I want to be as healthy as I possibly can be. I just want to make sure that I do everything to take care of myself. Like they say charity begins at home, love begins at home too. In it, she walked on the beach enjoying an ice cream cone. She wore a black swimsuit, looking stunning. She captioned the post, “Cazh beach walks. Coconut ice cream. Holiday mood. 1. She Transformed For A Role

When Chandna signed on to appear in Naagin 5, she had to get in shape. She shared her process to Times Of India. "I had to say bye-bye to all the happy weight and bring a transformation because my character needed that,” she explained. “If you are playing a naagin you need to look sexy, fit and someone who can easily do the stunts. The previous seasons' actresses, who played naagins, had already set a bar so high, that it was important to look different and set a new trend."

2. She Did Her Own Stunts

Entertainment India February 2021Prodip Guha/Getty Images

In Naagin 5, Chandna did a lot of her own stunts. "When I signed up for the show, I did not have time to go to the gym, because we were shooting for 12-13 hours,” she tells Times Of India. “Naagin is not a show that requires you to be at one place throughout the day. The show had a fast pace, we had to run around a lot because of outdoor scenes and do a lot of stunts and action scenes. This helped me burn my calories, so I was burning good calories on the sets, shooting for 12-13 hours."

3. She Believes In Balance

Chandna opened up about her diet to Times Of India. She says that she believes in eating a balanced diet. "I used to eat bhakhri, rice, veggies, chicken and fish. I also consumed jowar bhakhris. I kept away from junk food but I had my 'cheat' days when I used to go out and eat pav bhaji and pizza. The idea was to be physically active and run around a lot, eat in small proportions than totally deprive yourself."

4. She Stays Consistent

Entertainment India - December 2021Prodip Guha/Getty Images

When Chandna isn’t on set doing stunts, she still makes time to workout. She shared some of her favorite exercises to Times Of India. "I am thankful that I achieved my fitness goals playing a Naagin,” she says. “I have time on hand. I will again go back to doing my zumba and pilates to maintain my fitness levels."

5. She Swims

Chandna spends a lot of time in the water. She likes to swim to keep herself in shape, and shares a lot of photos of herself doing this on Instagram. 1. Fresh Lime Soda

Sharma’s go-to drink is fresh lime soda. “Limes are packed with antioxidants and phytonutrients," says Carly Sedlacek RDN, LD. “Limes are low in calories, high in micronutrients and punch above their weight with regard to both water and fiber content. They’re really good for us, but most of us aren’t going to make a snack of them. The juice — without added sugar — is the best we can do.”

2. Running Outside

Sharma loves running outside, especially at the beach. “There’s good evidence that spending time outside can reduce stress, depression levels, and anxiety,” says Josh Lawler, a UW environmental & forest sciences professor. “We suspect that one of the routes for the physical benefits is through [the] decreased stress and anxiety.”

3. She Chooses Happiness

Sharma says she chooses happiness in her personal life. “I don't date much but I have had rough patches in relationships. Ups and down are part of life and moving on is an art of life,” she says. “Break ups were there but that all made me so strong and I am a girl who looks at the broader aspect in life. So pain was there but feeling the pain and being sad is a choice.

So I chose happiness. It took time to heal but today I learned happiness is the most important thing in this world.”

4. Bathing Beauty

Sharma loves to take baths. “Taking a bath has great physical and mental health benefits,” says family medicine provider Amy Zack, MD. “Soaking in a tub is something many people have access to but don’t take advantage of enough. But it can be beneficial for a lot of people.”

5. She Is an Artist

When it comes to her career, Sharma loves the benefits creativity brings to her life. “Artist is an artist, no matter where he/she performs," she says. "It’s always a pack of feelings and entertainment which we have to give to the audience. Films and music videos both tell a story. The only difference is that films are on a larger scale in every form, while music videos take less time but require the same level of consistency and hard work as an artist."

Emily Ratajkowski is steaming things up south of the border – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the model dances around in a red bathing suit with her pal Ziwe, attracting lots of attention. “Escaped to Mexico just for TikTok,” she writes. “Guess we live here now.” How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here are 5 habits responsible for her gravity-defying body.

Yoga

Emily appreciates a zen form of fitness. “I don’t have a trainer, and I don’t really go to the gym,” she told The New York Times. “I’m just not a crazy fitness person. I’m definitely an outlier in the industry,” she added. “And doing yoga a couple of times a week is a really big part of my regimen.” There is a laundry list of reasons to do yoga, explains Harvard Health. “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness.

Baths

emily-instagram-storiesEmily Ratajkowski / Instagram

Emily regularly shares bath photos on her social media feed. found helpful in minimizing anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits. And did you know they are a form of exercise? According to Loughborough University research published in the journal Temperature, relaxing in a hot bath can burn as many calories as a 30-minute walk, about 140 calories.

Sleep

Emily makes sure to get a good night’s sleep "For me, the way I sleep afterwards is one of the main reasons to work out. I am always on my phone working and I think that's affected my sleep. I'm also really light-sensitive. When I work out, it's better than taking a melatonin. Because my body has worked hard, my brain finally rests and I think that is so valuable in this day and age — not to sound like an old geezer, but truly I feel that way," she told InStyle.

Long Walks

Gym Classes

Emily Ratajkowski / Instagram

You might find Emily in a group fitness class. “I'm one of those people who, if I go to the gym by myself, there's a 50/50 chance of me actually working out and really pushing myself, so the class environment works really, really well for me,” Emily told InStyle. “I am also someone who, even in a class, will get chatty and [distracted]. I think that’s the great thing about STRONG — the music keeps me really focused and in the zone,” she continues. “You just feel like you're, you know, Superwoman really pushing herself. You end up working harder and it's a better, more intense workout, without even noticing.”

Hayley Madigan is a fitness expert and influencer. She recently shared a video of herself lifting weights on Instagram, and included a hateful comment she received about not looking as good as a male in it. Madigan responded to the comment in the caption. “We couldn’t care less if men can lift more than us, we will NEVER STOP 👊🏼 We have the discipline to train for years and years and YEARS and yep still only being able to lift a weight that maybe a teenager boy can lift… This is the nature of being a woman and we aren’t crying about it… we are still in the gym every single week pushing ourselves regardless!”

She Lifts Weights

In her Instagram video, Madigan is seen lifting weights. ACE Fitness says that this has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

To build our confidence up and to actually feel SAFER AS A WOMAN! Comparing our ‘gains’ to those of men’s is just pointless, we couldn’t care less if you can lift more than us, we will NEVER STOP 👊🏼”
