Kennedy has done “a lot of different” workouts since retiring as a college athlete, she revealed during an Instagram Q&A. One of her favorites is pilates. According to research, Pilates exercises are designed to increase muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility, and to improve posture and balance. Experts maintain that it is a great workout for leaning out.

2. She Does HIIT Workouts

Kennedy also revealed that she does high-intensity interval training. There is lots of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.

3. She Skis

Kennedy can be found on the ski slopes in the winter. Research has linked downhill skiing to a number of health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress and the occurrence of memory deficits declines.

4. She Hikes

Kennedy takes long hikes with her pals and her pooch. “hike (verb): walking for a long distance, best enjoyed with forever friends who you can catch up with & have a great laugh,” she captioned a recent post. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service. Some of the physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study.

5. She Loves Hot Tubs

Kennedy spends a lot of time “jacuzzi cruisin,” taking advantage of the benefits of a hot water soak. Baths have been linked to better sleep and have even been found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.

6. She Goes for Walks

Kennedy spends a lot of time walking. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer in terms of exercise, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day led to a reduced risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Australian model Gabrielle Epstein is an all-rounder: she has a degree in biomedical science (her goal is to one day become a doctor)—but she also models, and her social media followers approve. Epstein posted a photo of herself posing in the back of a truck wearing a green string bikini and white crop top, with the caption “Off road 🛻.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Epstein stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Competitive Swimming

Epstein was a competitive swimmer until injury at 17 put paid to that dream, but still loves the water. “I started competitive swimming at a very young age and was state and national champion during my teen years and it was always my dream to compete at the Olympics,” she says. “Unfortunately I tore my rotator cuff at 17 which put an end to that dream. After receiving an academic scholarship to study Biomedical Science straight out of high school I began modeling as a way to earn extra money (as I was currently working as a cashier supermarket at 17 and the only reason I started modeling is that I found out I could make much more money that way!).”

2. Scuba Diving

Epstein loves scuba diving, and says one of the best birthday gifts she ever received was a scuba diving trip to the Whitsunday Islands, Australia. Studies show scuba diving offers many mental as well as physical health benefits.

3. Beach Babe

Epstein grew up on Australia’s Gold Coast and is happiest at the beach. “I live close to the beach and love running along the broad walk or the sand early every morning,” she says. “I always have an amazing group of friends who I love spending time with whenever I have the chance.”

4. Pilates

Epstein stays active as part of her overall lifestyle. “I’ve always been heavily involved in sports all through school and represented Queensland and Australia at a Junior level in swimming,” she says. “These days I run, do Pilates and hit the gym regularly. I find preparing healthy snacks and eating a balanced (rather than restrictive) diet is easiest to maintain with a busy lifestyle.”

5. A Meaningful Life

Epstein has a very down-to-earth attitude to what counts in life. “My definition of happiness is living a meaningful life in both my work and personal life,” she says. “Being proud of the work I do, being able to live comfortably, yet still have enough free-time to enjoy the wonders of the world with my family, friends and pets that I love most.”

Amanda Miller is having the time of her life with a group of girlfriends in Cabo, Mexico. The Siesta Key star shared a picture of herself wearing a brown crochet swimsuit, posing next to her BFF Chelsey as they insist Cabo is “a vibe.” How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Miller stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Swimming and Snorkeling

Miller is an accomplished swimmer and snorkeler. “Many people say that by simply being in the water they feel more relaxed and less stressed,” says swimming instructor Emily Morrissey. “Regular exercise helps reduce anxiety and depression, as it releases ‘feel good’ hormones and keeps our brains working in a healthy way. Learning to swim can allow you the opportunity to swim in beautiful places outdoors which many people find to be memories they cherish.”

2. She Skis

Miller loves to ski with her friends. “Skiing gets you outdoors in the winter when we often end up on the couch and are passive,” says physical therapist Scott Tremmel. “We’re just not as active when the cold weather sets in, but skiing keeps you moving to continue to build up your endurance. When you’re skiing, you’re often out with a group of friends and you’re socializing. You’re getting fresh air and taking in the beautiful scenery around you. It’s good for your emotional health.”

3. Adrenaline Junkie

Miller is a self-confessed adrenaline junkie and loves skydiving. “The sense of achievement you get completing a tandem skydive is amazing,” says Carl Griffiths, Marketing Manager at GoSkydive. “There is a reason a tandem skydive is part of lots of peoples bucket lists. Our guests always say it’s the best thing they have done.”

4. Coffee Drinker

AmandaMillerAmanda Miller/Instagram

Miller enjoys the health benefits and energy boost coffee provides. “Almost two-thirds of Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease are women,” says Johns Hopkins Medicine. “But the caffeine in two cups of coffee may provide significant protection against developing the condition. In fact, researchers found that women age 65 and older who drank two to three cups of coffee a day were less likely to develop dementia in general.”

5. Animal Lover

AmandaMiller1Amanda Miller/Instagram

Miller loves animals, especially her beloved dog. “There are many health benefits of owning a pet,” says the CDC. “They can increase opportunities to exercise, get outside, and socialize. Regular walking or playing with pets can decrease blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglyceride levels. Pets can help manage loneliness and depression by giving us companionship. Most households in the United States have at least one pet.”

You star Kathryn Gallagher is a friend to all animals—even ones who invade her pool. Gallagher, who played Annika Atwater on the show, shared pictures of herself relaxing in her pool, wearing a bright halter-neck swimsuit—and making friends with an amphibian friend. “This is my friend toad who is a frog. He jumped in the pool and I saved him from a chlorinated demise. After that we hung out for a while and I thought u guys might like him as much as I did,” she captioned the sweet post. Gallagher is an accomplished Grammy and Tony award-winning artist—here’s what her days off look like.

1. Mondays Off

Crossword,,Puzzle,,Clever.Shutterstock

Gallagher sees her physical therapist on her days off. “I would love to say I go for a fun lunch and do really great stuff on my day off, but that would be a lie,” she says. “I wake up, I’ll get a massage, I’ll read. I’ve got the hobbies of a grandmother; I bake cookies, I crochet. The smartest person I know does crossword puzzles and I thought, 'Oh, that’s how she knows so many words,' so I thought I should start doing them too. I started with Mondays, and so now I do them every Monday—my time is getting shorter every week, I’m getting much better.”

2. Christmas In Connecticut

Gallagher loves to spend down time in the country, relaxing and recharging. “I try to get up to my family’s house in Connecticut as much as I can,” she says. “It’s so beautiful and I’ve been coming since I was two years old. I come up on a Sunday night, I wake up Monday and build a fire, make some coffee, and sit and read. It’s a dream. I’m a big fan of Sakara. I try to be vegan, and it’s all plant-based so I love it. But I also definitely indulge. Over Christmas I made cookies for the cast and I did a classic gingerbread house.”

3. Humor and Honesty

Kathryn,Gallagher,Attends,"just,For,Us",Broadway,Opening,Night,AtShutterstock

Gallagher looks for humor and honesty when collaborating with other musicians. “Honesty’s a big one,” she says. “I start any co-write with just talking. Openness and all the things I look for in a friend. And also talent is always lovely [laughs], but it really is almost further down on the list. You have to like them as a person, especially because co-songwriting can be such an awkward thing…you have to be honest and open, and that’s not an easy thing to do at all.”

4. Bagels and Nostalgia

Gallagher spends her day off practicing, and enjoying her favorite foods. “I pick up my guitar every day and write, but Monday is a good day for me to focus on the business side of my music; figuring out what song I’ll put out next or getting together the artwork for a release,” she says. “H&H Bagels is 100 percent my place. I’m a bagel aficionado, and pretty much every day off starts there. When I’m really stressed out, I walk through the Natural History Museum. I find it really relaxing there, maybe because I grew up nearby and went a lot as a kid. Nostalgia is my favorite way to deal with stress.”

5. Jagged Little Pill

Gallagher played Bella Fox on the Broadway show Jagged Little Pill, and says the experience was incredibly timely. “When I got the role, it was before the #MeToo movement began,” she says. “It was before people talked about it. Honestly, seeing how our script came to life in the news every single day was miraculous. We were actually in rehearsals during the lab when #MeToo broke, when the Weinstein stuff came out, everything. All of that happened while we were in the rehearsal room. Every day we came into work and there was a new headline about these incredible women coming forward and sharing their stories. There was no way that wasn’t going to inform both my performance and also the way the script grew and evolved.”

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

Rita Ora on a Pilates reformer

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”
