Sanchez likes to cook, and she likes to make recipes that help the environment. In this video she posted on Instagram, she shared her recipe for hummus. She uses ingredients like tahini, chickpeas, and garlic in her recipe. Sanchez captioned the post, “This hummus recipe is simple, delicious, and climate-friendly! It’s the perfect kick off to a new series I’m starting sharing with tips, activities, and simple climate-friendly things you can do to help the planet! I’m calling it #ClimateFriendlyFriday Chickpeas are an easy source of plant-based protein and release less greenhouse gasses than many animal proteins. 2. She Does Quick Workouts
Sanchez has a busy schedule. However, she always makes sure to workout on a regular basis. She shares a lot of her favorite exercises on Instagram. Sanchez writes in the caption of this video that her trainer has her doing quick workouts. “I only had 20 minutes to workout before taking kids to school. @wesokerson said it was enough time. He was right.”
3. She Works Out Her Legs
Sanchez doesn’t skip leg day. In the previous Instagram post, Sanchez and her trainer are doing lower body workouts. She captioned it, “Leg Workout: With some upper body/and cardio. Nordic hamstring Curl x 12. (Focus on the down phase and help yourself up by pressing with arms). Thrusters x 12. Bench step overs x 20 (10 each side). Step up knee drive x 20 (10 each side). Complete all four exercises then take a 1 min. Break 4-5 rounds. 15/20 min total work time.”
4. She Weight Trains
One type of workout Sanchez enjoys doing is weight training. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing strength training exercises. She captioned it, “Getting in my workout before the holiday weekend takes over! Happy 4th of July weekend. ❤️🤍💙 Workout: upper body pressing day. Incline Dumbbell Press. 3 sets x 12 reps. Barbell bench Press. 3 sets x 12 reps. Dips on Parallette Bars (band assisted) x 12 reps.”
5. She Hikes
Sanchez does a lot of outdoor workouts to stay in shape. And sometimes she’s joined by her family. One thing Sanchez likes to do is go on hikes.
