Zolciak says that staying hydrated is one of her biggest secrets. "I think getting ready for bikini season is water," she said. "No matter what you really eat, if you hydrate, and drink lots and lots of water, everything's flushing out your system."

She Takes Care Of Her Skin

Skincare is extremely important to Zolciak, and she makes sure to take care of it. She even has her own skincare line. Zolciak shared some of her secrets with E! News.  "I do take care of my skin. I hydrate with a lot of water. That's really important to me. And skin care products. I've always been into skin care, since I was young, like 14."

She Doesn't Eat Red Meat

Zolciak shared some of her diet secrets in her E! News interview. She says that there is one food that she cuts out of her diet. "I don't eat red meat," Zolciak revealed. "Which I don't think a lot of people know. I just don't like it. I didn't grow up on it. I just don't like it. There's no other reason. I do eat chicken and poultry, I think that probably helps."

She Believes In Moderation

Zolciak opened up about her diet in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.  "I think the key to staying slim or what have you is moderation," she shares. "I eat chocolate every day. I drink a glass of wine every day, on average … I know that eating a candy bar is not going to make me fat. In my mind, my mom always said, like, if you think it's gonna make you fat, it will! It's a mind frame and it's a mentality and it's a lifestyle."

She Runs

Zolciak shared some of her wellness secrets in this Instagram post. One thing she likes to do to stay in shape is run. "I run 3-4 miles 5x a week," Zolciak writes in the caption. "I have ALWAYS loved to run." Better Health states that running has a lot of benefits.  "The difference between running and jogging is intensity. Running is faster, uses more kilojoules and demands more effort from the heart, lungs and muscles than jogging. Running requires a higher level of overall fitness than jogging. Both running and jogging are forms of aerobic exercise. Aerobic means 'with oxygen' – the term 'aerobic exercise' means any physical activity that produces energy by combining oxygen with blood glucose or body fat."
