Lara Spencer is a TV presenter is known for being the co-anchor for ABC's Good Morning America, but fans also appreciate her good looks. She Lets Herself Have a Cupcake Once In A While

"I eat what I want, in moderation," explained Lara. "I gravitate toward fresh veggies and clean foods, thankfully, but I am also a sucker for a cupcake every once in a while." She continues, saying she makes sure to eat lots of kale, broccoli, blueberries, strawberries and spinach. "We do enough stories on superfoods on GMA. I know what I should be eating, and I really try to stick with that."


She Loves To Swim

For physical activity, she actually used to be a champion diver and still enjoys jumping in the pool for a workout. "I enjoy swimming laps—it's a great workout and also allows me to get into a meditative state so it's very relaxing," Lara says. "I love the quiet and the rhythm of swimming. I do it quite a bit in the summer, but not very much in the winter." 


She Doesn't Take Her Health For Granted

During an interview with Parade, Lara was asked what the biggest health lesson she's learned so far is, and her answer was "don't take it for granted." She continued saying, "just because I was always in great shape, doesn't mean I can rest on my laurels. Life is precious and our bodies need to be cared for every day."


Yoga Is Her Go To Year Round

"I turn to yoga, preferably in a warm room, during the cold months," explains Lara. "I do yoga year round but find myself craving it more in the fall and winter." In addition to yoga, she loves paddle boarding, another good activity for balance. "It's an incredible workout for the arms and core, and a great way to get out on the water. 


She Loves Playing Tennis

"Last but certainly not least, I play tennis year round," Lara said. "I am on a USTA team and just got bumped up to a 4.0 rating so I am really excited. As a former athlete, Lara says she loves the competition. "I play both singles and doubles and would play every day if I could! I wish I had known about tennis as a kid. Unlike platform diving, it's a sport I can play for the rest of my life."
