1. Do Strength Training and Cardio
Luann’s workout routine is a combination of strength training and cardio. "I do weights for the arms because I have to wear these dresses that are sleeveless, and then the legs and then the tummy so I have my routine that I do," she told Life & Style. She also runs on the treadmill, warming up pre-workout with 15 minutes of cardio, and then moves on to "arms, leg lifts and abs." She captioned it: "Money can’t buy you abs. Working out and staying healthy!”
2. Find a Sport Your Love
Luann also found a sport that she loves – tennis. “You know summer has started when @mrsjillzarin & I play tennis like the OG days,” she captioned a recent post. What makes the courtside activity a great workout? ACE Fitness explains that it blends together cardio and aerobic exercise. "While tennis provides numerous health benefits—improved aerobic fitness and anaerobic endurance, muscular fitness (grip strength and endurance), flexibility, multiple skill parameters (balance, speed, agility and quickness), reactivity, and power—it also is psychologically demanding," they say.
3. Do Yoga
Luann is also a yoga poser. “Getting centered post #bravocon,” she captioned a post. She even hosts wellness retreats in Tulum, Mexico. "Mindfulness refers to focusing your attention on what you are experiencing in the present moment without judging yourself," says Harvard Health. "Practicing yoga has been shown to increase mindfulness not just in class, but in other areas of a person's life. Researchers describe mindful eating as a nonjudgmental awareness of the physical and emotional sensations associated with eating."
4. Take a Hike

Luann also loves to get fresh air and blast calories in the process. "I go hiking upstate in my house," she told Life & Style. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service.
5. Follow the Mediterranean Diet
Luann eats clean and healthy, making sure to “stick to a protein-based, Mediterranean diet," she told People in July 2020. The diet is considered one of the healthiest on the planet, focusing mostly on foods native to the area around the Mediterranean Sea. Think olive oil, fresh fish, nuts, fruits, and veggies. "Switch from whatever fats you use now to extra virgin olive oil. Start by using olive oil in cooking, and then try some new salad dressings with olive oil as the base. Finally, use olive oil in place of butter on your crusty bread," says Harvard Health. "Eat nuts and olives. Consume a handful of raw nuts every day as a healthy replacement for processed snacks."
6. Hydrate
Luann emphasizes the importance of hydration “and drinking enough water to hydrate the skin,” she told People. “Remember to drink 20 min before & 20 min after meals.” She also uses Dr. Daryl Gioffre’s mineral & green juices every morning. In green juices and smoothies, "the vegetables add a variety of vitamins and minerals, a ton of fiber, and they also add more bulkiness to that smoothie. So you can add a variety of different vegetables. Greens are a good way to go. I like to choose my greens frozen, because again, they tend to blend better, and I add less ice. So greens, celery, even Asparagus or cucumbers. Those are all great vegetables to try it in a smoothie," says the Cleveland Clinic.
