In the story, Rimes is seen holding a plank from her hands for the duration of one verse, and anytime the word "Jolene" is not sung. Planks are a popular way to get exercise, and they are very effective. A Healthine article medically reviewed by Daniel Bubnis, MS, CPT, states, "Planks require your arms, your legs, and all of your abs, making them an all-encompassing workout and a more efficient way to exercise."

She Jump Ropes

Rimes makes sure to workout with her busy schedule, by taking exercise equipment with her. Her go-to? Jumping rope. "I take a jump rope with me everywhere I go, so it's easy to do," she tells UsWeekly
