She's Proud of Herself
Pettis has been acting for a long time, and she's had to deal with rejection for a long time. However, she hasn't let this get her down. She told her secret to Composure Magazine,"For an actor, it can be a lot of pressure to always have something going on. This business is a rollercoaster & it's easy to get discouraged when you're in between jobs. But you just have to stay positive and be proud of how much you've already accomplished so far!"
She Uses Anti-Humidity Spray
Pettis has amazing hair, and she makes sure to take care of it. She spilled some of her secrets to GirlsLife.com, including her favorite products. "Using an anti-humidity spray is key," Pettis says. "Since my hair is naturally so curly, it always wants to resist being completely smoothed out all the way straight. Any amount of moisture makes it curl up, so anti-humidity spray is a lifesaver!"
She Switches Up Her Haircare Product
Pettis tells GirlsLife.com that her haircare routine is all about variety. "I like to switch it up each time and try something a little different with the styling. One of my favorite tips is to use 2 or 3 different sizes of irons so you get more natural looking curls or waves. After styling, my favorite part is to gently brush out the curls or use your fingers to fluff them and give them some life. I'm all about the voluminous look!"
She Uses A Microfiber Towel
Pettis tells GirlsLife.com that she doesn't just use any old towel on her hair. "One of the most helpful tricks I've learned for curly hair is to use a microfiber towel to towel-dry rather than just a regular towel! I was so surprised at how much less frizzy my hair was when I made the switch."
She Manages Stress
Being an actress can be difficult, but Pettis tells Teen Vogue that she has learned how to manage it. "If I feel stressed, or feel a lot of pressure, feel like everything's weighing on me heavily, I try to get back into my inner child who always did it for the fun of everything, and just was ready to entertain and do what made her happy without thinking of what's at stake," she says. "That's when I feel most comfortable and can find that confidence again."
