Kendall Jenner is spending a day at the beach. There, she's lounging in the sun and catching up on her reading. Jenner posted two new photos to her Instagram stories to show us. In one, she lounged while reading a poem called "When I'm Happy" from the book Sea of Strangers by Lang Leav. In the other, she posed in a black and white stripe bikini. How does she stay so fit? She Works Out First Thing In The Morning
Jenner and her younger sister, Kylie, broke down their daily routines to Harper's Bazaar. In it, Jenner revealed that she likes to work out first thing in the morning. "I've gotten used to being an early bird. I like getting up early and feeling really productive before lunch. I prefer to work out in the morning. To stay toned, I do a lot of ab work with my trainer, Gunnar Peterson, and occasionally I'll take a kickboxing class."
She Has Supportive Friends
Jenner tells Harper's Bazaar that a big part of her wellness routine is hanging out with her friends. She says that having a supportive friend group helps her grow as a person. "I think part of staying inspired and happy really comes from surrounding yourself with the right energy. Thankfully I have friends who lift me up and help push me. We're all going through these changes in our careers together."
She Gets Enough Sleep
Jenner tells Harper's Bazaar that sleep is extremely important to her. She says that she always makes sure that she gets enough hours each night. "I have to sleep at least seven to eight hours to be fully awake for the next day, so I try to get to bed as soon as I can. I've trained myself to fall asleep anywhere possible, in the car or on a flight."
She Keeps Her Blood Sugar Up
Food is a big part of Jenner's life. The model says that she doesn't really go on diets. She says that she actually eats a lot, and she has a good reason for doing so. "I have low blood sugar, so I definitely need things to keep me going (aka lots of food!)," Jenner writes on her app. "Here's what will forever and always make my list: Twix, Justin's Peanut Butter, chips and guac, and hummus and carrots. See, pretty simple—just feed me, and I'm ready to go!"
She Eats Healthy
While Jenner doesn't diet, she does try to eat healthy. She broke down her favorite healthy options to Harper's Bazaar. "I typically eat lean chicken and brown rice, and am always snacking on raw veggies with dip and hummus. I wish I had more time to do grocery shopping because I like picking out my own vegetables. I love Nobu for sushi or Craig's, where I order the vegan spaghetti Bolognese or Margherita pizza."
