LeAnn recently started focusing more on self-care. "About six months ago, I started really focusing on taking care of myself," she told People in a recent interview. Breathwork and meditation are an essential part of her new routine. "A big part of my life has been overriding my body because I've had to show up and be on all the time. I've had to care about what people think of me for so long. So not abandoning myself and what I need has been a big shift."
2. She Is Committed to Fitness
LeAnn aims for four workouts per eweek, no matter where she is. “I take a jump rope with me everywhere I go, so it’s easy to do and easy to do bodyweight workouts in my dressing room,” she told Us Weekly. She does a lot of glute work. “I do like my butt,” she confessed. “I did something on Instagram called Tight Tush Tuesday and everybody kind of freaked out about it, so it’s become a thing. I work pretty hard on my butt.” Tennis is another one of her favorite ways to sweat.
3. She Is Working on Balancing Her Hormones and Gut Health

“I started working with this incredible doctor, Dr. Mindy Pelz, on balancing my hormones and working on my gut health. We were all sanitizing the shit out of ourselves for the last three years, but our skin has healthy bacteria on it, and every time we put on antibacterial stuff to kill the germs, we kill absolutely everything on our skin, which has a connection to our gut. When we kill the good stuff, it can cause negative interactions with the gut and change it,” she told New York Magazine in a recent interview.
4. Her Diet Is Healthy
LeAnn maintains an incredibly healthy diet, starting the day with a green smoothie, and eating a healthy lunch and dinner, maybe something with a cauliflower base, topped with a protein like marinated and baked tempeh or grilled chicken, and lots of greens and veggies. However, she does allow herself to indulge on occasion. “Sometimes nourishment is the cake, the chips, the pizza, and the mac and cheese," she told Women’s Health.
5. She Eats for Her Period Cycle

LeAnn designs her diet around her period. “Like I said, I’ve been really focusing on my hormone health as I’ve turned 40 and preparing my body for the easiest menopausal transition eventually possible. So I’ve been really eating for my cycle. That means I eat keto during the first half of my menstrual cycle, and then I eat a lot more carbs on the back half. When I get to the second half of my cycle, I carry these potato chips around with me. I’m like, I can have all the carbs right now, and dig into the potato chips,” she told New York Magazine.
6. She Uses a Tracking Ring
LeAnn is one of the many celebrity obsessed fans of the Oura tracking ring. “I love information and numbers and being able to track my wellness journey. I love to know how far I’ve walked, how I’ve slept. I’m just a Virgo in that way. But I really wanted to get the Oura ring to track sleep because I sometimes have a hard time sleeping and staying asleep. It gives you a readiness score in the morning, which helps me gauge how well I’m sleeping and how much energy I can expend that day, helping me focus on the days when I don’t have a lot of energy to relax a little more and give my body what it needs,” she told New York Magazine.
