Lisa Haydon is on vacation in beautiful Bali. Naturally, the star of Housefull 3 is spending time at the beaches. One thing she is doing is going surfing. Haydon posted a series of photos on instagram of herself on her board. In it, she wore a black bikini, looking gorgeous. She Grew Up Exercising
Haydon says that she grew up working out, so staying fit is second nature to her. In a Vogue interview, Haydon credits her mother with helping her discover this. "All credit to my mother who, despite having to look after eight children, always made time for exercise. She'd work out to Jane Fonda and later Kathy Smith and Cindy Crawford in between managing us. I soon joined her, as I loved aerobics and its accompanying music and the gorgeous swimsuits these women wore."
She Surfs
Haydon is an avid surfer. She loves to ride the waves, and posts a lot of photos about it on Instagram. She posted this stunning photo with the caption, "Friday nights." "If you can get to a beach and have the courage to get on a board, it could benefit your brain," says the Emory Brain Health Center. "Science is showing that surfing can lead to feelings of calmness can help ease stress, anxiety, and depression. The U.S. Navy is in the middle of a $1 million research project that began two years ago and will finish later this year investigating the therapeutic potential of surfing for military personnel with PTSD, depression, or sleep problems surfing's already being used in some veterans programs located in coastal areas. She Does Aerial Work
Haydon loves to do aerial exercises as a way to stay in shape. One way she uses the silks is to help her stretch and gain flexibility. She posted this photo on Instagram of herself in a split on the silks. Haydon captioned the post, "Extend your limits."
She Still Cheats
Haydon revealed some of her wellness secrets in a video for Vogue. When it comes to her diet, she says that she's not afraid to cheat. "Any day can be a cheat day," Haydon said. The actress' go-to indulgences are "Cheese. Chocolate." "Have a small treat when you want to throughout the week. Then, you'll be less likely to go overboard on weekends," suggests the Cleveland Clinic. "Start your day with a well-balanced breakfast and don't skip meals. Being consistent gives you more self-control in your food choices and the moment."
She Planks
In her Vogue video, Haydon was asked about her favorite workouts and what she's able to do. The actress revealed that she is quite good at planking. When asked how long she could hold a plank for, Haydon answered, "3 and a half, 4 minutes."
