A part of the "Jolene Challenge" involves doing a push-up every time the word "Jolene" is sung in the song. Rimes is seen doing multiple push-ups in her story, most of which are done during the chorus.
She Does Planks
In the story, Rimes is seen holding a plank from her hands for the duration of one verse, and anytime the word "Jolene" is not sung. Planks are a popular way to get exercise, and they are very effective. Rimes says that she likes to focus on lower-body exercises, specifically those that target one area. "I do like my butt," she tells UsWeekly. "I did something on Instagram called Tight Tush Tuesday and everybody kind of freaked out about it, so it's become a thing. I work pretty hard on my butt."
