1. She Dabbles in Keto

Laura “dips in and out of” the keto lifestyle and “doesn’t keep to it all the time,” she told Express. She says the approach to health “should be a lifestyle” instead of a “diet” and maintains that “life is all about balance.” She will “have a glass of wine or whatever” and loves eating “an omelet with bacon and cheese for breakfast.” For lunch she enjoys “salmon with cauliflower rice, or a steak salad with lots of broccoli and spinach.”

2. She Runs

"Outlander" Season Six PremiereMike Marsland/WireImage

As for fitness, sometimes she likes to “go for a run,” she told Express. “Weirdly I prefer to run on the running machine.” According to the Mayo Clinic, running – either outside or on the treadmill – is great for cardiovascular health, muscle building, and weight loss. “For every mile run, the average person will burn approximately 100 calories,” they say.

3. She Focuses on Diet and Exercise Equally

“You can exercise as much as you like, but unless you follow a really healthy lifestyle and eating plan, then if you want to see results, you’ve got to have a healthy and balanced way of eating,” Laura explained to Express. “There’s no point exercising five days a week and then eating a load of rubbish. It’s sort of pointless. It’s about what you put into your body as much as what you’re actually doing with it.”

4. She Goes to the Gym

The TRIC Awards 2022 - ArrivalsJohn Phillips/WireImage

“I love to exercise. I go to the gym, and over the pandemic I was doing loads of online workouts,” Laura told Express. She prefers lifting weight at the gym over going for a walk outside. She also likes exercising in the morning. “It gives me loads of energy and sets me up for the day,” she says. In addition to helping her stay in shape, exercise “makes you feel good,” she added. “It releases endorphins. I would say to make a habit out of it. If you can make it part of your daily routine, once you stop you’ll miss it and you’ll be like, I need to do it, I need to do it,” Laura added.

5. She Cycles

Laura enjoys cycling. “I've just bought myself an Echelon bike, so I’m going to be able to do some workouts at home with that,” she told Express. She also enjoys heading outside and “going for a bike ride with the kids.” "Pedaling a bike strengthens the leg muscles, especially the quadriceps that form the top of the thigh. But for the most part, cycling is an aerobic, not a resistance, workout — the kind of exercise that gets you breathing harder and your heart rate up and pays cardiovascular dividends. The cardiovascular effects of running and cycling are pretty similar, although running may make the heart work a little harder. In trained triathletes, the maximum heart rate while cycling tends to be about six to 10 beats per minute lower than the rate while running," says Harvard Health.

1. She Takes Dance Classes

Just like her mother, actress and reality star, Lisa Rinna, Hamlin says that she likes to dance. She tells HollywoodLife that she likes to take dance classes every week to help her stay active. “I do dance classes, normally twice a week, in Malibu,” she says.

2. She Loves SoulCycle

Dance classes aren’t the only classes Hamlin takes to stay in shape. She tells HollywoodLife that she loves to go to SoulCycle classes as well, especially if she has a modeling job coming up. “Before a shoot, I’ll go to SoulCycle a couple of times a week.”

3. She Loves Getting Facials

Hamlin has gorgeous skin, and her face has been used for several beauty and fashion campaigns. The secret behind her incredible face? She loves going to medspas and getting facials. “I go to Le Jolie medical spa,” she tells HollywoodLife. “That’s literally my secret.”

4. She Prioritizes Her Mental Health

In a revealing Instagram post, Hamlin opened up about her struggles with mental health, and admits that she didn’t always prioritize it. However, she says that she is working to change that and put herself first. “Right now I must prioritize my mental and physical health although I feel weirdly guilty doing so,” she admits. “I may post when I feel up to it, but I may just take some time off Instagram to rest and heal.”

5. She Makes The Best Of Things

In another Instagram post, Hamlin talked about how she deals with unideal situations. She says that she always tries to make the best of things, and lives in the moment. “I must live in the moment and try to stay happy and healthy. In order to do this I’ve been working out, eating healthy, binge watching catfish, taking long baths, taking my dog for walks, breathing in fresh air in nature, and spending time with my family. Let’s try to make this scenario an IDEAL scenario instead of constantly being upset about what is going on. Everything happens for a reason and maybe the universe is trying to tell us to slow down!!!”

Too Hot To Handle star Carly Lawrence is clearly happiest when she’s in a bikini. The reality star posted a video of herself on Instagram looking stunning in a purple bikini, with one fan commenting that she looks “maravilhosa”. So how does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Lawrence stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bathing Suit Photos!

1. She Loves Oysters

Lawrence enjoys oysters, which are a great source of vitamin D, copper, selenium, iron, vitamin B12, and zinc. “Yes, oysters are very good for you,” says preventive cardiology dietitian Julia Zumpano, RD, LD. “In fact, you probably didn’t know that it’s hard to beat all the health benefits of oysters from a nutritional standpoint. Oysters can really pack a healthy punch. Think of oysters as little shells full of nutrients.”

2. She Stays True To Herself

Launch Of MuzicSwipeMichael Tullberg/Getty Images

Being on a reality show didn’t affect Lawrence’s sense of self. “For me it was easy because I just didn’t have to think about it,” she told COMPLEX. “I just said what I wanted to say, I did what I wanted to do. There wasn’t much thought into it because I was like, this is just who I am as a person. I look back and I’m like, OK, maybe I shouldn’t have done or said that, but then I’m like, well, I’m being authentic. So that’s me. And if people don’t like something that I did or said, then they might just not like me.”

3. She Loves Her “Beach Hair”

Lawrence isn’t a fan of the overly-groomed look, preferring messier “beach hair”. “A lot of people just tell me to brush my hair, which I don’t disagree with them,” she jokes. Lawrence’s hair might actually be healthier this way, experts say, "After only a day of not using irons or heat instruments to style the hair, it will be in the condition that our hair is which is dehydrated, fragile, dull, and lifeless," says Garnier celebrity hairstylist Millie Morales. "After a month, you will notice an incredible, stronger change in your hair. You would have recovered the hydration, the natural oils of your hair and would have strengthened the protective layer of the hair."

4. She Loves the Water

Lawrence has posted lots of snaps of herself frolicking in the ocean (in a bikini, of course!). “The color blue has been found by an overwhelming amount of people to be associated with feelings of calm and peace,” says clinical psychologist Richard Shuster, PsyD. “Staring at the ocean actually changes our brain waves’ frequency and puts us into a mild meditative state.”

5. She Loves to Dance

Lawrence enjoys dancing, based on her TikTok posts. “We know that movement is good for everyone,” says Emily Sandow, supervisor of dance physical therapy at NYU Langone’s Harkness Center for Dance Injuries. “A healthy lifestyle is integrating the mind, body and soul relationship, and dance has all of those characteristics. Everyone can do something, even if it’s just you just tapping your foot. Everyone can do something where they can move their body to music, and that’s really valuable.”

1. She Has This Message for Women

Screen Shot 2021-12-15 at 7.09.32 AMAmelia Hamlin/Instagram

"Today is #InternationalWomensDay, a day where we as women are celebrated," she captioned one clip. "We celebrate the power that being a woman comes with. The strength, the perseverance. We are reminded to be proud of our sexuality, to be proud of our bodies, and to challenge ourselves every day to love ourselves more and more."

"Some days confidence comes easier, sometimes it’s a challenge," she added, "but if we all make a commitment to lift each other up, it will come more often."

2. She Now Loves Herself

Screen Shot 2021-12-15 at 7.09.16 AMAmelia Hamlin/Instagram

"I struggled with an eating disorder when I was 14 and I'm so lucky that I came out of the other side of it," she said. "I learned so many amazing things from it that I honestly wouldn't take back." "I've never loved myself as much as I do now, which is so important. I think it's the most important quality any woman can have," she continued. "It's just self-love, self-respect, self-confidence and body positivity."

3. Her Mom is a Big Inspiration

Of mom Lisa Rinna, Hamlin says: "She taught me how to love myself, how to unapologetically be myself, how to make fun of myself, and self-deprecate myself in amazing ways that actually ended up helping me with my confidence, and not take myself too seriously," she explained. "I think that's a really big key to life."

4. She’s Into Yoga Gear

Screen Shot 2021-12-15 at 7.09.09 AMAmelia Hamlin/Instagram

Hamlin has sported the Alo clothing, a yoga brand. “Practicing slow, controlled breathing stimulates the body's vagus nerve, which takes information about the current state of relaxation and relays it to the rest of the body, including the brain. One area affected when the vagal nerve is stimulated is the parasympathic nervous system, which controls the body's rest and digestion functions. The mindful breathing practiced in yoga increases the activity of the parasympathic nervous system. As a result, yoga lowers the heart rate, improves digestion and quality of sleep, and strengthens the immune system. Another benefit is an improved stress level,” says the Mayo Clinic.

5. She Hits the Gym

Screen Shot 2021-12-15 at 7.09.01 AMAmelia Hamlin/Instagram

Hamlin is frequently photographed leaving a gym. “The Department of Health and Human Services recommends that healthy adults include aerobic activity and strength training in their fitness plans, specifically,” says the Mayo Clinic:

  • At least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or an equivalent combination of moderate and vigorous aerobic activity
  • Strength training exercises of all the major muscle groups at least twice a week.”

Mark Wahlberg isn’t slowing down in his 50s—if anything, he’s more shredded than ever. The actor, producer, and fitness enthusiast has built a reputation for his intense workouts and disciplined diet. In a recent TikTok, he gave fans a sneak peek at what’s fueling his muscle gains, from protein-packed meals to superfoods that keep him energized. If you’re wondering how Wahlberg stays jacked well into his 50s, here’s a breakdown of his go-to nutrition hacks.

He Eats Eggs

In his TikTok, Wahlberg is seen enjoying eggs with sausage. According to University Hospitals, eggs have a lot of health benefits. “At 70 calories each, eggs are a stellar protein source and a nutritional powerhouse. When eaten as part of a balanced diet, eggs provide multiple health benefits and are unlikely to pose a risk for heart disease.”

He Eats Salmon

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying salmon. The Mayo Clinic states that salmon has a lot of benefits. “Seafood in general, and salmon in particular, is a good choice for protein in the diet. If you can use salmon in place of a higher fat meat, that's even better. Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”

He Likes Lemon Juice

Wahlberg is seen enjoying lemon juice in his TikTok. St. Vincent’s Medical Center states that lemon is very beneficial. “Weight-loss studies have also noted the effects of lemon. Drinking lemon water, which keeps you hydrated, increases your metabolism. One glass burns at least six calories. It can also help you feel full, making it easier to resist an urge to snack.”

He Likes Olive Oil

Another thing that Wahlberg is seen eating in his TikTok is olive oil. According to The Cleveland Clinic, olive oil has a lot of health benefits. “EVOO contains more than 20 types of polyphenols, a category of plant-based chemical compounds that help protect your heart and reduce inflammation throughout your body. Polyphenols are a type of antioxidant.”

He Gets Enough Protein

Protein is a big part of Wahlberg’s diet. He is not only seen eating high-protein foods like eggs and salmon in his TikTok, but he is also seen eating protein bars and powders. Piedmont states that protein is extremely important. “Protein is an important building block of bones, muscles, cartilage and skin. In fact, your hair and nails are composed mostly of protein. Your body uses it to build and repair tissue.”

He Eats Blueberries

Wahlberg is also seen enjoying blueberries in his TikTok. The Cleveland Clinic states that blueberries have a lot of benefits. “Because blueberries are high in fiber and lower in sugar when compared to other fruits, they don’t cause your blood sugar to spike. For people with certain health conditions, scientists suspect this positive effect could aid with blood sugar management.”

Rita Ora isn’t just a chart-topping singer and TV star—she’s also serious about staying fit. Whether she’s lighting up the stage with hits like Black Widow or guessing contestants on The Masked Singer, Ora makes sure to carve out time for the gym. In a recent Instagram post captioned "Come to the gym with me," she gave fans an inside look at her workout routine, and it’s packed with powerhouse moves. From treadmill runs to Pilates, here’s exactly how she keeps her body in top shape.

She Strength Trains

Ora is seen using dumbbells and a weighted shoulder press machine in her Instagram video. Both of these are considered strength training exercises. The Mayo Clinic says that strength training has a lot of benefits. “Strength training may enhance your quality of life and improve your ability to do everyday activities. Strength training can also protect your joints from injury. Building muscle also can contribute to better balance and may reduce your risk of falls. This can help you maintain independence as you age.”

She Runs On The Treadmill

Rita snaps a selfie on the treadmill

The first thing Ora does at the gym is run on the treadmill. Healthy Talbot states that this has a lot of benefits. “Jogging or running on a treadmill helps to lose weight as well as burn fat quickly and effectively. Yet it’s easier on your knees and joints than outdoor running. This is the most popular advantage of working out on a treadmill workouts. Besides, these workouts burn calories at a faster rate than other aerobic exercises. To burn calories even faster, you just need to run longer and faster on the machine.”

She Does Tricep Exercises

Rita Ora working her triceps

Ora is seen doing tricep curls in her Instagram video. Gymless says that all tricep workouts have a lot of benefits. “Our triceps muscles enable us to extend the elbows, and it is a powerful extender of the forearm. Triceps are often used for pushing, which is utilized in our everyday activities such as opening a door, inserting a plug into a socket, or moving furniture across the room.“

She Does Leg Presses

Ora is also seen using the leg press machine in her Instagram video. The Mayo Clinic says that this exercise is very beneficial. “The leg press is an exercise you can do with a weight machine to work a variety of muscles in the lower body. Specifically, the leg press targets the quadriceps muscles in the front of the thighs, the gluteal muscles in the buttocks, the hamstring muscles in the back of the thighs, and the calves, all in an integrated fashion. Since the leg press works several muscles at once, it's an especially efficient way to strengthen your lower body.”

She Does Pilates

Rita Ora on a Pilates reformer

Rita Ora/Instagram

The last workout that Ora is seen doing in her Instagram video is a session on the Pilates reformer. Pilates has a lot of health benefits. The Cleveland Clinic says, “Pilates is a form of strength training, but it doesn’t look like some of the other strength training exercises you might be familiar with. Pilates focuses more on improving muscle tone than building muscles, but the result is similar: greater stability and endurance. Pilates isn’t going to bulk you up — if anything, it’s designed to cultivate a longer, leaner look. Still, it can lay a strong physical foundation for muscle-building activities — and may even reduce your likelihood of injury.”

I don't have anything on them today really, except this product, but it's the Rare Beauty lifting gel stuff. I mean, Selena, 'thank you' is all I can say. I love it, so I'm going to put it up so that you know what it is, but that's what it is. That is the brow lifting that people are talking about. That's all I got."

For Hewitt, fitness is all about variety. “I try to switch it up a bit,” she told OK! Magazine. “I’ve found that if every week I do something different it tricks my muscles into not getting used to doing any one thing. I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. I wear 10 pound weights on my ankles while I’m working just so that as I’m moving during the day I’m constantly building muscle. It’s not great for your back but I’m doing it anyway. I do a booty workout thing that I just did for Shape, which was really fun. And I do Zumba. I have DVDs and I dance around like a crazy person in my house.”
