She Eats Organic

"Some people know, but I'm crazy obsessed about food," she tells the Coveteur. "I started going through my pantry last night and it was just making me so angry some of the ingredients that are in some of our snacks. I don't do my grocery shopping a lot, because I just don't have time, so I was reading and it looks healthy from the packages, but when you read the ingredients none of it is organic. I'm really into organic. I hate the whole GMO situation."

Kourtney, a matcha fan, sometimes hosts a tea ceremony with friends, according to Poosh. And you don't just have to drink it. "Sub green tea for other liquids often called for in gourmet recipes, like wine or stock. It will give incredibly deep, rich flavor to your favorite dishes, plus you won't have to worry about the impact of added alcohol or animal fats on your waistline. Try using it to poach fish or chicken, or as a base for sauces or a super-healthy vegetable soup. You can do the same for light desserts, like poached pears," says Eat This, Not That!

Kourtney "enjoys a trip to the farmers market with her kids," says Poosh. "Ask the vendor about what is currently in season and what will be available in the coming weeks. Being prepared will make meal planning easier, and you'll be able to shop more efficiently during your next visit to the farmers market," says the Mayo Clinic. "This is your chance to load up on organic produce you can't always find at the grocery store. Plus, you might find that the prices are lower since you're buying directly from the source."

"I got really into Ayurveda and did the Panchakarma cleanse [a detoxification treatment involving massage, herbal therapy and other procedures]," Kourtney told Natural Health Magazine. "Through that, I met my yoga teacher, who taught me her way of preparing food. We would do yoga for an hour and then she'd stay for another hour and cook with me. That's where I got all of my rules. In our house, we do everything whole: whole milk and full-fat cheeses. And I use ghee and coconut oil for cooking."

"I am slowly changing my beauty products over to safer choices," she tells Cricket's Circle. "I make sure that our products for Kardashian Beauty are made of non-toxic ingredients — our list of banned substances is longer than the list at Whole Foods, which makes me feel really proud."
