Lara Spencer is one of the most well-known TV hosts and presenters. Spencer is currently a host of ABC's popular daytime talk show, Good Morning America. Spencer previously hosted the CBS entertainment show The Insider, was a correspondent for CBS' The Early Show, hosted PBS' Antiques Roadshow, and currently hosts HGTV's Flea Market Flip. She Plays Tennis

Spencer tells Shape that she loves to play tennis, especially with her son, Duff. "Tennis is my favorite way to unwind and it's a great family activity," she says. Spencer says that she tries to play tennis after her kids get out of school.

She Loves To Swim

Spencer tells Parade that she is an avid swimmer, especially when the weather's warm. She says, "I enjoy swimming laps—it's a great workout and also allows me to get into a meditative state so it's very relaxing. I love the quiet and the rhythm of swimming. I do it quite a bit in the summer, but not very much in the winter."

She Does Yoga

When the weather gets cold, Spencer says that she has a different, indoor exercise. "I do yoga, preferably in a warm room, during the cold months," she says to Parade. "I do yoga year round but find myself craving it more in the fall and winter."

She Believes in Moderation

Spencer tells Parade that she believes in moderation, and likes to balance her diet with healthy foods and occasional indulgences. "I eat what I want, in moderation," she says. "I gravitate toward fresh veggies and clean foods, thankfully, but I am also a sucker for a cupcake every once in a while. I make sure to eat lots of kale, broccoli, blueberries, strawberries and spinach." Spencer says that stories about food and health on Good Morning America inspire her to eat healthy. "We do enough stories on superfoods on GMA. I know what I should be eating, and I really try to stick with that."

She Doesn't Take Her Health For Granted

Spencer says that she always tries to work on her health, and doesn't take anything for granted. She says to Parade, "Just because I was always in great shape, doesn't mean I can rest on my laurels. Life is precious and our bodies need to be cared for every day."

She Has A Positive Attitude

Spencer says that she's a positive person, and that this helps with her mental health. "I am a big proponent of always looking at the glass half full, rather than half empty," she tells Parade. "I think that outlook on life has kept me healthy and happy, both mentally and physically."
