She Believes In Balance
When it comes to her diet, Rimes eats pretty healthy. However, she also believes that a healthy diet includes some indulging once in a while. "Nourishment usually looks like high-quality, healthy, whole foods, but sometimes nourishment is the cake, the chips, the pizza, and the mac and cheese," Rimes tells Women's Health. "It's all a balance."
She Loves Tea
Rimes is a big tea drinker. She tells Women's Health that she makes her own iced tea when the weather gets warm. "Now that it's getting warmer outside, I've also been brewing Leaves and Flowers Van Van Tea and putting it on ice," she explains. "It tastes exactly like Fruit Loops, so it's refreshing and kinda fun."
She Eats Healthy Meals
Rimes tells Women's Health that she usually heats up last night's dinner for lunch. She also says that those leftovers are pretty healthy. "Our leftovers range from mushroom and poblano tacos in almond flour tortillas, to smoky white bean and greens soup, to a delicious chicken and veggie stir fry," she explains.
She Enjoys Sweet But Healthy Snacks
Rimes tells Women's Health that she likes to enjoy a treat after dinner. However, she makes sure to choose a healthy option. "I am a bit of an after-dinner snacker," she says. "Barnana Dark Chocolate Banana Bites are my favorite treat, and I love an apple with a little peanut butter."
She Keeps Her Skin Moisturized
Rimes struggles with psoriasis, which means her skin can dry out easily. "Moisturizing has always been a big deal because of that," she says to Today. One of Rimes' favorite moisturizing products is Jose Rosebook Vital Balm Cream. "Of course with me traveling all the time, my skin can dry out very easily, so that keeps my skin super hydrated."
