She Once Followed the Orthomolecular Diet
Laura lost a ton of weight on an orthomolecular diet, "based on the balance of nutrients, high protein consumption and the distribution of food in five daily meals," her nutritionist told "Very Good Morning." Now she claims that detox supplements help her stay in shape.
She Does Hyperbaric Chamber Sessions
Laura recently had surgery and relied on hyperbaric chamber sessions for her "healing and recovery" she revealed in a post, sharing some of the benefits. "Hyperbaric medicine consists of breathing pure oxygen at a higher concentration than the atmospheric. The hyperbaric chamber allows us to bring that oxygen to all of our tissues both central and peripheral," she wrote, adding that it can help accelerate healing, improve sports injuries, and raise hormonal levels.
She Hydrates
Laura maintains that she drinks "plenty of water" and prioritizes hydration. According to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine men should drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day and women about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids.
She Does Yoga
Laura also gets her zen on with the help of yoga. "To know harmony you need to go through chaos," she captioned a post. The American Osteopathic Association explains that there are more than 100 different types, or schools, of yoga. Most practices include breathing exercises, meditation, and assuming postures (sometimes called asana or poses) that stretch and flex various muscle groups."
