏕️🌅❤️ Being free is a paradox. It's committing to the life you want, without running away from the work that it entails. It's building freedom every day, with conscious choices and, mainly, with the acceptance that freedom is not the absence of limits, but the autonomy to know which ones are worth it and which ones are not. Being free is being willing to carry the weight of your own life and still find it funny.”

She Swims

In her Instagram post, Andrade is seen swimming. The Cleveland Clinic says that swimming has a lot of benefits. “Swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Does Gymnastics

Gymnastics is the main way Andrade stays in shape. British Gymnastics states that the sport has a lot of benefits. “When you take part in gymnastics, or any sport for that matter, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These also help to trigger a positive feeling in the body which can have a positive impact on your happiness and mental wellbeing. This can help to combat feelings of anxiety and depression.”

She Prioritizes Safety

Andrade talked about her training approach in an interview with the Olympics website. She says that she and her coach prioritize her safety, and that she will skip floor sessions if she isn’t able to do it. "I talk a lot with my coach and we trust in each other. We always try to be really safe, and do floor in the correct moments. He believes in me. I'm never going to lie to not do it. So, when I really tell him that I can't do it, it's because I cannot and he always respects that.”

She Sets Goals

In her Olympics website interview, Andrade talked about her commitment and goal setting. Specifically, she talked about her goal to make the Olympic team. “The other [goal], which is the main one, is for us to qualify as a team,” Andrade said. “I think it will be very important for me, for my team, and the focus is on that, whatever happens there, the result is a consequence of our work, of our commitment. But I really want to be there with my team and be happy and healthy.”

She Cooks

Andrade makes sure to eat healthy. She also likes to cook a lot of her own meals. She shared some of her favorite things to make in an interview with NPR. “There was one that was with potatoes and cheese, chicken. There’s cake. There’s cookies. A lot of things.”
