Mexican TV star Tabata Jalil is enjoying a luxurious getaway at the Unico Hotel Riviera Maya resort in sunny Mexico. Jalil, 44, shared vacation pictures of herself on social media, posing in a green bikini against a background of beautiful blue skies. “Dance in the air and travel in the sky, sun kisses ✨,” she captioned the post. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Jalil stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.

1. Healthy Whole Foods

Jalil starts the day with a glass of water and a fruit smoothie, before enjoying a healthy breakfast of scrambled eggs with tortillas. “I never drink soda, I always have lunch with water,” she says. “I prepare myself a vegetable soup with chicken broth, a roasted breast with rice and some tortillas, sometimes guacamole.”

2. Protein Snacks

Prosciutto,Di,Parma,With,Green,Olives,And,RosemaryShutterstock

Jalil’s co-to snack is usually ham and turkey with a side of olives, which are full of beneficial monounsaturated fat (ie the kind of fat you want for good health, along with polyunsaturated fat). “Fat isn’t the enemy,” says Devon Peart, RD, MHSc, BASc. “Some types of fat, like the fat in olives and olive oil, are actually heart healthy. Olives do what you want a snack to do: They’re good for your health and keep hunger at bay until your next meal."

3. Hiking In Nature

Jalil calls herself a nature lover, and enjoys nothing more than hiking in the great outdoors. “Exercising in nature leads to greater health benefits than performing the same activity indoors,” says the National Parks Service. “Individuals are more likely to repeat being physically active when the exercise is performed in a natural environment. Communities that are closer to nature are more likely to have stronger ties with their community members.”

4. Sunshine Lover

Jalil loves getting moderate sun exposure for her vitamin D, which is crucial for good health and happiness. “Getting some sun may also shake off the wintertime blues: Research suggests that light hitting your skin, not just your eyes, helps reverse seasonal affective disorder (SAD),” say the experts at Harvard Health. “Moreover, being outside gets us golfing, gardening, and engaging in other types of physical activity.”

5. Skating Queen

Jalil loves skating with her friends. “Since the wheels on rollerblades are aligned in a sort of ‘balance beam’ formation, you need to recruit your core and other stabilizer muscles to keep you upright,” says Marissa Miller, an ACE-certified personal trainer. “I recommend that clients establish an affinity for a certain physical activity before paying any attention to the number of calories burned. If you're sweating and breathing heavily, you'll be getting in some movement that's super beneficial for your cardiovascular, muscular and psychological fitness.”

Kate Upton is giving fans a look at her recent cover of V Magazine with Candice Swanepoel and Daiane Sodre. Upton, 32, shared a picture of the cover where she’s wearing black one-piece Alo Yoga gear, posing with exercise rings. “Had so much fun in Miami shooting the cover of this month’s @vmagazine with some bombshells 💘,” she captioned the post. Here’s how the model and busy mother stays fit and healthy.

1. 30-Minute Workout Sessions

Upton developed her own method of exercise called Strong4Me. “Strong4Me is an at-home fitness program that I created with Ben Bruno that can be achieved in under 30 minutes a day, at home or on the go with minimal equipment,” she told New Beauty. “I like Strong4Me because there’s a big difference between energizing routines vs. energy-suck routines. Doing these quick, efficient workouts consistently provides the added strength and energy I have needed to keep up with my 2-year old during quarantine. This has been more helpful than I could have imagined, and I hope others have found it helpful as well.”

2. Comfortable Style

Upton prioritizes comfort when it comes to her personal style. “I am a function [over fashion] girl for sure,” she told People. “Living in New York and being a mom [Upton shares daughter Genevieve, 5, with husband Justin Verlander], I need to not get the blisters and feel comfortable and confident. When you feel confident in your clothes it shows.”

3. World Travel

Upton is grateful for the opportunities she got from working at a young age. “Growing up in Florida, I was always outside and lived a very active lifestyle along with my three siblings,” she told New Beauty. “We were always horseback riding, at the beach or playing outside. When I started modeling at 15, I wanted to explore the world, and the fashion industry was an amazing way to accomplish that. Starting any career at that young of an age completely shaped the person I am today.”

4. Inspiring Women

Upton is philosophical about the body shaming she endured at the start of her career. “I have to thank the people who did that because it really made me sit back and find out who I was and what meant something to me and how I thought about my body,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “They lashed out on me because they felt insecure about themselves. “I realize that the confidence I had in my body was actually meant to inspire women to love themselves for all their different flaws.”

5. No Filter

Upton is not a fan of the Facetune beauty trend. “I guess this is more on the social media side, but I wish the Facetune trend of altering your appearance in photos would go away,” she told New Beauty. “It ultimately leads to young girls wanting to look like their Facetune-selves rather than their true selves.”

Read on to see 5 ways Kirkconnell stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. Balanced Lifestyle

Kirkconnell works hard, but makes sure she has fun too. "I think the key is balance!” she says. “If you know you are about to indulge in a heavy meal that night, make sure you are getting a good workout in that morning and have a super light and healthy breakfast and lunch… I'm a huge believer in the 80/20 rule, while we love to go out to eat or splurge on big meals, we have more meals that are healthy and nutritious than not. 80% healthy, 20% treats!”

2. Always Ready For a Workout

Kirkconnell makes sure she is always ready for a good workout, even when she’s on the road. “Other than a good pair of sneakers or headphones, I also think some workout gear like Bala Bangles or resistance bands help you get a good workout in anywhere, even in your living room!” she says. “Some of my favorite shoes to work out in lately are either the On Cloudnovas or lululemon Chargefeels, they're so comfortable and versatile and I love the way they look.”

3. She’s a Dancer

Boss Spring/Summer 2023Manny Hernandez/Wireimage

Kirkconnell helped boyfriend Matt James rehearse for his stint on Dancing with the Stars. "She's been my dance partner outside of Dancing with the Stars," James says. "I come back and try to apply the same lessons that I learned during my rehearsals. She's been keeping me in shape!"

4. Sushi Lover

Kirkconnell loves sushi, especially omega-3 packed salmon. “Omega-3 fatty acids may lower your cardiovascular disease risk when you consume them as part of your diet,” says the Cleveland Clinic. “In general, it’s better to opt for food sources (like fish) rather than pills.”

5. Post-Workout Skincare

Kirkconnell makes sure to take care of her skin after getting a workout. “Paula's Choice has some great Gentle Cleansing Cloths that are oil-free and great to use right when you're done sweating,” she says. “I also love to use the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask whenever I'm on the go as a moisturizer.” She also wears sunscreen every day.

Justified star Kaitlyn Dever had a fun-filled trip to the lake with friends, and shared highlights of her hijinks on Instagram. Dever, who played Loretta McCready on the show, posted a picture of herself wearing a black one-piece swimsuit with a white shirt on top, posing on a boat on the water. Another video showed her driving the boat, and riding on a jet ski. Dever has been in the public eye since she was young—here’s how she makes it work.

1. Red Carpet Looks

Beverly,Hills,,Ca.,March,12,,2023:,Kaitlyn,Dever,At,TheShutterstock

Dever loves prepping for big red carpet events. “I’m really inspired by my friends, my fellow actors and the make-up looks they bring out into the world,” she says. “I’m always seeing things on Instagram and wanting to try new things. Recently, I’ve been really into doing a little bit of something on the eye and keeping my skin very clean, glowy and young. I don’t ever want to look older than I am, I want to look my age!”

2. Natural Beauty

Los,Angeles,-,Jun,14:,Kaitlyn,Dever,Arrives,For,HuluısShutterstock

Dever likes a clean, natural look when it comes to style and makeup. “My mom is constantly helping me with everything,” she says. “One thing she always told me was to never pluck my eyebrows, ever, ever, ever. I don’t do anything to my eyebrows now so I’m grateful for that advice! That and wearing sunscreen - I’ve been wearing sunscreen everyday since I was 15 years old. I get dressed up so often, so on the days I don’t have to I'm most likely wearing super baggy clothes, tennis shoes and not a lot of make-up. I’m still trying to to get a smokey eye down, but, if I'm going out with my friends I do winged eyeliner – I've actually got really good at it! I've mastered using a felt tip pen liquid liner.”

3. Calm Before the Storm

Young,Female,Relaxing,In,Warm,Bath,With,Foam,Bubbles,AndShutterstock

Dever preps for big events by relaxing as much as possible. “My plan is to have a long, warm bath and hang out there for a while,” she says. “More coffee probably. Then music is key. I have to put on music. Maybe some John Denver, or I've been listening to a lot of Eric Clapton recently. When the nerves kick in, I might need a quick glass of champagne too…”

4. Proud of Unbelievable

Dever is incredibly proud of her role on Netflix series Unbelievable. "We screened Unbelievable for several congressmen and congresswomen,” she says. “We were trying to get the Debbie Smith [Reauthorization] Act passed, which essentially eliminates rape-test backlog. I could feel that we were making a difference. [The law passed in 2019.] Since Unbelievable came out, I've had so many people sharing their stories with me. It means the world to me."

5. Always Evolving

Dever thrives on being challenged. "I do things that scare me sometimes, but I'm almost addicted to that feeling," she says. “I love mixing it up. I never want to be set in stone with anything I do. There are endless opportunities in this industry, and I'm constantly reminding myself that I can make anything possible for myself."

Discover how elite CrossFit athlete Dani Elle Speegle stays in peak condition with weightlifting, golfing, jumping rope, hiking, and cold plunges.

Dani Elle Speegle isn’t just strong—she’s unstoppable. The elite CrossFit athlete and social media sensation has built a massive following by sharing her intense training sessions and inspiring fitness moments. Recently, she posted a series of weightlifting photos on Instagram, proving once again why she’s a powerhouse in the gym.

“Just a girl and her barbell,” she captioned the post, letting her strength do the talking. From lifting heavy to outdoor adventures, here’s how Speegle stays in peak condition.

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram post, Speegle is seen lifting weights. According to ACE Fitness, doing this has a lot of benefits. “Using heavy weights increases intramuscular coordination, the number of type II motor units and the amount of muscle fibers engaged within a specific muscle. Have you ever felt your muscles shaking while lifting heavy weights? This is because you are recruiting and activating the larger type II muscle fibers, which are only stimulated to work when a muscle is challenged with heavy resistance or working to fatigue.”

She Golfs

Speegle likes to golf to keep herself in shape. She shared a video of herself on the course in this Instagram post. According to Randa aerobic exercise. “Golf can help strength and balance, improve quality of life and provide aerobic exercise. On a regular 18-hole course, most players will walk between four and five miles, burning up to 2,000 calories.”

She's Into Jumping Rope

Speegle shared this video on Instagram of herself competing in Crossfit events. In it, she is seen jumping rope. According to The Cleveland Clinic, jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “Benefits of jump rope can help improve your coordination, get your heart rate going and help burn calories — and it’s an easy, affordable way to get some cardio in.”

She Hikes

Speegle likes to hike to keep herself in shape. She shared this photo on Instagram of herself hiking the Koko Head Summit. Speegle captioned the post, “Woke up and chose pain today. Every 45 min X 3 rounds: Koko head 💀💀💀 Then sat in my car and stared into the abyss while munching on Banan 🥲🥲🥲”

She Does Cold Plunges

Speegle makes sure to recover. One thing she likes to do is cold plunges. Speegle shared this video of herself jumping into a tub. According to The Mayo Clinic, these have a lot of benefits. “Research on cold-water immersion has found evidence that it helps reduce the degree of exercise-induced muscle damage that can occur after physically challenging activities. Less damage leads to less inflammation, which in turn reduces soreness and helps restore physical performance the next day. These benefits may be the result of rapid constriction of the blood vessels due to the cold water. The cold can trigger responses in your body, such as decreased metabolic activity, alterations in hormone production and blood flow, and activation of the immune system.”

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises

Discover how Tvesa Malik, SuperSport Ladies Championship winner, stays in peak shape with weightlifting, core work, and golf.

Golfer Tvesa Malik in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Awesome" Exercises
Tvesa Malik / Instagram

Tvesa Malik isn’t just a pro golfer—she’s a powerhouse athlete dedicated to staying in peak shape. The SuperSport Ladies Championship winner knows that strength and endurance are just as important as skill on the course. That’s why she takes her fitness seriously, incorporating weightlifting, core work, and mobility exercises into her training.

Last year, Malik gave fans a look at her workout routine in an Instagram video, where she powered through hanging crunches, lunges, and weightlifting sessions. She captioned the post, “Got some major work to do before my next session,” proving that even elite athletes are always striving to improve. Here’s a closer look at how Malik keeps her body strong and ready for competition.

She Lifts Weights

Malik is seen doing a lot of weight lifting in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Lifting heavy weights elevates levels of anabolic hormones—specifically testosterone, growth hormone and insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1)—which are used to repair muscle fibers damaged during exercise. This helps the muscle fibers to become thicker and capable of generating higher levels of force.”

She Does Lunges

Malik is seen shifting into lunges in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness says that lunges are a form of unilateral training, and that makes them effective. “Unilateral training is a more effective way to build functional strength (than using both legs) because these types of movement mimic other everyday motions, like walking and climbing stairs — and not just to the working leg. Research suggests the strength gains to the nonworking side are about half of the strength gains of the working side.”

She Does Core Workouts

Malik is seen doing core workouts, like hanging crunches in her Instagram video. Core workouts are extremely important. The Mayo Clinic says, “While it takes aerobic activity to burn fat in your stomach, core exercises can strengthen and tone the underlying muscles. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many activities. When your core muscles are strong, it's easier to swing a golf club, get a glass from the top shelf and bend down to tie your shoes.”

She Does Pull-Ups

An upper body workout that Malik likes to do is pull-ups. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them at the gym. Malik captioned it, “Got some major work to do before my next session.” Asphalt Green says that pull-ups have a lot of benefits. “Pull-ups are a fantastic way to improve upper-body strength. This exercise primarily targets your back and biceps, but involves many stabilizing muscles in your core, arms, and shoulders. Depending on the way you grip the bar, you can even work your chest. Plus, you don’t need any fancy equipment to do a pull-up. Tree branches, scaffolding, and even door frames are all places people can do pull-ups.”

She Golfs

Golf is obviously one of the ways that Malik keeps herself in shape. Better Health says that the sport has a lot of benefits. “Golf can be good for your health and your heart. Walking an average course for a round of golf can be between five to seven kilometres. If you walk 18 holes three to five times a week, you’ll get an optimal amount of endurance exercise for your heart. If you pull your clubs or carry them, you’ll burn even more calories each round and benefit even more.”

Camila Guper / Instagram

Camila Guper is more than just a fitness influencer—she’s a motivation powerhouse. With 1.1 million Instagram followers, she inspires her audience with workout routines, wellness tips, and a disciplined approach to staying fit. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her latest gym session, including a stairclimber workout, a snapshot of her Apple Watch tracking her progress, and a post-workout mirror selfie in pink workout gear.

Her message? Consistency is key. “Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions! Every effort is worth it when you know where you want to go,” she captioned the post. From intense stair workouts to leg-sculpting exercises, here’s how Guper stays in top shape.

She Uses A Stairclimber

In her Instagram post, Guper is seen using the stairclimber. Stair workouts have a lot of health benefits. ACE Fitness says, “Improving metabolic health in terms of lower risks of heart problems and other complications, also by definition improves fitness. You can feel your heart working harder and the fire in your lungs when you ascend stairs. And that’s provoking important changes in your cardiorespiratory system that will make physical activities, like running and walking, feel easier.”

She’s Consistent

Guper makes sure to stay consistent with her workout routines. One way she does so is by staying disciplined. Guper talked about this in the caption of this Instagram post. “Good morning! May we always have the discipline to do what is good for us. Amen 💪🏽🙏🏽✨ 40 min stair + shoulder and chest workout today.”

She Does Lunges

Guper shared some of her favorite lower body workouts in this Instagram video. One thing she is seen doing is lunges. According to The Mayo Clinic, lunges have a lot of benefits. “The lunge is a body resistance exercise that works the leg muscles. Specifically, the lunge targets the quadriceps and the hamstring muscles in the thigh, the gluteal muscles in the buttock, and to a lesser extent, the lower leg muscles.”

She Does Leg Extensions

In the previous Instagram video, Guper is seen using the leg extension machine. Asphalt Green says that leg extensions have a lot of benefits. “These machines provide isolation exercises for your legs. This type of exercise works only one muscle or group of muscles, which means you can build up that part of your body quickly. If you want your thigh muscles to really stand out in those shorts you just bought, the leg extension machine is for you!”

She Spends Time Outside

Guper likes to spend time outside. She shared this set of photos on Instagram of herself enjoying a day by the pool with her dog. Guper captioned the post, “Good Morning! What book are you reading? 📖💚🐺🌮 I'm loving reading How to become super natural! I'm already sharing saying it's a must-read.”
