1. She Is Focusing on Self-Care

In a recent interview with People, LeAnn revealed that she recently started focusing more on self-care. "About six months ago, I started really focusing on taking care of myself," she told them. Breathwork and meditation are an essential part of her new routine. "A big part of my life has been overriding my body because I've had to show up and be on all the time. I've had to care about what people think of me for so long. So not abandoning myself and what I need has been a big shift."

2. She Is Committed to Fitness

LeAnn tries to work out four days a week, no matter where she is. “I take a jump rope with me everywhere I go, so it’s easy to do and easy to do bodyweight workouts in my dressing room,” she told Us Weekly. During her workouts she tries to focus on her glutes. “I do like my butt,” she confessed. “I did something on Instagram called Tight Tush Tuesday and everybody kind of freaked out about it, so it’s become a thing. I work pretty hard on my butt.” Tennis is another one of her favorite ways to sweat.

3. She Is a Fan of the Workout Buddy System

LeAnn has a workout buddy in her husband, Eddie Cibrian, who is “on the same page” as her when it comes to health and fitness. “He likes to be a boy when he works out and make noises and grunt and stuff. I’m like, ‘I can’t even deal with you right now,’” she revealed. The duo go on walks and hikes together, take SoulCycle classes, and help each other with healthy eating. “When I first met him, he was not the healthiest eater at all,” she says. “But I think I’ve gotten him over on my team.”

4. Her Diet Is Healthy

LeAnn maintains a healthy diet. She usually starts the day with a green smoothie, and eats a healthy lunch and dinner, maybe something with a cauliflower base, topped with a protein like marinated and baked tempeh or grilled chicken, and lots of greens and veggies. However, she does allow herself to indulge on occasion. “Sometimes nourishment is the cake, the chips, the pizza, and the mac and cheese," she told Women’s Health.

5. She Chants

LeAnn is a big fan of meditation and chanting, even releasing a chant record, CHANT: The Human & The Holy, in 2020. “I've been creating chants to infuse and send out alongside of my @soulofeverle candles and I had no idea how they would be received, or how much you would connect with my new adventures. I felt so inspired by the overwhelming LovE that you sent my way that I knew I wanted to expand upon the clear nod from the universe that I was on to something special,” she wrote.

This is...almost 40. LeAnn Rimes celebrated her 39th birthday this weekend, happy with her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian (“Naps and Walks with you are my favorite”). She captioned an instagram photo her on a boat in a bikini with: “This is 39! #happybirthdaytome #lakelife #happyplace #birthday #39 #followthesun #virgo #virgobaby” (As with many Virgos, it didn’t take long to move on to fall; she later Tweeted: “Ok, my bday is over and now I’m ready for pumpkin everything, sweaters, soup, cozy nights by the fire… all the things! #bringonautumn.”) Read on to see 5 ways LeAnn Rimes stays in shape and the photos that prove they work—and to get beach-ready yourself, don't miss these essential 30 Best-Ever Celebrity Bikini Photos!

1. She Meditates

Rimes loved chanting so much, she released an album called CHANT: “The Human & The Holy. “As I started meditating I started chanting and singing. And as I felt what was coming through needed to come through and felt good, I would press record on my phone and get it down, then expand it from there,” she told Forbes. “Chanting became part of my journey in learning to take my own voice back,” Rimes explains. “I feel like so much of it has been given away outwardly, but I’ve never really used this incredible instrument I have for my own healing.”

2. She Has Boxed

The World Premiere Of Disney's "THE LION KING"Jesse Grant/Getty Images

“Boxing is one of the best workouts you could possibly do. A two-minute round doesn’t sound like much, but when you’re moving constantly and throwing punches, it wears you out. And boxing workouts really build up your stamina,” she once said.

3. She’s Serious When Working Out

You won’t find Rimes goofing off in the gym. “I’m serious about my exercise. I don’t just doodle around. I see people at the gym talking on their cell phones. If they think their bodies are gonna change, you’ve got to put in the effort!”

4. She Believes in “Nourishment”

Stir,Fry,Chicken,And,Vegetables,With,Rice,In,White,Bowl,Shutterstock

"Nourishment usually looks like high-quality, healthy, whole foods, but sometimes nourishment is the cake, the chips, the pizza, and the mac and cheese," LeAnn tells Women's Health. "It’s all a balance." She told the magazine she usually eats leftovers for lunch, for example. "Our leftovers range from mushroom and poblano tacos in almond flour tortillas, to smoky white bean and greens soup, to a delicious chicken and veggie stir fry," she explains.

5. She Has Faced Down Her Anxiety and Depression

“I think it was the biggest gift I’ve ever given myself,” Rimes told Forbes about checking into a clinic to help with her anxiety and depression nearly a decade ago, “to recognize when enough was enough and to ask for help. It was the beginning of the past eight years of my life, of allowing myself to open up in a different way, and really shift myself into a different headspace.” If you need help, don’t hesitate. “I began confronting things I ran away from,” she says, “from the time I was a child, just to survive in the public eye. Growing up the way I did, with all eyes on me, it has taken time to really connect with my true self. As the daughter of parents who divorced at 14, at the height of it all, I had to shut it off to be able to thrive and contain my work. So, when I decided I wanted to change the way I was experiencing life, it led me on this journey.”

1. She Loves To Box

McSweeney revealed on the Bravo podcast, The Daily Dish, that she loves to box. She even says that boxing has helped her prepare for all the drama and craziness of being a Real Housewife. “I mean, it’s such a psychological and mental strengthening exercise. It definitely helped me prepare.”

2. She’s Sober

"Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of The Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It" Book Launch PartyJamie McCarthy/Getty Images

In an interview with Yahoo Life, McSweeney revealed that she was sober, and had thought about making the choice to do so for a while. She said that the pandemic and lockdowns helped her make the choice to get sober. "I realized that it was gonna just go so dark so quick," she says. "…It's very hard to drink in a light and fun way during a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic when you’re stuck at home, and people are dying everywhere. So yeah, I think that that kind of definitely put it in a full-speed stop."

3. Her Take on Fame

“I’m kind of the same [since becoming a Housewife]. I’m the same, but my life is a little different. It doesn’t feel like anything is different, but I know it is. I am still shocked that people recognize me. I always think that it’s someone I know when they’re looking at me and they say, ‘Hi’—like I know them from somewhere. Obviously, I think the show gave my life a boost. I needed a little boost and that’s what it did. I will say that I am a lot busier than I have been in a while, but all good stuff,” she told NewBeauty.

4. She Has a Book Coming Up About Mental Health

“I think that one of the best parts about being on the show has been being able to reach people and to have conversations about different topics, like mental health,” she told NewBeauty. She was diagnosed with bipolar II. “I was stunned when it got brought up on the show. but in hindsight, I’m so happy it did. My book”—Chaos Theory: How to Embrace the Unexpected and Find Meaning in the Madness, coming out in April—“it’s going to cover a lot of that stuff, too. I feel like we have been in a collective mental health crisis…our world is upside down on so many levels, but I think that the conversation has been brought to the forefront. There’s still so much stigma around it, though. I think we still have a long way to go.”

5. She Has Done Anti-Workouts

“I just started posting these little work out videos to help me motivate myself to work out,” McSweeney, 37, told Page Six. “I called them ‘anti-influencer’ workouts because I am not a fitness influencer nor do I care to be.” These “non-workout workouts” involve yoga poses, too. “I’m not a professional,” she told us. “I’m just a regular chick trying to not let herself go during the quarantine.”

I’ve been doing pilates, I’ve been doing yoga, I’ve done just plain old walking. Over the past few years, Sydney Sweeney has become one of America’s sweethearts with celebrated roles in everything from hit HBO shows Euphoria and White Lotus to big-screen movies Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Anyone But You. In addition to her impressive acting ability, the star is a total bombshell and has one of the fittest figures in Hollywood. Here are the top 5 habits that help her stay fit at 27.

Water Skiing

Sydney Sweeney arrives to "The Road to the Golden Globes Party"

Sydney has been water skiing since she was a toddler. “The moment I could walk, my mom put me on what’s called a U-board to learn how to ski,” she told Women’s Health. “I remember that whenever we would go by the docks of my grandma’s or my cousin’s house, I’d wave. I felt so cool because I could take off one hand. That’s my earliest memory of skiing, but I’ve been doing it as long as I can remember. It’s my favorite.” How does it help her achieve her amazing body? “It’s a lot of upper body strength, it’s balance, it’s core, it’s legs—you get tired really fast,” she says. “I see such a change in my body after an entire summer of [skiing]. My arms are stronger, more sculpted. My abs are rock solid. But I never look at it as a workout because it is so much fun,” she said.

Morning Workouts

Sydney mixes up her exercise routine, but likes to get workouts over with early in the day. “I like to work out in the morning, so I’ll either go for a run or I’ll go to Solidcore,” says Sydney. The high-intensity, low-impact Pilates-inspired workout “makes me feel so strong, but also elongated,” Sydney said about her sweat sessions. “I feel so good afterwards.”

Self-Care

Sydney engages in self-care activities. “I love to paint, and I love to read,” she said. “Those are the activities that are just for me.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years than those who weren't readers or who read periodicals.

She Walks and Hikes

One of the ways she treats her anxiety is by spending time outdoors with her dog, Tank. She takes him on walks or hikes. Going for a daily walk can be a game changer, especially at a brisk speed. One study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that walking at a brisk pace for about 30 minutes a day reduced the risk of heart disease, cancer, dementia, and death, compared with walking a similar number of steps but at a slower pace.

Mariana does reformer Pilates. “POV: Stepping into the prettiest torture chamber,” she wrote across a video of herself at the studio. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

Mariana recently got an aesthetic body treatment, Emsculpt NEO. “I’ve heard all the rage about the benefits to spot reducing fat & toning muscle so I had to give it a try to target those pesky lower abs. It was a 10/10 & a great addition to my workout routine,” she wrote.
