Vit made it clear the best way to recover from having a baby is to be sensible both during and after pregnancy and childbirth. "I had been training before I got pregnant, I also did it during the pregnancy, until the last day of delivery, and as soon as they released me I went back to my routines,” she captioned an Instagram post of her body six months postpartum. “There is no more secret than a healthy diet (with foods that are as little processed as possible and physical exercise. Without obsessions, I never did a strict diet, on the contrary, I included more variety in my meals because I was aware that I was feeding my baby in the tummy, and now with exclusive breastfeeding."

Vit lifts heavy weights as part of her training routine. “Weight training helps to increase bone density - that’s really important for women as our estrogen levels dip and bone density decreases once we hit around 30,” says trainer Caroline Bragg. “It also releases endorphins, so it’s all about helping that positive mind-set. One thing that’s really big at the moment is loneliness, and any exercise is going to help that by bringing you into contact with other people.”

Vit shared her typical ab workout online. “The core actually comprises many muscles that run along the entire length of the torso, front and back, including the inner thigh, hamstrings, glutes, and pelvic floor,” says posture and movement expert Ivana Daniell. “They create a natural corset that supports our posture.”

5. Collagen Supplements

Vit includes collagen supplements in her wellness routine. “Collagen benefits your joints, tendons, and ligaments by allowing them to glide and move with ease — much like how oil benefits a car!” says Amy Myers, MD. “With age, and as your collagen production depletes, your joints can become stiff, swollen and painful, even causing a lack of mobility. Collagen contains the amino acids glycine and proline, which help to support joint mobility and a healthy inflammatory response.”
