1. She Drinks Coffee

Laura loves drinking coffee. “Perfect Mocha ... Perfect, in every occasion,” she captioned one of her many caffeine-inspired posts. According to science, drinking coffee is great for your health. A new 2022 study published in European Journal of Preventive Cardiology found that drinking two to three cups a day of most types of coffee – especially a mild to moderate intake of ground, instant, and decaffeinated coffee – may protect you from cardiovascular disease and an early death. Researchers found “significant reductions” in the risk for coronary heart disease, congestive heart failure and stroke for all three types of coffee.

2. She Exercises

Laura spends a lot of time in the gym. “Gotta want it, badly want it! Only with this willpower can we overcome any obstacle,” she captioned a post of her workout. “Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. We know 150 minutes of physical activity each week sounds like a lot, but you don't have to do it all at once,” says the CDC.

3. She Cheats

Laura eats healthy most of the time but allows herself to indulge on occasion. She loves cake, ice cream, pasta with creamy sauces, and pizza. “Sunday night is pizza,” she captioned a post.

4. She Plays Paddle Tennis

Laura loves playing paddle tennis. “Second Padel lesson today 💪🏼 are you playing?” she captioned a post of her fun outdoor workout.

5. She Reads

“We must always be careful about books and what we contain, because words have the power to change us,” Laura captioned a post of herself reading a book. One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

1. She Says, Be the Best You Can Be

“Every woman has a different metabolism and different genetics, so rather than compete with one another, concentrate on yourself and be the best you can be. Everyone has days when they don’t want to show anything. That’s what the good ol’ jeans and a T-shirt are for. So many times, I haven’t felt ready for shoots. I’m like, why didn’t I work out more? But it’s life,” she has said.

2. She is on a “Forever Vacation”

‘Forever on vacation’ is my motto. It’s just the way I take life. Nothing makes me feel that pissed off or out of control. Whatever I do, whether I’m modeling or doing my clothing line, ále by Alessandra, I just want to feel like it’s fun. If you’re doing something you don’t like, you’re wasting time. Life is short. There is so much to see and do and feel. We should enjoy every moment,” she has said.

3. She Fits in a Workout No Matter What

“Since there is a lot to do around the house sometimes I don‘t have much time to work out, in which case I try to do some stretching and hold a plank for five to 10 minutes,” she said in an interview with FOX News.

4. She Hydrates

Her mother and grandmother taught her “The importance of hydrating! When you are dehydrated, you see it on your face and when you've had your share of water, it glows. Nothing is better for your skin than drinking a lot of water and green juices. I also love fresh coconut water bought on the beach,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

5. This is What “Brazilian Beauty Means to Her

Years ago, Ambrossio was asked what “Brazilian Beauty” means to her. “Brazilian beauty is very natural and fresh. When I'm in Brazil, I feel connected to nature and wear as little makeup as possible— a great sunscreen, lip balm, and rouge is simple and chic,” she told Harper’s Bazaar.

6. She Likes These Exercises

“Which exercises should we be doing for a six-pack and a toned” backside? These are my two areas of focus so I do a mix of barre, Pilates and cardio,” she has said. “Pilates (pronounced Pi-LAH-teez) is a system of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates that strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.

In addition, other benefits to practicing Pilates include:

  • longer, leaner muscles
  • injury prevention
  • relief from stress and back pain
  • enhanced athletic performance

Csortan is constantly on the move thanks to her job as a TV host. “I love to travel…that never gets old!” she says. “I traveled the world for almost a decade. I did an Italian Travel show and soon after I found myself hosting a show for The Discovery Network where I was based in the USA called the World’s Best Beaches. I was the action girl, so most of my stories either consisted of getting wet in the ocean or sweating! Waterproof mascara was my favorite – the Maybelline one. My job also sees me doing so many different things such as being a face of the races and doing other endorsements, getting to work with amazing companies and interesting people. My job is very diverse, which I love.”

2. She Stays Active

Csortan makes a point of doing something active every day. “I try to do something daily even if it’s just taking my dog on a really long walk or doing a yoga class or pilates or a more intense class like F45,” she says. “I give my body a break every so often and I do an Eat Fit Food week, I just started today actually with Eat Fit Food, I do the 5 Day Cleanse program which I find really helps. It's taken me almost two years to start getting back somewhat of a routine,” she says. “And even still, I don't have much of one to be honest since I'm really busy. I mean I literally have a two-year-old stuck to my hip 24/7, so I just do not stop.”

Especially when traveling,” she says. “I have a Clinique bronzer that works a treat all over – my décolletage and face etc. I love black eyeliner too. Water Skiing

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

We are committed to bringing you researched, expert-driven content to help you make more informed decisions around food, health, and wellness. We know how important making choices about your overall health is, and we strive to provide you with the best information possible.

Mariana Morais is showing off her ab-fab figure – in a two-piece exercise set. In a new social media post, the fitness influencer flaunts her fantastic figure in a brown sports bra and leggings. “Self Progress & Development is not always linear. Sometimes we take steps back & that’s just a sign to course correct so we can leap forward. If 2024 wasn’t the year you expected, use it as an opportunity to learn, grow, & carry on. It’s you VS you - continue to try, focus on consistency > perfection & you will prevail 🤎 rooting for us all to strengthen our mind & bodies this year,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Strength Training

Mariana relies on old-school strength training to keep her body toned. “Training till failure instead of reps + taking my ab routine up a notch by incorporating weighted exercises,” she wrote about one of her workout tactics. “I can feel my muscles being challenged and am in tune with my movements.” According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:

  • Develop strong bones
  • Manage your weight
  • Enhance your quality of life
  • Manage chronic conditions
  • Sharpen your thinking skills

Prioritizing Digestion and Getting Blood Work Done

Other healthy habits? “Prioritizing digestion,” she writes in the same post. “Making sure I get enough fiber & starting off every morning with a juice cleanse. This has helped me feel so much better everyday.” She also gets regular blood work done. “So important to check your levels and know what’s going on in your body routinely! Don’t skip the doc apts, always better to be preventative.”

Hiking

Mariana enjoys hiking. “Elevation therapy,” she captioned a post from one of her fitness adventures. According to the National Parks Service, the physical benefits of hiking include:

  • Building stronger muscles and bones
  • Improving your sense of balance
  • Improving your heart health
  • Decreasing the risk of some respiratory issues

Pilates

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Emsculpt NEO

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
