Kardashian says that she’s on a low-carb diet. She writes on her app in 2018, "My trainer Mel [Alcantara] always says that before and after you train, you should eat simple carbs, like sweet potatoes, and small amounts of fat and protein, like chicken. You should also have veggies with your meals, since you need them to help effectively break down and absorb your protein, fat and carbs.”

2. She Eats A Plant Based Diet

Kardashian is also a fan of eating plant based diets, which she revealed on Twitter. She wrote, “I eat mostly plant based no meat anymore.” In another tweet, Kardashian says her favorite plant based meals are, “Oatmeal and vegan sausage for breakfast, vegan tacos are my fave for lunch! Salads are good too!”

3. She Weight Trains Daily

For exercise, Kardashian is a fan of weight and strength training, which she does everyday. "I work out about an hour-and-a-half every single day, heavy weights, I don't do a lot of cardio,” she says to E! News. "I've been working out really hard-core with a bodybuilder for one year."

Kardashian’s trainer, Melissa Alcantara, tells Women’s Health that the reality star is extremely committed to her fitness. “Kim is super responsible, she never cancels—she's the best client and athlete you could have,” Alcantara says. "Once [working out is] part of your daily routine and your life, then it's not something you have to think about, you just have to do it."

5. She Eats Healthier

Kardashian tells E! News that she is working on eating a lot healthier, and has cut out a lot of her favorite indulgences. She says, “I don’t really eat sugar the way I used to. It doesn’t really do it for me.” Kardashian admits that she didn’t always eat the healthiest, but is now viewing her diet in a better way. “I’ve kind of been trained to just eat a lot healthier than I used to. I used to just eat anything and everything and I loved it,” she said. “And so I really do control that now. … I don’t want to ruin it by just stuffing my face.”
