1. She Gives Herself Challenges
Mandira is a fan of giving herself challenges. “The 40-days challenge was fantastic, but it’s time now to raise the bar. I am looking at 100-days. 100 days of healthy living. It is going to a minimum of 10000 steps and 45-minutes of exercise every single day along with mindful eating, good healthy balanced diet, and it begins today,” she wrote in one Instagram post.
2. She Exercises Almost Every Day
Mandira hits the gym at 6:30 am almost every day. “I work out five days a week, and make sure I include cardio every day. Apart from going to the gym, I also like to swim and run,” she told the Hindustan Times.
3. She Runs
In addition to grueling workouts, Mandira also blasts calories by hitting the pavement. “I usually run once every ten days but when it’s the monsoons, I run all through the season. So far, I have done two half marathons,” she told the Hindustan Times.
4. She Does Yoga
Mandira is a devoted yogi. “Started my morning doing a set of #sunsalutations on top of the world 🥰 at the #aerbar .. and I know it’s going to be a #lovelyday,” she captioned this image of herself striking a yoga pose. "Establishing and committing to a yoga practice does not have to require a lot of time each day. Of course, the more often you do yoga, you will find your body wanting more of it, and other things that may have once been barriers to your yoga practice will fall away to make room. It really can be that transformative," says ACE Fitness.
5. She Takes Time Out for Self-Care
When Mandira needs a reset, she takes time out of her busy schedule to take care of herself. “Thank you @atmantan and @fsmumbai for the most amazing 3 days of wellness, detox, therapy and healing all right here in the city. The yoga, the therapy, the kriyas and the food… all exemplary. The #urbanwellnessclinic is just what I needed at this point in my life to restart my journey through healing and to wellness,” she captioned this Instagram post.
6. She Uses an Activity Tracker
Mandira keeps track of her activity with a Garmin watch. “When you live healthy, you live better. This latest GPS smartwatch from Garmin has advanced health monitoring and fitness features to help you better understand what’s going on inside your body. It offers longer battery life and better fitness tracking in a more traditional touchscreen smartwatch body,” she wrote. “Wear it all day and anywhere.”
7. She Works Out When She Travels
Traveling isn’t an excuse to skip workouts, per Mandira. “You can do a complete body weight work out without any equipment – right from squats to jumping jacks,” she pointed out to the Hindustan Times. “Plus, you can always pack in things like running shoes, resistance bands and skipping ropes, which are light and hardly take up space in your luggage.”
8. Her Diet Is Healthy Most of the Time

Last but not least, Mandira maintains a healthy diet. “Many people think that because they work out, they can eat anything. But your diet is 70% important, and exercising, only 30%. And on the other hand, there are people who starve themselves. Instead, find nourishing foods you like and eat more of those. Adopt a sustainable diet because you can’t beat what you eat,” she explained to Hindustan Times. She is a vegetarian, but does eat eggs. She also has a sweet tooth. “Come Friday or Saturday, and my diet goes for a toss. If I’m having wine on a Friday night, I have to have chocolates with it. In fact, I have a weakness for everything chocolate – be it desserts or ice cream. I also love binging on cakes. I mean, it’s somebody’s birthday, somewhere, right?”
