She Battles Addiction

Leah sought treatment after becoming addicted to pain pills when her doctor prescribed them to manage back pain following the birth of her daughter Adalynn in 2013. "[People] don't have to feel ashamed, they don't have to feel alone in their battle with addiction," she told People in 2020. "The first step really is to own it and accept it. Want better for your life, want better for your community. It takes opening up and being raw, being vulnerable and allowing others to see who you truly are to begin to heal." While she has spoken extensively about her sobriety, in her latest Instagram post she is drinking a hard seltzer.

She Is a Vegetarian

Leah also went vegetarian in 2019 after her dog died. "Do you know that your body naturally produces protein?" Leah told Kailyn Lowry during her Coffee Convos podcast. "Well, I'm learning, too. I've only been vegetarian since the beginning of October, but I have no desire whatsoever to eat meat. My mind f*cks with me, so sometimes I'm like, 'Ooh, I really want chicken wings,' but then I'm like, 'How the f*ck did I say that in my mind?'" She added, "After my dog died, I [realized] he had feelings and… I don't want to eat any of that."

She Eats Lots of Carbs

On the podcast she also revealed details about her diet. "Beans, rice, that's mostly what I eat. [And] pasta, I've been on this pasta kick," she said. "I thought I was going to gain so much weight because I was eating so many carbs, but our body breaks down the carbs differently when we're not eating meat."

She Exercises

Leah enjoys exercising. A few of her go-to workouts? Strength training and yoga. "Enjoying new experiences, stepping outside of my comfort zone. Making some changes. And getting flexible @yogapowerwv without a trip to the hospital. Not your typical yoga! ??," she captioned a now deleted post of herself doing aerial yoga.

She Hikes

Leah also enjoys hiking. The star regularly hits the trails, whether home in West Virginia with her girls or at the celeb-hotspot Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles.

She Uses Workout Apps

Leah also relies on workout apps, like Flat Tummy App, which is "totally obsessed" with. "Not gonna lie, I usually fall off this stuff after the first few days," she wrote in a post. "But these workouts take less than 30 mins, no equipment required.. so I don't even have to leave the house."
