1. Here's Her Approach to Fitness
This is her fitness routine. “My fitness routine is fairly relaxed, but I definitely pick up the pace as soon as a film comes along, especially one that’s a bit more physical. When I did Watchmen, it was like a nine-month training session. I thought, ‘I’m going to keep this up for life so I never have to train myself back up again.’ But the second they called ‘cut’ on the last scene, I was done. I never wanted to see a gym again!” she told Parade.
2. She Follows the 80/20 Rule

“My goal is to have 80 percent of my diet be vegetables and fresh fruit. Whenever I cook a meal, I go to the fridge and say, 'What veg are we going to have today and what am I going to accompany the veg with?' Then I’ll toss in some protein and good carbs, like sweet potatoes or quinoa,” she told Parade.

“Breakfast changes—I think it's important to change things up so that you get different nutrients from the foods you're eating. I've heard that you can become sensitive to certain foods if you eat them every single day so I'll switch between veggie omelettes, protein shakes, green smoothies, or oatmeal with flax and chia seeds and lots of berries. Or I'll do avocado toast,” she told Well + Good.
4. This is Her Stress-Buster

“The one thing that's helped me with stress is planning the night before. Usually it's from being overwhelmed and a lot of things piling on—if you take a moment and prepare for your week ahead of time or the night before by writing stuff down and sticking to it, I find that it really helps. Other than that, if you take 10 minutes to meditate and get yourself grounded again, I think that's such a nice way to reset. Then you're able to handle more,” she told Well + Good.
5. She Tries to Strike a Meaningful Balance

“Someone lied and told us there’s a thing called balance, but there’s no such thing. For me, trying to find some balance in the day, one day at a time, is the best way to come at it. You have to forgive yourself if you don’t achieve it and pat yourself on the back the days that seemed more balanced than the others. But we’re never going to completely get there. If I’m feeling good at the end of the day and my family is happy, then I feel like I’ve struck a good balance,” she told Parade.
