1. She Focuses on the Mental and Physical Benefits of Exercise
“People forget about that part of it and will often just focus on the physical benefits. But when you workout, you're also getting endorphins that make you feel good, you sleep better and you don't seem to stress out as much. I also like the idea that when you work out, you're taking time for yourself. It's self-care,” she recently told Health.
2. She Avoids Alcohol

After struggling with alcohol for many years, Lohan maintains that she now lives a sober lifestyle. “I avoid alcohol,” she told The Mirror. “In fact, I would rather go out diving in the sea at night than drink.” "Moderate alcohol use is defined as one drink a day for women of all ages and men older than age 65, and up to two drinks a day for men age 65 and younger," says the Mayo Clinic. "Too much alcohol may cause chronic inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), which can impair its ability to secrete insulin and potentially lead to diabetes."
3. She Does Yoga

One form of fitness that Lohan likes is yoga. You can often find her striking a post on social media. “Starting the day with yoga,” she captioned a photo of herself decked out in workout clothes.

Lohan’s workout routine mostly consists of running. “I work out three or four days a week. I'm not an outdoor runner, but I love the treadmill. I'll just put my headphones on, put the treadmill on an incline, and alternate between speed walking, jogging, and sprinting,” she told Health.
5. She Prioritizes Self-Care
Self care is “about taking care of yourself physically and mentally,” Lohan told Health. “For me, having a good skincare routine is part of it, as is eating healthy. But it's also about the people you surround yourself with. You have to make sure you have a good support system and the people around you provide good stability.”

Lohan tries to “focus on balance” when it comes to her diet. “I love cooking and looking at recipes, so that's something that helps me incorporate healthy foods. And I don't have a sweet tooth,” she told Health. Sometimes she craves fast food, but she has a trick for not over-indulging. “When I do, I'll go for a kids' meal—that's my trick. My fiance and siblings all make fun of me for it. I really only do that once in a blue moon,” she added. “Again, it's about balancing those things with lots of other healthy, nutritious options.”
7. She Meditates Daily

“I meditate daily,” Lohan revealed to Health. “Once a day I take 10 to 15 minutes and I do some breathing work paired with some spiritual prayers. It gives me time to focus. I will actually go into the bathroom to meditate. I turn on the shower and leave it running while I do it. It may sound weird, but the sound of the water calms me—it's cozy and feels like no one can bother you.”
