She Exercises Every Day
Mabel doesn't skip a workout. "I try to exercise every day even if I'm recording. When I don't have a lot of time I try, even if they are not long routines, to do something every day. I need exercise and music to stay on top. To vibrate where I like," she told Fit by Bodytech. "I have exercised every day since I was twenty-five."
She Allows Herself to Rest
Mabel does give herself breaks from exercise. "There was a time when I loaded my TRX. Now I understand that I need to rest. If I go away for a week I try to take it soft. If I had a slower work rhythm I would surely take it, but now I do need to focus on rest," she added.
She Loves Cardio
What type of workouts does Mabel do? "I suck at doing weight training. I love doing cardio but I have a hard time doing repetitions," she told Bodytech. Physical activity is anything that gets your body moving. Each week adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
She Is Disciplined
"Exercise taught me
," Mabel said. "When you don't want to go and you force yourself, when you commit, that changes your life and makes you have a strong mind. I work hard on discipline."
Her Diet Is Healthy
Mabel maintains a healthy diet. "Now I am doing a whole treatment with a bioenergetic and my diet has changed to be a pro-health and pro-energy balance," she said. She tries not to eats sweets, which she said is hard for the first three days and then gets easier. "The first three days you will start to think: I want sweet, I want sweet, I want sweet, but you change it for a stevia juice or sweet and then you will not feel the need to eat more," she explained.
She Exercises to Feel Good
Working out isn't just about looking good for Mabel. "The truth is that I exercise to feel good. For what it generates in my brain. Many women who have super worked bodies seem divine to me. I try to have everything in my place, but that's all. I don't go there anymore. My goal is to feel good about myself and release endorphins to feel happy," she said.
