1. She Doesn’t Compare Herself to Others

Madison has a healthy approach to staying grounded in the public eye. “My mom reminds me not to compare myself to anyone else, which is great advice whether you’re a public figure or not. It’s easy to look around and wish you had what someone else has, or do what someone else is doing. But we are all on our own path! It’s important to appreciate each step in your journey,” she told Composure.

2. She Trusts Her Instincts

Madison also emphasizes the importance of self-awareness. “Trust your instincts. If something doesn’t feel right, it probably isn’t. Always listen to that little voice inside your head,” she added to Composure.

3. She Tries to Connect with Her “Inner Child”

Madison explained to Teen Vogue how she deals with stress. “I think as a kid, you just have no idea what's at stake, you have no idea the pressure that's on you,” Madison explains. “You really don't understand what's going on. So everything was just like a blind optimism. Now if I feel stressed, or feel a lot of pressure, feel like everything's weighing on me heavily, I try to get back into my inner child who always did it for the fun of everything, and just was ready to entertain and do what made her happy without thinking of what's at stake. That's when I feel most comfortable and can find that confidence again.”

4. She Dances…In Heels

Madison stays fit with the help of dance classes. She even takes a dance class that requires her to wear high heels as she gets down and shows off her hip-hop moves. The actress revealed in an Instagram Q&A that she “made it a resolution” to take classes, calling it “the best thing ever.” “I have so much fun in class,” she added.

5. She Does Pilates

“I do a lot of pilates. Working out while you lay down is lit,” Madison revealed during an Instagram Q&A. In another one, she added that she does pilates on both the mat and reformer, adding that during quarantine she would do videos of mat workouts paired with 10 minutes of abs and booty band exercises.

Actress Madison Pettis is looking back on a magical August spent at the beach, as summer draws to an end. Pettis, 25, shared a series of pictures of herself enjoying the sun and sea with friends, including a snap of herself posing on the sand in a gorgeous orange bikini and trucker hat. “August slipped away into a moment in time,” she captioned the post. “Why was this literally the best month every ❤️😢 missing u alreadyyyy,” commented friend Torri Webster. How does she stay healthy and happy? Here are 5 ways the actress takes care of her health and happiness.

1. Power of Pilates

Pettis practices Pilates using a reformer machine. "A lot of people have weak core and back muscles, and strengthening these postural muscles helps balance out the tension that results from this weakness," says athletic trainer Leanne Wonesh. "This is especially great for people who sit at desks for long periods of time because having stronger core and back muscles can help pull you out of those classic desk postures that cause tension and pain in your shoulders and legs."

2. Pickleball Player

Pettis is just one of many people who have discovered a love for pickleball. “Pickleball is a great form of cardiovascular exercise that helps get your heart rate up,” says Kaitlyn Jacobson, Physician Assistant at Renown Urgent Care – Ryland. “It can lead to better cholesterol and blood pressure levels, lowering your risk of heart disease. Since pickleball is a low-impact sport and easy on the body, it’s a great way to get movement in and maintain healthy bones, joints and muscles. By playing pickleball, you’ll reduce the rate of bone loss and help conserve bone tissue.”

3. Less Is More

Less,Is,More,Minimal,Simplicity,Easiness,Plainness,ConceptShutterstock

Pettis has battled acne over the years, and is thankful for professional guidance in dealing with it. “I felt more comfortable on camera because I was working with hair and makeup artists on sets," she says. "I felt lucky that I had professionals guiding me on what was best for my skin, how to take care of it after wearing a lot of heavy makeup on set and [teaching me] the best ways to cover up my acne. I've taken notes and done my due diligence… [My skin] doesn't love when I try a bunch of new things. I've learned that less is more — if it ain't broke, don't fix it.”

4. Beauty From the Inside

Los,Angeles,-,Feb,2:,Madison,Pettis,At,The,StellaShutterstock

Pettis doesn’t feel the need to wear makeup every day. “Beauty to me means doing what makes you feel good about yourself, no matter what other people think about it,” she says. “Some days I feel great without makeup, and some days I want to do a full beat. Don’t ever let someone tell you what you should do to be beautiful. Do you.”

5. Curly Hair Maintenance

Pettis has learned how to take care of her beautiful curly hair. “One important tip for curly hair is getting it trimmed regularly and finding a hair stylist who cuts curly hair properly,” she says. “They need to cut it while it's dry, ringlet by ringlet, so you can accurately see how much is getting cut, so it doesn't end up being shorter than you wanted. For years, I got hair cuts while my hair was wet. Curly hair is longer when it’s wet and shrinks up when it’s dry. So I had a few traumatizing haircuts where it looked like they were only cutting off one inch, but once it dried, they had actually cut like four inches. Another tip is to dry curly hair with a microfiber towel to prevent frizz. Deep conditioners are also my best friend—my hair can’t get enough moisture.”

Madison Bailey is showing off her sensational figure in SKIMS! 1. She Rides Horses

Madison is an equestrian and has a love for horses. She celebrated her 23rd birthday by going for a ride with friends. “A good old fashioned North Carolina birthday,” she captioned the image. Horseback riding is actually a good workout. “Riding a horse for 45 minutes at a walk, trot and canter can burn up to 200 calories,” says Dr. Dennis Sigler, a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horse specialist and professor in the department of animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station. “If you do something a bit more strenuous such as cutting or reining, that can come out to nearly seven calories per minute for the entire length of the riding period,” adds the American Heart Association.

2. She Sweats Outdoors

Madison likes taking her sweat sessions outdoors, going for hikes and doing the stairs. “Missing my LA hikes,” she captioned a photo of one of her sweat sessions. “Do one thing a day that makes you proud of yourself. 3.5 miles and 500 stairs will suffice for today,” she captioned a separate Instagram post.

3. She Strength Trains

Madison also stays fit with the help of strength training. She also enlists her fans to be her workout buddies, including her Outer Banks “pogue” costar Jonathan Davis. “I miss my workout buddies,” she captioned this snap.

4. She Is Open About Sexuality

Madison, who is pansexual, is transparent about her sexuality, first discussing the topic in a 2020 TikTok. In it she said she can be attracted to, "Girls. Boys. Trans boys. Trans girls. Nonbinary babies. It's what's on the inside, boo." She feels "zero shame" about her sexuality, she added in another video. In fact, sharing her truth took a weight off her. "It was worth it. I feel lighter. I feel happier that I can just be so open and honest,” she said about it.

5. She Is Open About Mental Health

Elton John AIDS Foundation's 30th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party - Red CarpetAmy Sussman/Getty Images

Madison is also honest about her mental health struggles. When she was 17, she was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and uses her platform to educate people about it. “I was nervous about the response I would get. I think people’s response to any mental health issue that’s not depression or anxiety is that you’re crazy,” she told StyleCaster. “Especially if you have a personality disorder, they’re like, ‘Oh, what are their names?’ I’m like, ‘Not multiple personality disorder. I have borderline personality disorder.’ Basically I just have conflict with the one personality I have. There are a lot of misconceptions. But I realized at the end of the day, people want more accuracy.”

6. She Gets Her Zen On

Bailey helps manage her mental health condition with meditation, crystals, and staying aware of her own triggers, she told Entertainment Tonight. “One of the main [pros] is that likes and dislikes change often, so my aesthetic changes often. My music taste changes often," she added. "I have a very broad personality, which allows me to connect with a lot of people."

7. Her Outer Banks Character Inspires Her to Wear Less Makeup

47th Annual People's Choice Awards - ArrivalsAmy Sussman/Getty Images

Madison’s character on the show has inspired her to make changes. "I wear a lot less makeup than I did before the show," she told PopSugar. "That definitely changed the way I view makeup. I'm more into a natural, glowy look versus a full face. It made me more comfortable in my own skin. I feel a lot more naturally beautiful than I ever have."

Madison Pettis, the Disney Channel staple and star of He's All That, is one of many celebrity ambassadors for Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty clothing line. Pettis just posted her newest look on Instagram, and she looks amazing. In it, Pettis posed in an orange two piece with purple flowers, with books on the floor around her. She captioned the post, “Careful with words, but it’s still hard to read me.” How does she stay so fit? 1. She’s Proud of Herself

Pettis has been acting for a long time, and she’s had to deal with rejection for a long time. However, she hasn’t let this get her down. She told her secret to Composure Magazine,“For an actor, it can be a lot of pressure to always have something going on. This business is a rollercoaster & it’s easy to get discouraged when you’re in between jobs. But you just have to stay positive and be proud of how much you’ve already accomplished so far!”

2. She Uses Anti-Humidity Spray

Pettis has amazing hair, and she makes sure to take care of it. She spilled some of her secrets to GirlsLife.com, including her favorite products. “Using an anti-humidity spray is key,” Pettis says. “Since my hair is naturally so curly, it always wants to resist being completely smoothed out all the way straight. Any amount of moisture makes it curl up, so anti-humidity spray is a lifesaver!”

3. She Switches Up Her Haircare Product

Pettis tells GirlsLife.com that her haircare routine is all about variety. “I like to switch it up each time and try something a little different with the styling. One of my favorite tips is to use 2 or 3 different sizes of irons so you get more natural looking curls or waves. After styling, my favorite part is to gently brush out the curls or use your fingers to fluff them and give them some life. I'm all about the voluminous look!”

4. She Uses A Microfiber Towel

Pettis tells GirlsLife.com that she doesn’t just use any old towel on her hair. “One of the most helpful tricks I've learned for curly hair is to use a microfiber towel to towel-dry rather than just a regular towel! I was so surprised at how much less frizzy my hair was when I made the switch.”

5. She Manages Stress

Being an actress can be difficult, but Pettis tells Teen Vogue that she has learned how to manage it. “If I feel stressed, or feel a lot of pressure, feel like everything's weighing on me heavily, I try to get back into my inner child who always did it for the fun of everything, and just was ready to entertain and do what made her happy without thinking of what's at stake,” she says. “That's when I feel most comfortable and can find that confidence again.”

Leonie Hanne is living her best life in Thailand – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the German model flaunts her fantastic figure in a $750 Missoni bathing suit while enjoying a boating day in the tropics. “She dreamed of a tropical adventure 🦋,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Stunning,” commented one of her followers. ”So beautiful,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

Coffee

Leonie enjoys the perks of caffeine. In one of her posts from Thailand, she drinks a cup of coffee at the poolside. According to the Cleveland Clinic, drinking coffee in moderation has several benefits. “It acts on your brain to improve memory, mood, reaction times, and mental function,” they say, citing a study finding that caffeine can improve endurance and performance during exercise. It is also antioxidant-rich, can ward off diabetes, prevent neurologic disease, lower cancer risk, and ward off depression, they point out.

Pilates

Leonie does Pilates at the super exclusive London studio Pilates in the Clouds. Why is Pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic, the workout has many benefits, as it “strengthens the body's inner core while increasing its flexibility, resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, stress, and back pain relief, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.

At-Home Workouts

Leonie tries to get a workout in daily, preferably in the morning. I still try to get up early to maintain a sense of routine. I start every day with a quick at-home workout and a homemade acai bowl, before starting work on emails and content creation. I’ve been getting really into TikTok lately, it’s funny and keeps me feeling energised!” she told Arcadia.

Community

It takes a village, according to Leonie. “Community is key! The people you surround yourself with are more important than ever, as we are all trying to find ways to stay connected without being physically present. Speaking to people either on the phone or through social media can shift your mindset and motivation more than ever before,” she says.

Small, Healthy Habits

Leonie focuses on maintaining small, healthy habits. “Do something every day that brings you joy. Even if that means having something small to look forward to, like having your favourite snacks around the house or changing into an outfit that makes you feel good about yourself,” she says.

Sophie Piper is embracing island life – in her swimsuit. In a new social media post, the Love Island beauty shows off her fantastic figure in a swimsuit during a tropical vacation at Kandima Maldives with Josh Ritchie. “Island life,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps taken at the picturesque resort. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.

She Doesn't Go Under the Knife

Sophie claims she hasn’t gone under the knife. “It’s your own body, you can do what you want to,” she told Grazia, weighing in on the show’s reputation for girls getting work done. “I wouldn’t have surgery myself; I don’t want it. I’ve got such a low pain tolerance as well; I’d be squirming around.”

She Gets Her Steps In

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Sophie loves paddle boarding. The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and cardio. Water sports can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140-pound male and 436 calories for a female of the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University.

She Skis

When Sophie hits the mountains, she throws on a pair of skis. “Ski club,” she captioned a photo. Research has linked downhill skiing to several health benefits. In addition to promoting physical fitness, it may decrease the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Studies have also found that the more frequently a person skis, the prevalence of known hypercholesterolemia, systemic hypertension, diabetes, the frequency of mental stress, and the occurrence of memory deficits decline.

She Loves Group Fitness

“You’ve got to be body confident,” Sophie told Grazia. One of her favorite sweat methods? Group fitness. “A few gym classes can’t hurt,” she said.

She Goes Snorkeling

On her recent Maldives vacation, Sophie and Josh snorkeled in the crystal clear water. Surprisingly, putting on a snorkel and fins and swimming through the water is a great workout. In addition to being a great aerobic exercise and burning calories, other health benefits may include improved cardiovascular function, stress reduction, mood enhancement, and muscular toning.

Tammy Hembrow is a fitness influencer and expert. She has her own app, called Tammy Fit. Hembrow has a lot of challenges on her app. Recently, she advertised a challenge with a workout video on Instagram. Hembrow captioned the post, “We are 3 days into our first @tammyfitapp challenge of the year & I am more motivated than everrrrr. (Sign ups are still open if you haven’t joined yet - there’s still time to catch up!! - link in bio). Soooo happy seeing so many of my girlies (and guys) in this challenge doing it with me!! And I CANNOT wait to see everyone’s results at the end of the 8 weeks. We got thissss 💪🏼”

She Does Pulldowns

Hembrow is seen doing pulldowns in her Instagram video. Piedmont reports that pulldowns have a lot of benefits. “The lat pulldown is a fantastic exercise for strengthening the latissimus dorsi muscle, the broadest muscle in your back. This muscle promotes good posture and spinal stability. Form is crucial when performing a lat pulldown to prevent injury and reap the best results.”

She Lifts Weights

Tammy Hebrew is seen using dumbbells.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen doing a lot of exercises with weights in her Instagram video. ACE Fitness states that using weights to workout has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

She Tracks Her Meals

Hembrow likes to track her meals on her app. She talked about the benefits of this in the caption of this “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. “Make sure to take advantage of the calorie/macro tracking features in the @tammyfitapp during this challenge guys. It can be really helpful in reaching specific goals quicker. And it also can help educate you on your food choices when it comes to nutrition, ratios, hidden calories, overeating or under eating etc. honestly I’d recommend any beginner try it out just to get a good feel for how you’re fuelling your body!! I feel like when people think of ‘meal tracking’ it can be seen as something that seems restrictive or something only bodybuilders do. When in reality it can be such a helpful tool and you can learn things that will actually encourage long term habits 🫶🏼🫶🏼”

She Loves Bananas

Tammy Hebrew has a banana snack.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying bananas in her “What I Eat In A Day” Instagram video. The Cleveland Clinic states that bananas have a lot of benefits. “A single medium-sized banana offers about 32 mg of the mineral magnesium, which fulfills around 8% to 10% of your daily magnesium requirement. Magnesium is involved in many processes in your body, including: Blood pressure. Blood sugar levels. Building proteins. Maintaining bone. Muscle function. Nerve function.”

She Loves Cottage Cheese

Tammy Hebrew's snack the contains banana and cottage cheese.

Tammy Hebrew/Instagram

Hembrow is seen enjoying her bananas with cottage cheese in the previous Instagram video. Cottage cheese is very healthy. UCLA Health reports, “Cottage cheese’s protein content and low calories make it an ideal food for weight management. Research shows that whether you are trying to lose weight or reduce your risk of overweight or obesity, eating a high-protein diet can help you feel full and satisfied for longer.”
